      Buyers beware. I had 1950's old wooden windows. The house has siding and I had just purchased a house with siding on it. Little did I know the siding was not done correctly by previous owners. I had the new windows install. Pulling furniture from under the windows for last Xmas cleaning. I swa the paint and water damage at bottom of windows. I contacted Capital Remodeling. They told Me. I had no J6. So water getting behind siding. I had the windows financed 5/13/2022 in the amount $9,799.00. I contacted them. They sent someone to caulk where rain comes in. I asked about the damages to 6 windows. Problem not resolved. So buyers beware make sure your siding is install correctly.

      I attended the home show at the ****** **** in January and spoke with the representatives there. I told them I had inherited a condo that needed major renovation, entire kitchen, floors etc. We scheduled an appt for April 17 as I had several trips out of town upcoming. I was surprised I had received no confirmation calls or emails as is typical for companies these days and morning of I received a call asking if I was still keeping the appt, I said yes, now that I knew someone was still coming and that I had to drive to the address. I was then interrogated by the company rep aksing did I own, did I live there, I advised I was the owner, I had inherited the unit, I was asked who lived there, I told them no one was living there but I was paying the condo fees and it was my property. The company representative then advised that they were a high quality company and only provided services at primary residences and not for rentals. At no point in time did I suggest the unit was a rental.
      I had explained the circumstances and my ownership to the reps at the home show. I was absolutely appalled that a company would refuse to first of all honor a prior appointment but also on the basis that it was not my primary residence. It should frankly be of no concern what I intend to do with the property though I have no intention of selling my second property. It seemed that the representative assumed that a single woman owner of two properties would not be able to afford their company. I found the entire conversation offensive and possibly illegal.

      Purchasing windows from Capital Remodeling was a pleasant experience. From our first meeting with our sales rep, to seeing our installed windows. Our rep had some good ideas and suggestions, and was knowledgeable of the product and installation process. The installation crew was efficient, detailed, courteous and clean. The finished product has provided us with increased energy efficiency and improved curb appeal.

      We had 18 windows in our home replaced by Capital Remodeling and we have been SO HAPPY with our choice! The windows are beautiful and we've noticed a difference in our energy bill, too! The installation team was incredible - so quick and thorough with the replacements, they cleaned up so well afterwards you couldn't even tell 18 old wooden frame windows had been ripped out! They also answered all of our questions and went through use and care before they left. We love Capital Remodeling and would recommend them to anyone looking for new windows!

      Everyone was professional and polite. They worked around our vacation plans and installed a whole house of windows including our new ginormous bay window in one day. I was told a competitor uses the same manufacturer but capital has a better warranty. When our bay window had a leak they checked it and had a new custom replacement pane installed super fast. 5 stars !

      Great service and product from start to finish. Responsive/communicative, clean, and efficient. Give the condition of the old windows, I thought for sure we would be charged extra for repairs to the underlying frames would be needed and cost extra, but they fixed it at no additional cost. Recommend.

      Thank you Capital Remodeling for installing our windows. The windows are beautiful. The entire process was very smooth from in home consultation by Ryan who did a great job explaining everything. I highly recommend this team of professionals. The new windows definitely contributed a lot in bringing my AC bill down .

      Sales representative was friendly and professional. I had windows replaced. The workers were very nice and professional. Installation was completed in one day. The workers disposed of all the old windows and clean up was done.
