  Terrible experience with a kitchen remodel. Had to ban the first installer as the work was terrible. He chipped and damaged cabinets, ruined our drawer pulls by breaking screws off, all installed unevenly. The next installer was better but the gas range wasn’t centered under the hood and tile work…at a minimum I’d expect the range to be centered. It’s also installed crooked so sits at a cockeyed angle. Countertops cut around it so no fixing. There’s a gap behind the range so it doesn’t sit against the wall. One end of the countertop is actually 1/4 of an inch higher than the other end. You can see pieces of wood wedged under the countertops to try to hold them up. Cracked cabinet pieces and trim slapped over everything to try to hide the flaws. So many more issues. Quality of cabinets is substandard. While they’ve tried to fix a few things, the largest issues are permanent unless we rip out cabinets and countertops. The person overseeing the install said I should have asked for a new installer earlier despite my almost daily emails detailing serious issues. Not at all what we paid for. We were offered $1,500 off of a 75k job for things we’ll have to live with and look terrible. We now have to lower the double wall oven to an uncomfortable height as it’s installed so close to the refrigerator the door is dented from hitting the oven handle. They did get a new refrigerator door but the idea that they designed things so poorly we have to accommodate it by uninstalling an appliance and making it lower than recommended specs beyond frustrating. The original design placing these appliances so close should never have been approved for install. They said our designer had done hundreds of kitchens when he admitted to us that he was very new. Would never recommend them.

  I asked a quote for 10 windows and scheduled a date but was later called multiples times in order to confirm that appointment and to make sure my wife was going to be present. I confirmed multiple times I would be there. The lady insisted "that's not what I am asking, is your wife attending the 1 hour session"? These guys have the time share approach to get your bucks, without mentioning very impertinent.

  Tried to get Capital Remodeling to come out and give an estimate for redoing the windows on my new home. Spoke with Brittany and than the manager Nikki who said that my husband (who lives and works overseas) would have to be present no matter what - even though I was the only owner on the home. And when asking to talk with the manager got the runaround that they'd have to have the assistant Barabara call back. Shady company with extremely sexist policies. Go to companies with better customer service.

  I order my windows within six weeks they installed them. The same day they installed my windows there was a small cracked one of the windows,but as soon as I reported it they replaced it within a week. Am was so happy about that.

  We had cabinets put in and have had nothing but problems. The company didn’t account for our fan that has been in our kitchen for years so our cabinet door hits it. Our dishwasher doesn’t close because of the measurement of the cabinets and they came back and left it unhooked up. When I talked to them about the fan, they told me they couldn’t do anything because they “wouldn’t have caught that.” How do you not see a fan in the middle of the kitchen ceiling. We were told if anything was measured incorrectly it would be fixed on their behalf. Well the fan was accounted for and neither was our dishwasher. Both of which were there prior to, and were there when measuring was done. The job seemed rushed and now I’m basically being told that everyone else who did work in our kitchen is at fault. We are paying A LOT for this work and I feel as though the company wants to take their faults and place them elsewhere to be done with us since now we are having to make payments. We had a lot of faith in this company and they really let us down.

  The initial consultation was professional and stress free. The consultant provided an option that fit the changes we were looking for in our kitchen remodel. We were told what to expect and what we needed to do (example: pick out and order our desired range/oven). The next steps played out as we were told. Cabinets were delivered and soon after the demo work was done (1 day) and the installation as well (about 1.5 weeks). Minor issues arose such as a scratch on a cabinet, but were quickly fixed by Capital. Our kitchen came out just as we hoped and greatly improved the look of the most used space in our home. We love our kitchen!
