      I had 6 certificates for nights to use at a Marriott. They were to expire June 30, 2022. We booked a Marriott in Miami to arrive June 23 and departing June 29, 2022. About 3 days before leaving I contracted COVID, along with my family as well. So I felt the right thing to do was cancel the trip figuring why expose others to COVID, figuring Marriott would work with me and extend the certificates a month or two.. Well, I figured wrong. I contacted Marriott and they refused to extend the certificates. I am in total disbelief they would take this approach. I am also a LIfeTime Titanium Elite member. I was dealing with M. P., Corporate Liaison at Marriott in which she would not budge.....I even copied President of Marriott . This truly disappoints me so much that I am stopping the use of my Marriott credit card to a minimum as well.
      A sad day.

      This is pure hogwash. I guess they wanted me to keep the reservation, go to the hotel and be coughing all over the breakfast buffet United Airlines did understand and allowed us to change the flights.......why couldn't Marriott do the same. I am truly disappointed and will favor other hotels in the future.

      I am extremely disappointed in Marriott. I guess we should have kept the reservation, go to the hotel and cough all over the breakfast buffet. United Airlines understood and allowed us to re-schedule. I will direct my future hotels stays to other brands.

      My Marriott Bonvoy membership free nights expired (let’s just call them canceled) my 3 free nights without so much as an email or a call. When I tried to use them before they expired, the “dates were unavailable for point use.” However, there were still open rooms for purchase during our requested stay. Even more, we tried every weekend for the majority of the summer-nope! No apology on their end.
      I use their credit for all daily purchases and looked forward to our accumulated vacation stays.
      I called their customer services to try to resolve the issue and never received a call back, email, nothing.
      I expected more from the Marriott group. Switching to another card- not worth it if it expires before you can use!

      The hotel needs some serious renovation. I stayed in **** and **** For three nights . The pool surround is moldy and the glass o above the pool is opaque and cracked. The rooms bathroom had mold down by the commode. They ran out of soap and brought cheap bars of soap. The **** was missing one soap dispenser. Also both adjoining rooms had cigarette ***** on the floor. The beds used to be wonderful. Now they at HORRIBLE! Shame on you Marriott Oort Corporate.

      Desk representatives are rude and disrespectful. We were promised a government rate with our government I’d’s. Once we arrived, we were told the rate we were promised is now 14 dollars a night more. When asked why, they said we didn’t have a work order. Then we questioned why we were promised one thing and then told another. Then another lady came up and we went through it all over again and then she came back and said the rate for the room would now be 49 dollars more than we were promised. When asked why again, we were told that that’s the rate. Told them it was not what we were told and to cancel the reservation, they said there is a no cancellation within 24 hours, and then charged our card for almost 100 more than the rate we were promised the moment we walked out the door. Do not use this Marriot. These guys are crooks and sheisters. Skip this one and drive the 20 miles to a different one. This is the Fairfield inn by Marriott in Seymour, Indiana.

      Once we finally took our room and went up to it for the night, one of our rooms had clothes still in the drawers and the other room one of the outlets was literally hanging off the wall.

      Finishing stay at Fairfield Inn in Woburn, Mass. Just ridiculous. First the toilet didn't work when we arrived wouldn't flush. Requested help several times and had to fix myself. Stayed here 5 days and no room cleaned or towels replaced. Finally got some today. Staff seemed put out. Last night a person didn't show up for their shift and several new people had no one here to check them in. Hotel is dirty. Hey this morning got a call asking why were were still here. I said because we have a reservation for another day. The guy screwed up and ended our time early, but said he will fix it. The pool is open, but can't use it. No inspection from state on Covid yet. Oh, no toilet paper either for a day. Just got one roll. Thanks for the generosity Marriot.
      I stay in hotels for work and this is the last time for Marriot. This was a vacation trip with my family thanks for ruining this part of the trip. Letting my work know. All work travel will also go to another provider. A lot of people staying here saying the same thing. Poor staff look like they have ZERO training.
