  I have been a loyal paying vendor of The Knot and WeddingWire for several years. I recently had a nasty review left by a mother of a bride. It was all lies and very destructive to my business reputation and to me personally. I filed a dispute and was treated with such poor customer relations it was atrocious. I was never allowed to speak to someone about the dispute on the phone and nobody would help me. Not even my account manager! This was so stressful and all occurred around Christmas 2022. It ruined my holidays. Right before the negative review was posted, I had actually referred a new vendor to The Knot and Weddingwire. I essentially got them a new vendor who is paying them lots per year to be on their sites. They didn't even care about that. Never even got a thank you! Nobody was interested in helping me and NOBODY had my back! It was the most disgusting experience I have ever had as a customer. Also, if you have read their press releases etc. they are a very WOKE company. Their employees are rude, unprofessional and do not care about their vendors. They told me that I had to prove the review was untrue. I had the burden to prove that this review was all lies. How do you do that? I didn't record our verbal conversations. I was able to provide some documentation and they took the review down during the dispute process. But they put it back up even when it was still under review. Do NOT waste your money or precious time with this company. I have now ended my contracts and will never be affiliated with these companies ever again. And yes, they do have fake leads all the time. It's very well known in the wedding industry that they are doing this.

  Wow I don't have to type my complaint just read everyone's reviews and I fall under that. The knot wedding pro they are scammers this business will go down if we all fight to bring them down . We can do it

  I was promised leads and a wider client base when I signed up with this company, but it turned out to be nothing but empty promises. Unfortunately, I had signed a one-year contract and was unable to get out of it. The few leads I did receive were not genuine, and one even managed to freeze my payment processing account, causing problems for future payments. Despite voicing my desire to cancel, my account manager insisted that I had to complete the contract. While they did help improve my profile, it was not enough to make up for the lack of results and the wasted money. By the end of the year, I had not gained any clients and was still facing issues with my payment process. Avoid this company at all costs.

  I have been with the ******* **** and knott for 5 months . I have not received 1 client from them . They told me I would be making 8000 a month. 5 months later NOTHING . I have heard they are referred as the Mafia.
  I have had better luck with my business with ****** ads and advertising on my own.
  RUN, HANG UP ON THEM DONT FALL FOR IT.

  The Knot is a scam. Theyre using marketing and harassment tactics to keep me and other photographers and videographers paying a ton of money only to get fake profiles to message them. They have stole money from my small business as well as others, to keep theirs up. They will not let me or any others out of any contract after they LIE and manipulate you into signing with them. If you want to support a photographer or videographer, please DO NOT USE THE KNOT.

  This company is beyond words a big scam! I signed up back in September not realizing it was 12 month contract. They promises me client’s but each potential client that comes to you are all scams. My 1st client I had ended up being a fraud & sent me a fake check trying to hack into my bank account. I called the WeddingPro company on who I got this client from. They said that this person has nothing to do with them as a company. I found out this client I had was a scam & fraud when I traveled 2 hours from my home to check out a potential wedding venue. The lady their who showed me the wedding venue informed me that she got reached out to another wedding planner company who she thinks has the same client as me. Cause they where looking for the same date. After the tour I went home and called the other wedding company to see if we might have accidentally got the same client. After talking with them on the phone. We both got the same exact client and we both got this person through WeddingPro (or the-knot-world wide). The fact that we both got the same person at the same time. Just shows me that this company is not being honest with me or others. For a company that is “to be so big,” should have more safety measures to keep these small business safe from frauds or scammers. They just want your money. I beg you, don’t do the same thing I did with signing a contract with this company. They are wrong! And don’t want what’s best for you or your small business! They are very selfish.

  Worthless advertisement venue. All leads are worded the same as if they are from members of the agency itself. They force you into a year-long contract that produces zero income and will not cancel the contract.

  Weddingwire has been the absolute WORST form of advertising that exists. 95% of their leads are fake bots, not real potential clients. When I called them to express my concerns, they completely dismissed me. I would NOT advertise with this company ever again. They are a total SCAM!
