1 starI purchased approximately $18,000.00 from Ashley Furniture in ************** in February of 2023. I didn't have it delivered until June due to the fact we lost our home to a fire on Christmas in 2021 and at the time of the purchase we were not able to move into our home yet. When the furniture was delivered, the leather sofa recliners middle cushion was raised approximately an inch and a half from the others. I called the manager, and he stated it was probably because it was new and needed to settle. Well after 3 months it was still the same, so I called them once again, they said they would send an email to the service department and have someone call and come out and look at it. Well that never happened. So back I went to the store, once again they said the sent them another email. I did receive a call from someone, I couldn't answer the phone because I was at work. She left a message saying it was from wear and tear??? I'd only had it for 6 months, my husband and I are in our 60's, there are only the 2 of us living there and we don't jump on the couch. LONG story short this has been going on for over a year, no calls, nobody had come to look at it and when I went back once again the other day, they said my warrantee was up and there is nothing they can do. ALSO they owe me over ****** which has been in the mail since March!!! They have pictures of the cushion, I spoke to one of the general managers who happened to be in the store he agreed it wasn't right, but he said "sorry there is nothing we can do it is out of our hands" I said what are you talking about, this has been going on for over a year!! I'm not asking for a new couch all I want is for someone to fix the one I have! AND I want my **** money they owe me!!!Review fromLili G

1 starI purchased a recliner on 7/27/24 and paid $2,242.49 before taxes, ten days later I saw that it was selling on Amazon for $1, ****** supplier was Ashley. I went on the Ashley website and saw that they did a price match where it states that if you see the same item on Amazon they will match the price, you have to do it within 30 days. I followed the instructions through the chat feature and was told that Ashley in *************** was privately owned and I needed to call them for a price match. I did so, I was told that they would refund me $77.50 as they did not charge me for a delivery fee. I was told they were matching their online price of $1,999.99, and the caveat was that I needed to go to the store to pick up my refund. I feel so ripped off, but shame on me I should have done my research and not trusted blindly. I told the young man on the phone that I was not going to spend my gas to get the $77.50 refund, told them to have lunch on me. The moral of my story is ASHLEY is false advertising. 1 starMy complaint. Please Read it will save your ****.Ashleys years ago used a 3rd party claims ***** Upon purchasing our $5000 dollar couch set, our salesman sold us on their protection plan for a small additional cost. It covers everything we were assured. Even over a several year period. From A-Z. Well upon using furniture the stitching was coming out on the side facing the wall, we had no idea there was a problem, until we rearranged the house it was noticed. Contacted Ashleys warranty **** "the one they no longer use". They said it was not called right when the damage had happened, we said we didn't know it was happening because we couldn't see it because it faced a wall. We had to fight many emails with this company and many pictures. They requested. They did not honor the replacement policy for our couch. OK. a year later we bought a $3000 plus mattress needing replacement just over a years time, same hassle pictures and countless emails. after 4 months they replaced the mattress. We went back to Ashley Recently to look for an end table; while speaking to the salesman we told him about our past issues with buying, he was like oh no, and told us Ashleys now does in house warranty complaints because that company was getting too much bad reviews. So, he had us resubmit all our pictures to the new Ashley in house warranty area. This salesman assured us our stuff would be replaced, like it should have been. We contacted them as advised. We heard back from Ashleys in house warranty section, and they said they also could not replace it due to time used. I was like this should have been replaced years ago during the first issue. 1 starI would have given zero stars rating if possible.We purchased a book cabinet that was delivered today. We had it delivered in the box, what they (Ashley) call threshold delivery. The delivery team brought it up the stairs into our living room. We assembled the cabinet ourselves. When we were finished and were placing a shelf on its pegs, we realized the holes for the pegs were not aligned; the holes on one side were 1/8th of an inch higher than on the other side. When I called Ashley Furniture in ***************, they told me I had to pay $100 to have the defective item retrieved, and then pay another $60 for them to deliver a replacement. I called Ashley corporate; they confirmed what the local store said. So, we paid $60 for a defective item to be delivered, have to pay $100 to have the defective item retrieved, and if we were foolish enough to get a replacement, I would have to pay an additional $60 to have it delivered. I do not recommend purchasing from this company. If you receive a defective item, you will have to pay to have it retrieved. They will have the money you originally paid; you won't be refunded if you don't pay. It is unfortunate. The staff at the ************************************** was (is) wonderful, but the company's policies regarding returns are ludicrous.Review fromVickie P

