Horrible experience ordering invitations and printed materials from The Knot. They claim to make it easy and it has been terrible in reality.
It’s impossible to contact customer service. They are not responding to any of my voicemails or emails.
There have been zero updates on why there is a delay on getting my order processed.
I paid a lot of money to them and have received nothing. I will be filing their charges as fraud with my credit card company.

I had been an advertising vendor with Wedding Wire and the knot for many years before they merged into Wedding Pro. BEFORE the merge, a local rep for each site that would check with me via phone call before the annual renewal. If there was to be a price increase, it was a personal process where they made sure I was aware of, and approved the price hike.
In November 2021, I received an email with a request to approve a monthly price increase for my ads from $200 monthly to $260 monthly. I approved the request.
In November 2022, They automatically charged me $378 for my monthly bill. I received no request for approval.
I reached out to my rep to make them aware of the error. I told her that I do not approve this monthly amount and can we please sort this out. She said, "To be honest, I don't know why they are charging you this. I'll get back to you."
3 weeks later, I received word from her saying it was an automatic update based on the market pricing in my area. I told her I need to downgrade because I do not have that amount in my marketing budget. Long story short: This was finally addressed in April, not by lack of trying on my end. I had to take all funds out of my bank account to stop them from continually pulling the new amount. I settled with them in order to start with a revised contract that was within my budget.
I can no longer see my leads due to their errors. I am so fed up!
I have been paying the revised monthly amount for two months now. I am still getting notifications that I am past due on my payments because apparently the customer service department and the billing department DO NOT communicate. I have been paying my current monthly amount, and when I call billing to clear things up, they say, "OH yes, I see that you settled in April. Let me get in touch with my supervisor and see how we can clear this up." No reply for days on end. I follow up. They say they are still waiting for the supervisor to get back to them. Meanwhile, I am blocked

I am shocked what this company is doing to small venders! I signed with them at the end of February 2023, and of course I was told that I’m going to have a lot of weddings and clients right away and a lot of couples are gonna book my music band (I provided live music services). The costs of being on that platform is super high for me (312$ per month) as I just started my business. But what I wasn’t told after I agreed to sing this subscription is that it’s gonna be impossible to cancel it if smth happens.

So smth happened. After 2 months of being on the platform I got an emergency situation with my family and I had to close my business. I’m from Ukraine and now I have to leave the country to help my family and I’m even not sure if I’m coming back. So of course I needed to cancel this subscription. But after reaching out to my manager all she said is that it’s impossible to cancel it and you have to pay each month the whole year, cause you signed a contract.

Of course I told her that I can’t provide any music services anymore so I will not be paying 312$ each month the whole year for nothing! Then she said that I have to delete all the videos of my band from my social media accounts, then they will check it and decide if they can cancel my subscription.

I did that and after I got an answer: “I’m sorry, looks like you’re still in business, all vendors who are truly out of business are deleting all the social media accounts. Sorry, you signed a contract, sorry for your situation but you still have to pay us every month”. I was shocked! I would never signed up to this platform if I just knew how is this scammy Wedding Wire platform working!

Now I deleted all my social media accounts just to prove them that I’m out of business so they can cancel my contract. And I’m already waiting for their reply for more then a week, and all that I got is the reply that they changed my manager. What?

And btw, I was on the platform for 2 months and all I got just one scam lead.

Read most of the comments here, and for the most part I'd been getting fake leads and even called some of the numbers from leads. Usually goes to voice or can't be reached. I had gone with the Knot a while back and canceled my contract because it was the same thing, fake bots that I would get.

Tried one more time with wedding wire, figured maybe they change, but once again, they are going on there and putting fake leads and this time they don't want to break the contract. Not sure how this company is still up and going. I'm going to try and find some more info and see what can be done. after so many complaints on the BBB you'd think someone would start going after these scammers.

I confirm what everyone else is saying about WeddingWire / Knot being a scam and providing fake leads. How do I know this? Anyone that has contacted me has never replied to my messages and when I told WeddingWire I never get a response, magically some more leads would come in after but they were fake as well. Additionally, I track website referral traffic to see if I get traffic that converts to a paying customer. You guessed it, nothing. This whole company is a scam and should be shut down by authorities.

When I try to cancel the agreement, they fight tooth and nail to keep stealing my money. They say they do not guarantee leads or bookings and therefore it's ok to pay WW the privilege to be on their website with no return on investment and sending you fake leads. During the sales process, they'll talk about all the traffic you'll get and show other customers that have high conversion rates. I started in December and was told December - February is the highest activity on their website. What did I get with the highest activity? Fake leads and no response from any customer inquiries. You pay $400+ a month for this. I pay half that on social media a month and get 7+ REAL leads per day that CONVERT because people love the business and past customers and planners recommend my business.

