      We've been with Hanover for years and the service we received for replacement of a roof due to storm damage and repairs due to road hazard on our automobile was exemplary from initial service by our local agent, the Hanover claims department and the approved body shop and car rental agency (***********. Definitely plan on staying with Hanover.

      I have never had a problem with this company. they offer the best rates (when you combine home and auto) of anybody out in the vast insurance marketplace. My agents are very knowledgeable also! If you have a question and they don't know the answer they find it quickly!

      Whenever such services are needed, like the repairs to ones automobile, it is essential that they be attended to in the most efficient manner. That is where Hanover excels. I have been with the company for years, and obviously intend to remain for many more.

      Frauds! My husband and I have been with Hanover for years and paid them tons of money. I recently had a fender bender (other driver at fault). The initial response was decent--I heard from the adjuster within days and he assured me the process would start moving. And for awhile, it did. But when it came to the real work, nothing happened. A week after the accident, the adjuster had marked this as a "waive deductible" circumstance in his notes. Fast forward one month--I finally have an appointment for the car to be repaired. I sent multiple emails to the adjuster, requesting a rental car (which my policy covers). No response. Ever. I called my local agent, who is also inept, but not as inept as Hanover. Minutes before my scheduled body shop appointment, the rental car confirmation came in. I was scheduled to pick up my car this morning. I arrived promptly at 8am. The body shop informed me that I owed $1200. Uh, what?? The deductible was waived (per the adjuster's own notes) nearly one month ago. Unfortunately, this adjuster failed to communicate the same to the body shop, just as he failed to communicate to me. I am switching insurance companies TODAY (and so far, we've found that Hanover was charging us WAYYYY too much). Unethical. Incompetent. Fired. Can I choose half a star?

      Ive had Hanover Insurance now for six years and Ive had a bundle of auto and home and honestly theyre easy to work with and great prices and great coverage overall very happy with them.

      If you are a small business don't deal with this company.. we hand services pre-approval on a pip case.. are representative actually said .. Hanover agrees we owe you this money.. but someone called madata dosent.. so no check.. devastating

      Poor customer service. I do not recommend this insurance company. To repair my husbands car we were given the choice of very low quality, poor customer relation repair shops. Some were not even able to see the car until 4-5 weeks after the accident. We selected one that was able to see the car with the least amount of wait time. It looked like we were sent to a chop shop. Almost in the shop for 6 weeks with the shop telling us that Hanover wants the rental to be returned (even though his car wasnt ready yet) and that they are mad about having a rental that long. I am not sure why Hanover insurance would discuss this and have the shop tell us this information. If something was wrong or needed to be fixed, why wouldnt they call their own customer? I felt that it was extremely unprofessional. The whole experience is already a pain and instead of helping the situation they made it worse with their style of communication and poor choice of shops that we had to choose from. This insurance is basically just to cover you by saying yes you have insurance, but if you are actually wanting a reliable insurance that helps the customer with what to do or cares about where their customers are sent, then you should look elsewhere.
