Purchase a Beretta A400 Xtreme plus shotgun brand new with a factory defect causing improper cycling. Contacted beretta for warranty, and beretta received the gun at their facility on February 3rd. Was told the warranty repair would take 6-8 weeks. I have contacted beretta multiple times over the past four months through phone and email, and IF they respond, I am always told it will be another 2-4 weeks before they look at it.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,
I just filed a complaint regarding Beretta USA Corporation, Accokeek, MD and copied/past the wrong complaint description. The correct description is:

I purchased a Beretta A400 Xtreme PLUS KO 12-gauge shotgun brand new on 01 April 2022 online from Midway USA for $1,925. The gun I received has a paint defect on the forearm. I called Beretta USA and was on hold for an hour before finally talking with a representative who asked for a picture. I sent a picture and was then informed the defect was covered and a new forearm would be sent, but the forearm was on backorder with no delivery date. I have since emailed Beretta USA seven times in the last seven months inquiring about the replacement forearm (emailed two different addresses for Beretta USA) and have not received a single response. I am being ignored (the warranty expires April 2023). After spending nearly $2,000 for a shotgun, I would like to at least have a gun without a manufacturer's defect and a response to a warranty claim.

My apologies for originally sending an incorrect description.

    Best regards,
    *******************************

I called Beretta twice to express dismay that my *** ***** 40cal full size frame (Serial # ********* fell out of my truck while I was cleaning it and got hit by another car and I had to discard the frame. I am left with only the slide. I realize that perhaps warranty may not cover an accident such as this, but I was told by both reps that Beretta wouldn't be able to send me another frame due to it being a brand new serial number, and that I would need to buy a brand new gun. A brand new gun?? I spent $600+ on my gun and I don't want to buy a whole new gun. I was hoping Beretta would work with me and send me a new frame even if I have to pay for it (I will pay for the frame, please just don't leave me to dry by buying a whole new gun). That's a whole lot better than buying a new gun. I hope someone more senior can review this case and explore that as an option. Thank you!

On 5/28/22 I purchased a new Beretta ******** M9 Commercial 9MM PLST 2-15RD handgun. My reason for purchasing this model is because it is advertised/marketed by Beretta as a commercial version of the M9 (officially the Pistol, Semiautomatic, 9mm, M9 - the designation for the Beretta 92FS semi-automatic pistol used by the United States Armed Forces). Beretta U.S.A. Corp. made an effort to promote the handgun by referencing its '...military-style markings...'. The handgun I received is equipped with a barrel which while compatible/functional, is inconsistent with '...military-style markings...' - thus I feel the product was deceptively advertised. The M9 is widely known to be fitted with a matte black carbon steel, chrome-lined barrel. The barrel my handgun was fitted with is a stainless steel barrel - which is inconsistent with the composition of the barrels associated with the M9 and includes the word 'STAINLESS' prominently stamped in plain view on top of the barrel - which is inconsistent with the advertisement of '...military-style markings...'. I have contacted Beretta U.S.A. Corp. twice using their online contact form, called/spoke with a customer service representative and also sent an email (last contact was July 12, 2022) and have not received a response/resolution to my complaint. I have not used the handgun since its purchase - wanting to preserve its condition until the matter was resolved. As a result, I have been unable to use my handgun as intended for over 4 & 1/2 months.

I purchased a ******** **** 4 inch revolver from a Beretta authorized importer on April 1st of 2022 in North Carolina. I received the firearm in my possession on/around April 5th of 2022, and noted a defect in the bluing of the revolver. I contacted Beretta customer service on April 6th by email, spoke with a representative on April 7th, and had my firearm shipped to Beretta for a repair on April 8th under the guidance of a Beretta customer service representative. Since then, I have been given almost no concrete updates on my firearm. I call a few times a month to check in, and have had my service window extended each time I have called from 8 weeks, to 12 weeks, to 14 weeks, to indefinitely. Sometime in June of 2022 Beretta decided to exchange my firearm for another of the same type and value, but did not call me to notify me of this. I had to call them to get this information. I have since moved to a state where I cannot legally purchase the ******** **** but can grandfather it in as a legal firearm that I owned prior to moving, and was advised by a gunsmith associate named ******* that I could have the firearm shipped to a family address in North Carolina for pickup. Every time I have called since July, there has been no concrete update. I was told my firearm could arrive in a shipment to US on September 21st, but upon calling again this turned out to not be true. At this point, I am out of options trying to get good customer service from Beretta. My resolution: I want my firearm shipped to the North Carolina address ASAP, I want a personal call from Beretta confirming the address and order details, and I want Beretta to move heaven and earth to make this happen.

