On March 28, 2013 I entered into a contract with Premier Exteriors after meeting with Geraldo L****** for complete renovation of two bathrooms totaling $33,000. Upon signing the contract I paid $11,000 with a credit card, the next day Shawn S******* came to the house to measure the bathrooms, review the items in the contract and look at plumbing. At this time another $11,000 via credit card was paid.According to the contract the work would start around June 5. In May I called the office, left messages for Geraldo and Shawn with no response. I called every week leaving messages. Still no response.At this point with no response I became concerned and in July tried to contact them through their website as a potential customer. I received no less than six responses to set up an appointment when I stated that I wanted the work completed and would contact the AGs office Brian D****** called me and said the showers were not delivered to them yet but should be completed in early August. I researching how long it takes to manufacture custom showers the range in 8 to 12 weeks. It is now over 20 weeks. I have called them on July 20, 27 and August 7,8,9,10.I have called and emailed each week with no response. Today I called and the phone is disconnected. I'm concerned that my money is lost and no work with be done.Customer Answer

We met Premier Exterior and Designs at the CT Home Show in Jan 2023. We met with the salesman at our home in March and decided to use them for a bathroom remodel. We gave $2850.00 to the salesman they day we signed the contract (April 12, 2023) and five days later a man came to measure everything. another $11,400.00 was given to him that day (April 17, 2023). As of today (Sept 18, 2023), no contact has been made by Premier Exteriors and Design to give us an estimated install date. I've spoken to other individuals on social media who are in the same situation as we are. They have a ************** regarding also being scammed by these people.Initial Complaint

On 3/08/2023, I contracted with the Premier Exteriors and Design company to perform a one day shower installation. On this day I gave a deposit of $3500.00 via ***** On 3/13/2023, a technician from the company measured the project and took a second deposit of $3500.00 placed on ***************** The total cost of the job was to be $10,500.00 and final payment was to be made on the job completion by 05/15/2023. No work to date was ever started and the company did not provide unsolicited updates. On 8/18/2023, I spoke to Mike P*****, one of the owners and requested a refund of my total deposit. I was told that the parent company in Virginia was responsible for refund checks. After not receiving any refund I contacted my credit card companies. **************** provided a refund of $3,500.00 but **** would not because the charge was over 120 days. On 09/08/2023, I spoke to a second owner, Nicolas K******* for the second time requesting a refund to my credit card or a check. To date I have had no returned calls or refund. I am seeking a refund of $3500 for work never started. As a senior citizen I feel taken advantage of by this company.Initial Complaint

A recent business transaction involving a prepaid project scheduled for September 15, 2023. We paid in advance to a company for a service that has yet to be completed, and the lack of communication has been appalling.Despite our upfront payment and the agreed-upon project date, we find ourselves in a situation where the project remains unfinished. Numerous attempts to contact this company have proved futile, as not a single call has been answered, and voicemails have gone unanswered. We entrusted this company with our resources and expectations, only to be met with complete silence on their end. Their failure to fulfill their contractual obligations and their complete lack of communication have left us in a distressing predicament, and I hope our experience serves as a warning to others.Initial Complaint

To whom it may concern,Back in February of 2023 we contracted with Premier Exteriors & Design out of Sturbridge Massachusetts owned by Nick K******** to build a deck. The company immediately took a deposit of $20,000. The work as per the contract was to start in March of 2023 but did not. In April of 2023 they took another $219.00 to purchase a permit for the work. At that time we were told the work would start mid-June 2023. When that didn't happen we called and were told that by the end of July 2023 the work would start. Still Premier Exteriors and Design missed that date so when we called again early August we were told that in September 2023 the work would start. That was the last communication we had with the company. As of September 1st the company is no longer answering phones or responding to customers. Their local office is locked and it was mentioned by a former employee that everyone has been let go. At this point there is seemingly no staff left to start the project so I am seeking a refund of the amount they originally took.Thank you,***************************************Initial Complaint

We signed a contract with the company to replace windows and siding on our house back in November of 2022. For months we heard nothing, reach out on our own to find out when the project would continue. In time they installed some of the windows, but did not finish the project and are yet to start the siding. For months we have been calling to find out what the schedule for the product is and keep getting told they are delayed waiting for supplies with no further information. Now, in the last month their number goes right to voicemail and we have not recieved any communication back about our requests or calls and from what we can tell, their place of business is no longer in use. It appears they might have gone out of business, but we have not been notified about anything. We want to get the job finished or get our loan canceled with them with potential civil penalty due their mishandling of the contractInitial Complaint

Back in April we signed a contract with them to have our siding and roof done. We paid 10,000 in cash(check) and financed the other 70,000 through ********* They kept telling us that we were next to have our work done. Then coming up with excuses of why work can't be done. During the whole time they never made any attempts to call me and inform me. I had to always call them. And each time it was something else or telling me that can start next week. About a 6 weeks ago I started to not even get calls back and about 3 weeks ago I can't even get a hold of anyone. I'm hearing they owe money to a lot of other customers as well, and even employees.Initial Complaint

I have enclosed a letter to you with our concerns with Premier Exterior and Design. Contracts and Loan Company.This started back in Feb, 2023. Deposit given Feb 28th 2023.We would like our money back seeing as though they have not been back to do the work they promised. Our loan with ********, (arranged by Premier) states the works should have been completed no later than 8/23/2023!!Premier, appears to be closed, has furloughed all employees, and continues to advertise. I have learned through my own investigation that this business is closed, they have at least 29 if not many, many more people that they owe money to. Employees have not been paid either. From what I have heard, they owe customers over $100,000 for deposits taken and no services rendered!Initial Complaint

We ordered 4 new windows to be installed in condo 4/2/2023. We were told windows would be manufactured & installed within 10-12 weeks. On April 5th & 7th personal checks were written to Premier Exteriors in amounts of $430 and $1720 for total of $2150.00 After 12 week time period numerous phone calls & text messages were made. We were told at this time windows had been manufactured, but we were not given an installment date. It has now been more than 20 weeks & we are still waiting for window installation. All of our continued phone calls and correspondence with this company remains unanswered!!Initial Complaint

On 3/22/23, we met with Geraldo L****** of Premier Exteriors and Design in our home, for the installation of a new shower. I had checked their reviews at that time and they were good and I like doing business with local businesses. Geraldo was great, he did not try to upsell us and stuck to our budget and he was very knowledgeable about the products. We picked out the walls and fixtures. On 4/4/23 we met at their office to sign a contract and left a deposit of 3666.00. A short summary of the contract for timetable is "work will begin on or about 6/4/23" and "be completed by 7/4/23" barring delays beyond their control. On 4/6/23, Sean came by and measured and we made an additional deposit of 3666.00. June went by with no word. At the end of June both my husband and I called with no return call. We went by the office in Sturbridge the beginning of July and spoke with Brian. He said they had a shortage of personnel as some had left and they had not received the materials from the manufacturer but we could expect the shower installed the end of July, beginning of August. I called several times the end of August and no phone calls were returned. We stopped by the office on 9/5/23 and the office was dark. I looked at the current reviews and it appears most people are having great difficulties with Premier Exteriors. I would no longer trust the quality of their work and would like my money back.