This is a scam with fake leads that charge hard-working, small businesses with small margins. It's disgusting and shameful. The authorities need to shut down WW/Knot.

This is a business you never want to adversities with. If you are a small company or an individual all that happens, is they take your money and hold you to a 12-month contract they know will not help you. The areas are too large, and you never receive inquiries for your area some inquiries are just people clicking buttons.
. The company will not work with you, they will not call you back, they will act as if you dropped off earth.
Please say yourselves the trouble and money find another way to reach your couples. the Knot and Wedding Wire are thieves to small companies.

I would rate them at a zero.!

      Wedding Wire - pure SCAM!
GO, GIVE THOSE SCAMMERS-LIARS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Wedding Wire doesn't care about you or your business, everything they want - just to rip you off. I've been a full time photographer for 10+ years, used to work with magazines and European customers. I paid about $1000 for the year subscription and got ZERO real leads from Wedding Wire for the whole year. All I got, just 2-3 messages/calls where the person insisted me to give him my legal first and last name to send me checks, because "he wants to pay for a photographer now as a gift for his sister's wedding, but currently he's in Mexico and his secretary will send a check...bla bla..." More over, Wedding Wire representative keeps calling me every week all the time after year subscription got expired and I cancelled it. Also, I'm getting annoying emails from reps to continue subscription, and I keep blocking them. Also reps guaranteed me while signing me up, that 3000 brides looking into their photo-pages per day! What? And I got ZERO leads with my spectacular portfolio? Complete SCAM! LIARS! HAVE PROMISED LOTS OF LEADS WITHIN THE YEAR - GOT NOTHING for $1000! They don't even look at fake leads they copy/paste to their vendors. In Julia N******** Photography I got lead as "we are looking for officiant minister..." Also, observe a date "July 02,1206" Look into all screenshots, similar fake emails as "jennifersmith23@"

I spoke to the sales person Dawn. I was told I could expect to receive up to 70-80 leads per month.
As that isn't happening (by 5 months in I received mostly spam or fishing emails. Totaling 8 leads to that moment) , the account manager Chrissy, was "providing tips" to get more leads. She then mentioned "7-8 leads per year" which shocked me.
I had written notes of what was "sold" to me of what I was agreeing to be paying for.
I'm continually told "I am in a year long contract" and zero resolution to date.
I dealt with another account manager Hannah. She too, telling me there is nothing she could do, as I was in a contract.
The funny thing... I stopped payment until I have resolution.
I was called by the account payables person, who then told me "I was not guaranteed leads or bookings and that I was paying for advertising" Which is completely false.
Their entire business model is "a lead generating website"
Now, I have three people, telling me three different things. I stopped payment through my financial institution and have contacted the BBB.
This type of company deserves to have it's doors closed as they prey on small independent owners.

      SCAM STAY AWAY!!!!
I really thought this company would help generate more business for me during my quiet months, WHAT A JOKE!! They suck you in with there BS on how I will do great blah, blah, blah and all of their promises of getting me tons of business??? However, every lead I have followed has been a dead end and FAKE. I am $1000.00 in at this point and a small business owner. What kind of company scams people like this??? I have called every lead and when i call they say they never signed up for the knot or its a bogus number, I also texted and emailed. Not a single response? Hmmm? I have a website which gets me business every week and they told me that I need to listen to videos of these sales idiots on how to respond to clients?? What? I would not be getting business on my own if I did not know how to respond to clients! I believe I've gotten about 11 leads in the past 5 months. None of the names match the names from this website. I did not sign the contract and I am trying my best to RUN FROM THIS AWFUL NIGHMARE! HOW DO THESE PEOPLE SLEEP???

I discovered that the leads they are sending are generated by bots or scammers. The leads that have come through had bad numbers and emails. After discovering this I found out they've been scamming others. COMPLAINT ON BBB "When I was on the sales call with you going over what my business needed, size of my business, leads expected, I was excited when you said I would get an average of 116 brides viewing my information PER MONTH based on the package I selected with you. We talked about how that would be perfect because if I booked even 2-3 of those, that would be perfect and yet nothing near that is happening."
PHOTOGRAPHER 2016 & 2019 "2019 Update: Wedding Wire has recently merged with *********** – however, both of these sites have given similar experiences to many of my peers. Is *************** sending out fake leads? Being a vendor with Wedding Wire may leave your pockets empty with the taste of dissatisfaction as well. I’d like to share my personal experience with being a paying vendor on *************** for the Hampton Roads, Virginia Area." ***************************************************************** PHOTOGRAPHER ON REDDIT "WeddingPro Wedding Wire The Knot full of scammers I finally got to the end of the yearlong contract I got myself into last year. The year was full of useless scam inquiries that wasted my time - on top of the money wasted on being a part of this supposed advertising site."
