I have used Sudshare for several months and it was going well. A couple days ago I paid for same day service, which I knew was going to be double the usual price ($2 a pound). I saw later that day, the "sudster" claimed my laundry weighed 66 pounds, and charged me $135. Every single week, I put the same amount of laundry out, weighing from 25-33 pounds and this week was even less. I contacted corporate and they told me to reweigh my laundry, which I did. My laundry weighed only about 21 pounds. I told corporate this, and sent pictures of the bags, explaining and showing there is no way this is 66 pounds. Most of it was baby clothes. They told me I would have to let the "sudster" come to my house to reweigh the clothes! I couldn't believe their response because this would obviously not be safe for me, and no matter what it seemed like they were going to take the "sudsters" word over mine, even though i provided evidence the clothes don't weigh 66 pounds. It's just upsetting they allow their employees to rip people off, and don't offer any resolutions, besides the person who ripped you off to come to your home. It's just insane. No response from Sudster for the past 24 hour period. Customer service through the live chat on the app last informed me that the Sudster was "pinged" earlier in the day but that there was no response. Now there is absolutely no one available live through the app and likely no one working in the evening to provide support. At this point, I assume that my entire bag of clothing is gone, which is a big problem while I'm staying at a hotel in Miami.
Not sure how Sudshare would fail to have even the bare minimum of customer support. When your clothing, or in this case, virtually the entirety of your wardrobe disappears, it is not a matter that can wait until someone at the company casually returns to their laptop after a weekend break.
I will be seeking damages for sure. Sudshare looks like it is being run out of a garage and definitely not the well-funded company you would expect.Initial Complaint

On January 7, 2023 I places and order with Sudshare. They assigned me and employee name "Dee". This employee arrived and I handed him my clothes. Two days later this employee was to return my clothes to me. Upon receiving a app message that my clothes have been delivered. I arrived to my front door to see that they have not been delivered. When inquiring about my belongings I was informed they'd an investigation. It took a week or more with no response so I reached out only to be told they are not responsible for my belongings and to create a police report to report the employee. I would prefer no one use this companies services therefore lack of response and responsibility when it comes to the people the so called want to help. I had used SudShare once previously and had a great experience. The second time was December 2022. It was a terrible experience.
The originally assigned sudster wasn't available and there was a last minute switch causing a 1 day delay. The next assigned Sudster was non-communicative from the outset. They wouldn't communicate when they would/did pick up my order, so my clothing had to just sit outside for 2 days.
Then they didn't let me know which day or any idea of what time they would be returning my order.
They sent a message asking to forgo the plastic bag wrapping as is their usual custom with orders. I said ok.
When they dropped off my order I was not told that it had happened.
My clothing smelled like smoke when I opened the bags.
I sent out 3 full bags of laundry and only got back 2 1/2. I notified SudShare through the app of the problem. I eventually came to find that at least 7 items of clothing were missing.
SudShare was was slow to respond and suggested I misplaced my own clothes.
Over the next week it was an email back and forth with their lackluster customer service team. They offered me credit in FUTURE service if I made a meticulous inventory of exactly what was missing with internet links to said clothing items. This was just bizarre.
Needless to say I'm pissed off with them for gaslighting me, losing my clothes, and then ignoring me. What am I supposed to wear? Who's going to replace my clothes? That's hundreds of dollars to replace everything.
I am appalled. They are virtually unreachable.Initial Complaint

1-8-23, I had a VERY negative experience in Portland, OR !
Placed first order, and received texts updating me on the pick-up & drop-off. When I got home on the 9th, the nicely presented bag was filled with neatly folded and very damp clothing. The "senior" customer service line wasn't taking calls, did I want a call back? I pressed 1 for yes, but never received a call. Later on I got texts from 'Catherine' in Support, promising they'd pick it up and rewash/dry everything the next day at no charge if I placed another order (which I did that evening).
I left the bag outside my door before 8:00 am on the 10th, received no update texts and when I called the line (during business hours, even on the East Coast) it was again not available, did I want a call back? - still no call from them. I texted 'Catherine' asking for information, but got no response at all. And when I got home, my bag was still there, still filled with the damp folded clothing as I'd left it in the morning
I want a full refund - the extremely bad communication, and failure to follow-up and remedy their rubbish performance as they promised left a very poor first impression. You can bet I'll be spreading the word to everyone I know (and anywhere I can) about my negative experienceInitial Complaint