1 starI just purchased a sofa Within 24 hours we realize the comfort level was not going to be good for someone with back issues. I tried speaking with Ashley customer service and was told by no means can they do an exchange of return even within 24 to 72 hours. I don't find this to be customer service friendly. I would think ******************************************* selling furniture comfort would be a big issue and within a reasonable amount of time and exchange could be arranged so long as the item is not damaged in any way.There are listings online that says if you're not completely satisfied within 72 hours contact the store or customer service. ******************************************* fails to clearly list anywhere in their store or online that returns and exchanges are not allowed.... Yet this is buried and paperwork which makes it very convenient. In addition your salespeople are sales people.... They have no interest in your comfort your satisfaction ... In the business of furniture....they are just interested in the sale..... When they should be telling customers please take your time because returns in your exchanges are not accepted.The customer service line is basically a "No" line.. it really doesn't matter what you're calling for if it doesn't have anything to do with damage they are not going to assist you however they will transfer you to another department that will also tell you no.FYI.... I purchased from lazy boy and have not been satisfied, and they jump to help me do an exchange This is very disappointing as much money as Ashley makes.... They are definitely not in the business of customer satisfaction, by no means Now knowing this I will definitely not purchase from Ashley again. I I definitely want to make sure that all customers know my experience and to be where prior to purchasing from Ashley furniture as I will be posting this on other social media sites so others will know.Review fromCourtney J

1 starBad customer service experience with a staff member at the **********************, ** location on 6/26/24. I called and a female answered. I had a sectional delivered on 6/21/24. Unfortunately it was facing the wrong way. I had called that same day and was told someone would contact me to pick up the wrong sectional and schedule a delivery of the correct one. After not receiving a call all weekend, I called Monday and spoke to someone. They took my info again and again told me someone would be contacting me. Again, I didn't hear from anyone so I called on 6/26, as I didn't want to be penalized for this new couch that needed to be returned being in my home too long. The young lady who took my call was quite rude! When I explained my situation, she immediately moved to blaming me for accepting the delivery and told me I would have to pay a pick up fee, which neither of the other two ladies had told me. As I had explained 2 other times, my daughter was present when the couch was delivered and did not realize the sectional was actually facing the wrong way. That same day when I realized it, I called immediately. For my first 2 calls, at least the employees were friendly. On this 3rd call, she rudely told me I signed the drawing when I purchased it. I told her I was aware but I didn't draw the pic and it wasn't on me to understand a drawing. I explained what I wanted and, yes, I signed the picture because I assumed it was what I wanted. I told her it should not be my fault that the picture was drawn incorrectly. There was then a very long pause, to where I finally had to ask if she was still there. She never said hold, though I could hear the background noise on that side. She just responded that she was putting in the correct order and then she put me on hold without letting me know, there was just music in my ear. When she finally came back and was finishing the call, she just abruptly and rudely hung up, no thank you, have a nice day or anything. Terrible customer service!Review fromTracey S

1 star12/18/22we purchased a reclining sofa from Ashley ******************** and it was not what we ordered right away I called the couch plugs in to the wall the salesman assured me it did not it has a battery pack that charged so it did not need to always be plugged into the wall the pic I have looks rediculous I wanted them to come get it I was not happy with it they offered me 20% off instead we agreed never made good on their promise also we got a bed and mattress from them for way over price of what any other mattress store was selling for also complained about not getting what we asked for wanted the cool mattress but we did not get that we got the sweaty hot one and told tough nuggies you stuck with it Didnt ***** their comfort warranty my mattress is so uncomfortable I wanted to switch first day even when I was told had to sleep on it for 30 nights before I could switch it out then I switched it and still didnt like it was told 30 days had to sleep on it so after that 30 days was told already switched it once had to keep it they do not ***** their promise of a good night sleep I wish they would come and get this stupid cotton buyout of my house its not even worth ******* rip off cheap scares how do you sleep at night I have been communicating with the creditor for Ashly ******************** they claim that you never said such things so Im a liar and my husband lost his job for almost a yr so we could not pay for this crappy ******************** but now we are being sued o hope your business closes down shame on you Ashley ********************Review fromLouise S

1 starDealt with Ashley when they first Moved to **********…bought a Sofa & two Recliners Never had a problem …this past April we bought a Mattress…it is The Worst... All my Experience with Mattress we never ever had s problem….nothing wrong with our old mattress..we r elderly …the box spring and mattress were to high..big regret getting rid of it.. This mattress. Squeaks when u get on it and off it..it sags at my side of the bed … I have read the Reviews…it appears the customer….is being sent through a maze of Confusion ….Ashley should know ur product….the sales Rep…we’re polite….and easy to deal with…once we received the mattress …and slept on it ..the nightmare began ..we want and deserve a Full Refund…..The Agencies that are Available to us ..we will use..for our protection. 2 starsI bought the warranty from Ashley Futniture Store for 5 years for my bar stool chairs (4) on 11/03/2020. Theyve become dangerous to sit on as screws have fallen out of the legs and the bars across the bottom keep coming out of the leg of the chairs. Theyre not stable. (Wobbly). 1 starI placed my order at the Maple Shade Outlet Store March 8th. I was informed in April that the parts were in the warehouse but due to a technical glitch, they could not schedule the delivery. When I called back, I was told the furniture was not at the warehouse (they did not confirm what happened to it) but that it would be ready end of May. I called at the end of May to be told that they gave the furniture to a different customer. I requested to talk to the escalation team, I gave them 5 full business days to call me back. I feel like I've been stolen from. We paid $2,700 in March for furniture that I have no idea will ever be delivered.
