      James Allen has been great to work with. I originally ordered the 7-stone anniversary ring, but it didn't look quite right with my engagement ring, so I ended up sending it back and ordered the 9-stone instead. I really like that you can send pieces back if you're not 100% satisfied as most jewelry stores force you to keep or upgrade. It took less then 10 days to receive both orders. The refund took about 2 weeks because they have to reinspect the piece to make sure the diamonds are what they sent you. The customer service was good. The representative was friendly and answered all my questions. The important thing is the ring is just perfect! It glitters so nicely, and I've received so many compliments. I would recommend James Allen to all!

      I really wanted James Allen to work for us, they had some good reviews and I went for it. After 3 weeks, we had a small diamond fall out of halo so we sent it back for repair. They repaired it for no charge but it took 8 weeks and no communication. When we got it back, I took it to two very reputable local jewelers to inspect it and they even showed me up close zoomed in that the ring had 7 prongs missing on the halo due to over polishing. I was adviced to get this ring replaced. I have reached out to James Allen seeking reimbursement for the setting so that I can keep the diamond and get a setting somewhere else. I’m not sure how the quality assurance team missed this TWICE, but I’m very very sad about this. I’m hoping they will reimburse my 1600 for the setting/halo so I can get the diamond set at another place that will put the proper time into it.

      I absolutely LOVE my ring. The setting is gorgeous and stone that i chose exceeds my expectations. The ring did take about a week longer than was estimated but they communicated regularly and clearly about the delay. I will gladly purchase from James Allen again!

      I purchased a ring from James Allen on August the 12th, I received my ring on August the 22nd, I initiated a return, and a return label was sent to me on the 25th. My payment was made into two different methods. Bank wire and credit card payment. I received a refund confirmation email on the 13th and the credit card payment was refunded. Here we are a month later October 13th I still have not received my refund.
      I chat with an agent and also made a call on September 26th that lasted 7 minutes and 34 seconds. Today which marks a month, I called to find out that there are not any notes on my previous communication with Allen and that an email was sent out to me on the 13th requiring more information regarding my return which I never received nor was mentioned to me in the couple of times that I myself called Allen after the 13th.
      It took a day for Allen to get the wire transfer, but I am now on week 4 and I have not received my money back yet.
