      In order to be able to place my review I had to give it a star, but this company does not deserve any stars!!! 0 stars! Horrible, unethical, false company! Since the first day after the installation we notice that was not working properly, they send the technician who installed the equipment, he was clueless about everything, he didn’t seem to care, so he only said everything look good at their end, and he did mention that the service was not good for streaming or gaming, we only had one day!!! Every month is the same, after they charged us and supposedly renew our 25 mbps, the internet is super slow and we only get the terrible service for only two days, after that we don’t have internet at all, we have a speed tester and we checked every day and shows that we have 0.00 mbps, we called endlessly without getting any proper help, they always give the same excuses that we have exceed our data even if we haven’t use it.
      This is unacceptable!!!! We just want to cancel the contract immediately!!

      I wish i could give them zero stars. they told me to cancel my account that i had to pay 385.00 when i only had the internet service for a few months. They told me that I signed a contract by giving them my credit card number but i never physically signed anything, also I never seen any where on their website that they had me under a contract. If i would have known that i wouldnt of even considered them in the first place. After arguing and telling them I was going to report them they then said that they would up my usage but i told them no i wanted to cancel because service was less then parr. they then told me that they would pay half of the cancelation fee. then after again telling them i would report them then they came and said they were going to waive the fees and cancel my internet tonight, i will be watching my bank account for any unauthorized charges.

      They told me if I bought the equipment there would not be a contract but when I went to cancel they told me I have a cancellation fee

      As many of the other reviews indicate. Will tell you that service will work in your area and then it doesn’t reliably and that if you have the “protection plan” (discounted for at least the first month), if problems there won’t be a charge and that wasn’t true. Within a month, at least four times of no service and decided to change providers and then told it was a contract situation with over a $300 cancellation fee, but they could discount a monthly rate, if stayed with service. NO mention of contract and cancellation in the conversation when setting up the service, which is SO dishonest to not disclose. Didn’t seem to understand there really wasn’t service and that my research (had been new to location), had found a reliable provider that was half the cost of that discount rate, so it made NO sense to stay with them, even at discounted rate and have poor service. I told the representative I was speaking with that I felt sorry for him that he worked for such a HORRIBLE business. It made me feel better. DO NOT use Hughes Internet.

      Zero stars would be more accurate for the rating as I was lied to during my entire 3 weeks of experience in dealing with this company. Firstly, I was told that vpn and video conferencing would be no problem and later found out when cancelling that this is a known issue. Secondly, when I tried to cancel a week in, the operator told me to hang into the service for 30 days as the connection would become faster over time and they have a 30 day guarantee. Calling back 2 weeks after that, I was told that the connection speed is what it is starting 24 HOURS after installation and that they didn't have a 30 day guarantee.

      Hughes net promised best coverage at my home address. I have called countless times since installed and Hughes net had not done anything regarding reimbursement whatsoever ever. Have made false promises and inadequate customer/ technical support can’t use Wi-Fi or internet as promised
      Rep is now saying I signed a “contract” and will not waive fees at all. I was promised better coverage and have had to call countless times and do all the the “resets and more for them. They are now saying they see a big issue and they will “fix the issue” yet I’ve been told this over and over and Issues are never resolved.