Transaction was on 12/27. We've used this service several times before. We switched over from Happy Nest when the stopped servicing the area I was living at the time. We were thrilled to find another service with more affordable pricing. This is unfortunately the 1st service that was a problem. Every other time we were extremely satisfied with the "sudsters" servicing our laundry. However, this time we believe someone stole over $1,000 of our clothing. My fianc and her daughters clothes never returned. We were brought 7 bags, 2 of which were not our clothes. We contact customer service to notify them of the mix up. They told us to leave the bags outside. They were picked up within the hour. We then continued to ask where OUR clothes were....generic responses "we're looking into it.." over and over again. 4 days later, nothing. No update on what's been done or any information on where I clothes could be. We were charged $147.00 for 91 lbs - this was an overcharge too as they claimed that we had 8 "oversized" items that required separate loads. This was completely bogus since the largest things in our laundry were towels..So not only was I overcharged...our clothes have yet to be returned and she had to go buy new underwear and clothing for herself and her daughter.Unfortunately at this point we have no other alternative but to file a police report, have my attorney file suit and continue spreading this experience to all social and media outlets available. I will also be contacting a couple friends of mine that are local reporters to shed light on this company to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else's family. ONE LINE SUMMARY:
After my clothing was stolen by the person they sent to pick up my clothing, Sudster says that they are not responsible for the theft of my clothing.
MORE DETAILED VERSION:
I had 39.4 lbs of laundry picked up by the person Sudshare sent to my home. That person stole my clothing and would neither reply to me nor Sudshare. Sudshare wrote that I should file a police report, but that they aren't responsible for the stolen clothing. They wrote that they are a "marketplace" and that they don't hire the person doing laundry, even though I have no information or choice about the person doing my laundry. Because I have no choice over who cleans my laundry, I believe it is their responsibility who cleans my laundry. I believe that it was their negligence in choosing someone safe to clean my clothing. For that reason, I think they should reimburse me for the 39.4 lbs of clothing that were stolen.Initial Complaint

recently had an issue I had contacted about & was called on phone by support rep as requested. I was told they'd get it taken care & would hear from them the next day. 2weeks later & still not fixed & no contact rither.. When contacting support again & not only did they IMMEDIATLY disconnect & close the chat 2x with no reply but continued to say there's nothing to be discussed. I asked to speak to the orig rep or ***************** refused to get me a supervisor. They would also say they cant do anything without proof of what was said etc which i sent them a few times. They would also then assume the chat was done at random times & leave the chat but also say "if any other issues please let me know so I may gladly assist" which I'd respond but each time I did they wouldn't reply! Then within2hours I get a text from a Manager saying they're closing my account. So why when I requested a supervisor or wouldn't they do so when obviosuly there was one there & instead just turn this into a bigger issue than needed to be. I replied by email asking for a call to at least explain things & after sending proof as they asked for. Habent heard anything since. Now a week later I get email claiming to be the owner but from the general email with a picture of a delivery of mine complimenting me on it & how it looked great and thanking me and saying how "it's great to have me in their team" yet supposedly the already and have closed and restricted my account as I can't log in. I've tried to reply to it asking to speak to them hopefully and get thei fixed and straightened out but no reply once again. Last thing I want is to have issues let alone having to contact them almost daily for an issue I was told would be fixed and after 3weeks has not only to them have it turned on me and make me the bad person and in the wrong when I'm contacting them for help and can't seem to get that. I set up a laundry service for my brother in ********, **, with Sudshare. The laundry was picked up on Thursday 12/15. On Friday 12/16 they deemed his clothes unsanitary and refused the cleaning. They said the clothes would be returned and as of 1:30pm on 12/22 they still have not been returned. They stopped all communication with me in regards to this, saying I don't have an open chat. There is no open chat because they stopped the chat without proving any answers. There is no number to physically talk to someone.My brother is a disabled veteran who needed those clothes, even if they didn't want to wash them, they were still important to him. Laundry came back dirty and smelled of smoke. They would not refund. They would only force me to pay to have it done again and if it passes inspection they would refund me. I asked if they would inspect it first as I didn't want to have to risk paying again and waiting longer for possibly dirty laundry. I tried the credit card company but they would not refund because the service was completed. But the service wasn't completed it was given back to me dirty and smelled of smoke.
