      DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This company is a total SCAM!!! I have tried canceling several times and they continue to charge me!! Highly recommend not using CONSTANT CONTACT!!!!! I would leave 0 stars if I could!! I was on hold for over an hour waiting to speak to a manager, only to be told that one was not available!!!

      This company does not seem to value their clients and make it extremely difficult to cancel. Since you pay in advance, you won't be refunded the money that you p***aid for the service. They try to talk you into keeping the service, but your card is charged every six months without warning so you are stuck losing money either way. They will not allow you to cancel online. You just see a charge for over 200 bucks and have to try to call them again. The open rate is very low compared to other services which have transparent pricing and don't charge for services not given. Even the customer service *** could not defend their actions and kept saying "I can't comment on these business practices".

      I went online to get free mailing for a couple hundred emails. It was their free testing option. It wouldn't let me log in. I had to call in waiting over twenty five minutes on the phone. They ended up collecting my credit card information to access the free testing mailing. Once that was done I was charged fifty four dollars in my account. And they did not allow me to cancel it five days later. They want you to send out mailings, and do a testing first, giving them access to your contact informations.Pressure sales. Wasn't that the only thing I received thirteen emails in two days. My representative *******, was trying to reach out to me and then he had no time to talk with me when I was ready to talk to him 6 days later. I was scammed into believing it was a free service for testings.A couple of a bit of my contacts. It was difficult so I did not want to sent any emails through them. It made me feel obligated. All I wanted was to check their free mailing first. They told me on the phone today they will not refund. Be cautious and don't do business with them.

      They overcharge and won't refund anything. They charge for trials. If you upload too many contacts and immediatly delete them, they charge you for a higher tier. There click rate is abysmal but they pretend like the open rate matters and report that. It's the most expense way to send emails and their customer service has no flexibility. Steer clear. It's a trap whether it's your first month or you've been with them for a long time.

      They no longer offer personalized service an do not have anyone answering their phones. There is no way to cancel your subscription online and no email address for support. Their online live chat personnel are not empowered to cancel accounts and can only submit a ticket to their billing team. The billing team will take 7-14 days to respond and may not contact you at all. You may end up contacting your credit card company to dispute charges and cancel payments.

      Constant Contact made it extremely difficult to cancel my account and continued to charge me for 3 months after I first requested cancellation in March 2025. I contacted them via chat and phone, clearly stated that I wanted to cancel, and was repeatedly told I had to call billing. The phone line forced me to listen to long sales pitches I couldnt skip, and I eventually gave up. They refused to honor my written cancellation request and kept pushing me to pause the account instead.Despite clear communication that I no longer wanted the service, they kept charging me until a payment failed due to insufficient funds. My credit card company reversed the charge and issued me a new card. I then filed a complaint with the *** on June 23, 2025, for violation of the **** March 2024 Click to Cancel rule and for deceptive billing practices.Shortly after I submitted the *** complaint, I received a survey email from Constant Contact asking for feedback. I gave negative feedback and mentioned the *** report. Within 30 minutes, the same agent who had told me earlier that I had to call billing suddenly emailed me and said he was submitting a cancellation request via email something he previously claimed was not allowed.I submitted a second *** report to document this update, as it shows their cancellation policies are deliberately misleading. They only processed the cancellation after I filed federal complaints and gave negative survey feedback.Ive seen dozens of reviews from other customers experiencing the same issue. ******************** currently has a 1-star rating, and its clear this is part of a broader pattern of deceptive conduct.

      I emailed Constant Contact to cancel my service a week before the renewal date, yet instead of processing the cancellation, they still renewed the service and charged my credit card $957.When I contacted customer service and explained that I had already requested the cancellation, I was told that since the charge had already been processed, they could not offer a refund.This experience has been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend Constant Contact to anyone, as it seems they will go to great lengths to take your money, even when youve followed their cancellation procedures.

      This people are annoying starting from their sales *** to customer service. They force me to buy a membership and were insisting after I told that I would look into their service first they made me pay for a plan. Then when I compare their service to other companies I notice they offer less emails and benefits so I decided to call them the next day to get a refound and they denied me a refound and made waste a whole hour on the phone and then after talking to 2 different customer service and their billing department they were asking me to send an email to one of my customers or to them in order to get my refound and also questioning me about why I was cancelling their service and trying to hold me tide up to their service. I had to call my credit card company in order to get a refound from them they are literally acting like scammers.

      Their website does not show an email address to contact for support or cancellation. I guess they don't like dealing with tons of email being sent to them. How ironic. Their "Manage Account" button does nothing. Their customer service's "unusually high call volume" is at 30 minutes. Any company that has such poor customer service that makes it nearly impossible to cancel is not serving you. It is clearly not in your best interest to contract with them.

      I signed up on April 25th 2025 to use their services they charged me $59.53 on the 28th but they only gave me a person to onboard me the 30th At this point I found out that CC will not work with persons who need to buy a new email list of contacts. As this is just one house that I need to send out ads or flyers for I need a new contact list. So no problem, we cannot work together. Tried to get someone on the phone on the 30th. Called a first time 1 hour on the phone waiting. Called towards closing time and spoke to someone 5 mins before closing time, after also waiting 1 hour on the phone. They have no email address to cancel with and I could not even do it on my account. *** I finally did speak to an agent she said i had to start up loading contacts so that they could refund me. That makes no sense, I dont want to start using their system. I told her this, she said they would give me back 1/2 my money in that case. I said NO I didnt use or even start anything with their company. So of course she wrote it up and is sending it to her administration office and yes maybe I ll get a reply with 15 days. Who knows if they will decide on 1/2 a refund or the whole amount. I disputed this amount with my bank account. I will not pay a cent for a subscription of social media that will not work for me .
