      My experience over time has revealed serious concerns with how GEICO manages policy issues, which raises questions about the reliability and accountability of their systems and customer service.First Incident:Recently, I received an unexpected email from GEICO stating that they were adding an unknown individual to my household policy. I called GEICO in a timely manner to address the issue, was assured it would be resolved, and assumed the matter was closed. Soon after it, I was shocked to receive another notice stating that this person would still be added to my policy. I called again, signed the necessary NDE form they sent immediately, and believed that was the end of it. But to my surprise, I later received a bill reflecting a policy change I never authorized, including a partial refund and an amount due all stemming from a system change that should have been stopped during my first call.Notably, this individual was never part of my household, and the original notice came five months after my policy began, making the situation even more puzzling.Second Incident:In another troubling case, GEICO unexpectedly canceled my policy and refunded my premium without any prior communication via email or text. I only became aware when I noticed the refund in my bank account. When I called GEICO, they claimed they had received a mailed letter requesting cancellation, which they forwarded to me. The letter was a brief, two-line note simply requesting policy cancellation and a refund. Shockingly, GEICO acted on this letter without confirming its authenticity or verifying the request with me, the *************** both cases, my attempts to engage with GEICOs customer service were frustrating and unproductive. Representatives did not seem empowered to resolve the issue or take responsibility, and I was left unsure whether these were cases of system error or outright negligence.

      I have been a loyal customer of ********************** for years. I had a flat tire late Sunday night. I called GEICO to use roadside assistance since I had been paying for it for years. I was told that a tow truck was coming. After waiting almost a hour I was told that they couldnt find anyone to come out to help me. I was left stranded on a dark road in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, 3 nice police officers helped me. Please do not waste your money paying for roadside assistance from GEICO.

      Contacted Geico about my windshield damage that occurred on the highway, and I have full coverage on my automobile. Geico referred me to Safelite in ***********, **. I set up an appointment to have my windshield repaired, but the ******** inspector stated it was beyond repair and had to be replaced. Needless to say, Geico did not take that information from a specialist into account. After contacting Geico again for help with the replacement, they stated I had to do the inspection and upload the pictures of the damage. In other words, get the runaround to postpone the replacement of my windshield. They also don't provide any contact information about their regional office, really poor customer service. I've been with ********************** for 20+ years and never got this type of service before. I believe it isn't the company, but the representatives you come in contact with, that don't want to do their job their paid to do,

      this company is absolute dog water. rates are 2-3xs anyone else. customer service wait times are ********* then you get disconnected being transferred to a different department since no one can help when you are connected after doing their automated menu options. strongly suggest using every other company available before dealing with this s*** show of a circus

      They **** put stuff on your insurance you dont even have nothing to do with and then you have to pay high insurance they need to be reported to somebody

      Today I paid off my mortgage in ************ and was informed about my status Escrow account with Homeowners Insurance with Geico. At this time I learned that they were currently charging me $2,930 annually which is DOUBLED the usual premium. I am so disappointed and regret I didnt have knowledge of any ability to negotiate escalating fees, since is not easy with Escrow. I now feel I was not treated fairly with high price, as a young home buyer I was not aware of incredible increases, I only wanted a great home and trusted these resources offered then. A ****** learned for me and my wallet! I am switching carriers ****.

      I CANCELLELED MY **** POLICE BECAUSE THE RATES KEPT GOIN UP EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PERFECT DRIVING RECORD. IN ADITION I WAS BILLED ***** FROM A CREDIT COLLECTION STATING THAT MY POLICY WAS CANCELLED DUE TO NONPAYMENT. HORRABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY ARRIGANT. THEY DEAL WITH ****** COMPANIES. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

      I filed a claim for a broken window in my car. No one ever reached out to me in regards to the claim. I reached out to them and was told that it would cost me $500 out of pocket, which is more than it would cost me to get it fixed out of pocket. I asked why since I only have a $50 deductible. I was told that with the first claim you pay $500, then in the future all you have to pay is the deductible. I have used them to get my windshield fixed in the past and all I had to pay was my deductible. What is the point of having insurance if you have to pay out of pocket to get something fixed. I have been with Geico for years, but will be looking into another insurance company going forward. This company may be cheaper than some other insurance companies, but it is not worth it if they won't cover stuff. I would NOT recommend youing Geico for your insurance.

      Was hit from behind by a Geico insured motorist. He was driving a *******. Destroyed my vehicle and the one in front of me. Geico made NO effort to offer me a rental or any contact. I lost wages from work and no vehicle for approximately 6 weeks. A year and a half later, still no offer to make me remedy the inconvenience their driver created. I would have given 0 stars but not able to.

      Beware these insurance companies are a scam. Geico and the other parties insurance decided to go with arbitration instead of court. This allowed them to go around an at fault ticket and ***** parties had to pay out for their own car and trailer. This raised both of our rates so they could profit more than me going to court and a judge deciding. F*** this scamming insurance companies.
