I ordered service on 2/9/23 and my laundry was picked up that day. Laundry was delivered on 2/10/22 but had many missing items and had someone else’s laundry. I reached out multiple times to the company and was told each time that I reached out that the other person’s clothes would be picked up and I would get my laundry delivered that day. This went on for several days. Nobody ever reached out to me. I still don’t have my laundry and someone else laundry is sitting on my front steps. The service cost $63 but I lost hundreds of dollars of my laundry. I was told I would receive my laundry but did not. I was told there would be a protection plan that would cover my losses but have not received any follow up from the company. Basically they took my laundry, took my money, and left me out to dry.Initial Complaint

On Monday, February 6 at 9 AM I had my laundry picked up for cleaning service. The service is supposed to be returned the next day. I didn’t get it until 48 hours later, I was missing three garments, and I received other garments that weren’t mine. They pride their self on prompt service, they say they don’t mix clothes, and they say they have insurance for any clothes that are missing and I reached out to customer service and they completely ignore the fact that you were missing clothes and you received other clothes that weren’t yours. The only thing is they can do is say sorry that they were late. They have insurance for situations like this but they don’t use the insurance, so the question is do they really have insurance? I tried their service one more time to give them the benefit of the doubt on Wednesday, February 8th I put out my clothes for service, it is now Saturday, February 11th and I still don’t have my clothes. I feel like everyone should hear about my experience so it doesn’t happen to somebody else. People don’t deserve this kind of service, they lack professionalism, poor communication, and the customer service needs more training. On Jan 31st I requested a SudShare sudster to pick up laundry to wash dry and fold. The cost of the order was $73.80. Our laundry was delivered as promised but the under garments were visibly still dirty. When I complained to SudShare about the issue they said that the sudster stated “she couldn’t get the stains out” and “they were not responsible for the issue and they can’t give me a refund” The sudster never expressed to me she could not wash or get the stains out. Furthermore, I was able to wash them myself and the stains came right out. My assessment of the situation is that they were never washed in the first place and the sudster was being dishonest about it. The issue still has yet to be resolved and Sudshares customer service has been a very poor help.

The date of the laundry pick up was 2/2 and the drop off was supposed to be 2/3 around 8 pm. Instead the drop off ended up being 2/4 at 2:30 am. I had four bags of laundry when picked up and only received 3 bags back. I am missing clothing such as 4 black, grey and white long sleeve women shirts, 5 grey bath towels, 10 hand/kitchen towels, 5 quikrete men’s work outfits. The sudster even messaged me asking if specific items were mine and was unsure himself.
When I tried to get in touch with customer services there was no answer to their phone line. When trying to get in contact through live chat, they disconnected the chat and even closed the ticket. I am requesting a refund as well as a reimbursement for the items lost or stolen.Initial Complaint

On January 22nd I had 2 bags worth of laundry picked up from my porch. My laundry was returned to my porch on January 23rd in 3 vacuum sealed bags. As I unpacked the items I did come across 1 black wash cloth that was dirty and was not mine. But I was not going to complain about it. However, we just realized we are missing one item that is a favorite of someone in our household. I have looked everywhere for it and realized now it was not returned to us in our laundry. It is a gap fleece footless spiderman one piece pajama size 6. I tried to contact sudshare last night but there is no way to reach out to the person who did our laundry. I sent a message through the app and included a picture of the missing item. It said they would be in touch over email quickly, but I have not heard from them. How can we resolve this issue? We would like our item back. I tried to re buy it from gap but it is sold out in the size needed. Please advise how we can resolve this issue. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I paid $54.25 for laundry services in early December 2022. I contacted SudShare support when some of the clothes were returned with what appeared to be bleach stains. They have yet to respond to follow up emails after over a month. I am seeking monetary compensation for the damaged clothing which is $200 per terms and conditions.Initial Complaint

In NY (Suffolk county) I ordered 3 bags of laundry to be picked up on a Sunday 1/29/23 and washed for my elderly parents. In the app Armando says he picked up. I have a young lady on the ring camera picking up. And then a day later in the app it says he returned 5 bags at 9:57pm but nothing was ever put back on my doorstep. I’ve been trying to contact and email them for days and they said they would email me back and nothing. Tons of open tickets an no response.
There is no evidence of return. No bags left anywhere. I checked my ring camera videos and nothing. They charged my card and nothing was returned. My parents’ sheets and towels were never returned. They are elderly and need those items.
Where are my items? And I can’t get in touch with the person to find out. This service should be out of business. It is extremely upsetting and no customer service to get some resolve. It’s a true scam. STAY AWAY!!!! I use them in Maryland with no problems. So I don’t understand New York SudShare.
Stay Away!! Get this company shut down!! I want reimbursement for my items’ cost and the service fee.Initial Complaint

I placed a Sudshare order on Friday January 27 to be received on Saturday January 28. There were no issues until my order arrived smelling like cigarettes. I could smell it through the bags and as soon as I opened the four bags of nearly my entire wardrobe and my comforter I was hit with an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. It was all over my clothes and I had several other people smell them to confirm that. I was charged 45 dollars for this order only to have my clothes come back ruined. I have been trying to get in contact with Sudshare for two days now to refund my order. I had finally found a phone number to text and they immediately stopped answering once I began asking questions about my refund process. I had to place a second order which came back perfectly fine but I was charged again. I also was charged 30 dollars less for this order than my previous which I would like answers about. I have now spent nearly 60 dollars on Sudshare and nobody will speak to me about refunding this. I will not be paying for my original service when my clothes came back disgusting, and I should not have had to pay for my second service. It should have been credited by Sudshare because that should not have happened in the first place. Every single one of their support methods does not work, there is no way to get in contact with this app. I demand a refund for everything.Business Response

We sincerely apologize that the customer's first order was returned smelling of smoke-- that's absolutely not okay with us, and should NEVER happen. If and when it does, we offer to immediately rewash the problem order, free of charge, which we did. The customer placed a new order, we credited her account the total cost of her first order ($44.42), and re-washed her laundry. The second order she rated a 5/5 with high compliments.
We are not sure why there was a weight discrepancy with the second order, but since the credits given for the total cost of the first order did not cover the rewash, we added additional credits to her account to cover that discrepancy.
Because of the credits given, the customer has only paid for 1 service, not 2, and was very happy with the second service, where we fixed the issue she had with the first.Initial Complaint

We requested laundry be done by sudshare on Friday January 20th. We weighed our laundry before requesting and it came in at 25.8 pounds. We added a few items of clothing day of but not much. Our laundry was collected and washed. We received an email saying Sudshare had washed 51.4 pounds of laundry and would be charging us $53.85. We were shocked. We got our scale out and met the sudster at the door to weigh the clothes and get the problem corrected. We were told she was just s delivery girl and couldn't help us. We took a video of the clothes and us weighing them and contacted Sudshare that night. A ticket was submitted and I tried to send them the video via text and email. Yesterday I got a text saying they were going to close the ticket bc they hadn't heard from me in 24 hours. I was the last person to communicate with them and was told via email they were looking into the case. I texted back that I was waiting for a resolution was the last person to communicate. No response was received. We finally got an email saying the only fair resolution was for our sudster to come back and weigh the clothes. It's been a week. We obviously don't have the clothes bagged up still.Business Response

We apologize for the apparent miscommunication-- I did review the interactions with our Support Team, and apparently communications weren't always coming through. The video attachment is only 1 second long, so I cannot view it. We have very specific weighing protocols, so I will reach out to the customer to get the video another way for review. It's definitely our goal to solve this and correct any weight inaccuracy.