They've had my firearm since July 2021 for warranty repairs. A rep finally contacted me 7 months later saying they were just going to replace with a new one. Then no contact. I've called and emailed several times and no one gets back to me.

Bought a Beretta 92G Centurion Tactical early 2021 from a local gun dealer. Took it to the range for the first time around Aug 2021. Pistol would not fire. Noticed light primer strikes on the primer of the bullet. Ran different brands of bullets through the pistol to make sure it was not ammo related. Contacted Beretta and sent it back them which arrived via *** 10/1/2021. 3 weeks later attempted to contact them for an update in which I never got a response. Called them Jan of 2022 and the lady I spoke to said "Oh didn't anyone call you? The pistol can't be fixed and needs to be replaced. Send me an email with the name and address of your FFL and we'll send a replacement to you". So I did. Waited and waited and no replacement had been sent. Emailed them multiple times with no response or a brief statement on a pistol will soon be sent. with a final response from them in late April stating one would be sent in June of 2022. Still nothing with no response to emails. Attempted to call a few times without being able to get through. So here I am over 11 months later after sending ion my pistol with no sight of resolution. If you don't have a replacement pistol at least offer a refund or replacement for a similarly priced pistol you do have to send out immediately.

I purchased a beretta shotgun towards the end of 2021. I shot several rounds through it without the gun cycling properly, hoping it would eventually break in. It never did. I sent the gun to Beretta for repair in March 2022. They reached out after 17 weeks or so and told me it was an issue with the barrel and that they have no ETA on when they can replace it.They manufacture it, how can they have no idea? I am now at 22 weeks and have not received a response on numerous calls/emails. I understand if you cant repair the gun in a fraction of the time that other manufacturers handle issues, but I at least expect a response. If it will be another 6 months please tell me that I would much rather hear bad news than nothing at all. The beretta website says their customer service goal is to, offer exceptional customer service that is both timely and accurate. Is this just a statement to sound good or do you actually stand behind it? Beretta ticket number *******. Screenshot of them receiving the firearm in March is attached

I purchased 2 Beretta APX A1 Carry pistols at ****************** while Beretta was running a $100 Rebate on these pistols.I submitted receipts and pics to their 3rd party that handles the rebates (rapid rebates) and 14 weeks later my status still shows as "processing". I have co workers that have already received their rebates.. but I keep getting the runaround when contacting Beretta Customer Support. Customer supprt reps only state that I have done my part and just need to keep waiting as they srr the rebates are still in processing stage.. but 14 weeks is more than enough time. I'm afraid I got lost in shuffle and nobody at Beretta is willing to honor their false claim of $100 rebates. I figured a negative comment on BBB will get the attention of some higher ups in the Beretta organization. I'm not asking for anything for free.. just what was advertised that made me purchase the pistols. I would not have bought them if I knew I was going to get scammed on the rebate. Buyer beware~

August 17th I placed an online order which was cancelled with no valid reason. I spent 45 minutes that same afternoon on hold to reach someone to place the same exact order over the phone. August 20th I receive the order which was supposed to be a quantity of 14 Beretta M9-22, M9A1-22 & 92_22 Magazine 15Rds .22LR, and they all said this on the packaging but out of those 14 only 5 of them were actually 15 round magazines the other 9 were all 10 round magazines that I did not order. I spent another 45 minutes on 8/22 to reach someone to be told they do not have an exchange program to exchange the 9 magazines incorrectly sent to me with correct 15 round magazines. I was told I will have to return the 9 magazines for a refund and place a new order, and on the new order I will not receive the 40% discount I had originally received. So now I am expected to drive to return incorrect items that is the fault of Beretta. Then pay more for the products than the original price I ordered them at. Plus chances are I will receive another order of incorrect products in the wrong packaging. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I could not. I asked for the managers name and I was told I could not have it by a Nora. All I wanted was the products I ordered at the price I paid. At this point I have wasted my own time and money. Then I was told if I wait two business days they might possibly be able to do an exchange but they have to ask some people. The customer service with this magazine order has been awful and it is making me regret the gun purchase. If you all give me a complete refund and allow me to keep the incorrect stock that you sent me for the hassle of wasting my time I will accept that resolution or at least refund my card for the 9 out of 14 items that were sent to me incorrectly and allow me to keep them. I did my job right I went to the website and paid why should I have to pay gas and waste more of my time to drive to drop off something that is your mistake.
