      Be sure you are 100% confident in your decision before deciding to go with this company. All I wanted was to receive a quote for windows. After 4 hours of the representative being at my house throwing numbers around and trashing the other companies I had received quotes from, I decided to move forward with an understanding that I can cancel for any reason within 3 days. The very next day I tried to cancel. I was led to believe that I could just reach out to the company and cancel, however now I am having to jump through hoops and mail a physical letter to their corporate office stating I want to cancel. On top of this, the addresses listed on their website and on the sales agreement they gave me do not match. Several addresses, including my local location, do not exist. The whole situation is sketchy and anyone using them should be wary about trusting them.
      P.S. The representative scuffed up several of my walls with the window samples they brought in.

      From the sales presentation to install the process went smoothly. Good communication throughout. The install team worked fast and efficiently. Windows are really good and my home is way more comfortable.

      When we first decided to get windows, as part of the process, someone from Capital Remodeling came to count windows with us and verify the type of windows requested for each. Despite this, when the installers came they came with one window less and explained that the miscount must've been due to the fact that one large window was being changed to two double-hung windows. I immediately called to complain because duh, why would I want all but one window updated?! The guy on the phone blamed me, so I got upset but what was I to do at that point, other than not recommend the company to family and friends and wallow in my disappointment?! I left it alone. But nowwww, three years later, the real issue is that bugs (boxelder bugs, to be exact) are getting inside our house through these beautiful new windows! There is a hollow space to allow the window to be opened all the way if desired and there is where these ugly, flat-bodied creatures get in! Yuck! Thankfully they are harmless but ugh, nerve wracking! BEWARE!! Of miscounts and bug entry!

      I got quote for the bath room remodel and kitchen remodel. When the quote was given the sales guy johnny showed pictures and we chose the shower head floors etc.. together. They never came the date they were suppose to come instead came several weeks later But when the products came to the house it was not we were had picked out with the sales guy. The manager was no better he kept promising me one thing and send me in writing that he will fix the issues at no cost as it was their fault. When it was time to get it done he refused to do it. I have emails to prove. I was going to take them to court over this as after spending way over $20,000 + It was heart breaking at the cheap stuff they had installed. The shower head did not even have a telephone shower on a walk in shower they installed. There was no way to wash your legs etc.. It is pretty terrible.
      My recommendation is always take pictures and ask them to email it with the contract if not they do not write the part number they just say shower head etc,.. and they could bring any thing and install. They even damaged the counter tops and damage to the bathroom door etc.. Which they never fixed.. So i would never recommend this company.
      Furthermore, None of the locations listed exists. I wanted to see the manager they said he was in Gaithersburg. I went to the Gaithersburg location and it has not existed in a long time. So it is kind of a fraudulent shady business. They did not want me to come to the head office either. So i will not be shocked if any of these places really did not exist in reality.
      I was pregnant and was ready to have the baby hence I just signed the papers to get it over with as they were threatening if I do not sign the papers for the financial dept saying the work was complete they will fine me late fees even though the work was not complete and I was not happy with the job .

      We used Capitol Remodeling to install new windows on our townhouse a few years ago. We were so pleased that we contacted them to replace the windows in our new home. They quoted is a price that was $20k less than their competitors and they took great care in removing and replacing the 100+ year old windows in our historic home. We will use them again.

      We had 26 windows that desperately needed to be replaced in our new-to-us, 30+ year old home. We interviewed 3 different companies and decided to go with Capital. They had a great product, great reviews, and a terrific foreman and crew. The windows look beautiful and they not only keep the cold air out in the winter, they keep the house nice and cool in the summer. Another plus: we immediately noticed how quiet our house was after they were installed. And everything was all done in a day. We'd give more than 5 stars if we could.

      I scheduled an appointment to get a quote after telling them my wife would NOT be there (her schedule is less flexible). When the manager called to confirm, I told them again my wife may not be available. They would NOT move forward without my wife. I explained I did not see why she had to be there to discuss a quote on window replacements. I was told I was ignorant for not understanding that she had to be there. I own the house and my wife is not even on the mortgage. I don't appreciate 1) their inability to provide a quote to just one member of our busy family 2) being called ignorant by a manager.

      Fantastic company to work with. Was very responsive to all my questions and to just getting the work done promptly. The windows came out perfect and a wonderful upgrade to modernize my home. Will reach out for a future remodel as well. Thank you!
