      We scheduled installation of 2 pieces of equipment. Our window was 1-5pm and our delivery was made after 5;30pm. At arrival, we asked where the second piece of equipment was because only one piece was bought in. The delivery person insisted that we only purchased and had 1 item scheduled for delivery. After some back and forth, he pulled up his handheld device and saw that we had in fact ordered 2 pieces. He then told us, its not his fault and he'd not installing anything. No apology, no asking to resolve, but instead, TOLD us that we will have to pay again for another installation because it is not his problem or fault that the hood we ordered wasn't on the truck. RUDE. My husband told him that we would NOT pay for a second install when someone on their end didn't load it on the truck. At that time, I asked the delivery person, WHY would we be at fault for their issue? He literally looked at me, turned to my husband and began speaking to him. I asked him if he heard me talking, you'd think he was deaf. He again, looked me square in the face, ignored me and kept doing whatever he wanted IN MY HOUSE. I said, "so you're blatantly going to ignore me and not acknowledge I'm speaking and you're standing in MY HOUSE, installing equipment I have paid for? He AGAIN ignored me. I told him you WILL NOT disrespect me in my own home and disregard that fact that I'm speaking. He, in fact, looked at me and then continued with turning to my husband, telling him he would install. I reached out to the company Monday morning to file a complaint and asked for Service to contact me. I have a text that confirms someone will be calling. No call. I reached out Monday afternoon for follow up. No call. I reached out again on Tuesday. Absolute silence. If it is company culture to employ individuals that disregard women, disrespect customers their homes, and no follow up to even hear the complaint... then it should be posted that they only accept male purchases. UNACCEPTABLE

      Purchased a Beko refrigerator August 2023, purchase was easy, even setup for delivery was easy. Delivery day came everything went smoothly, we didnt have the fridge installed when it was delivered but once opened the wrong fridge was delivered, opened the wrong direction. Called and scheduled another delivery and pick up, all of that went well. The fridge didnt get installed until April 2024. We were very happy with it for several months than all of a sudden it stopped cooling. I called and was directed to call Beko US for service, apparently there is only one service company available to do the repairs and they are 2 hours away. **** US even called Bray and Scarff in ********* to try and get their service department to help but they wont since we didnt buy their extended warranty. You would think in this situation after spending over $1800 for a fridge and **** calling them they might make an exception and help out. I can tell you when we start our new kitchen I will look elsewhere to purchase the appliances. Were going on a week with no refrigerator and no sign of it getting fixed anytime soon.

      Absolutely terrible customer service! Whenever I called, the service **** was rude and not helpful. After three trips out to my house with parts to fix my washer, it never worked. They promised a follow up phone call the same day but never heard from anyone. After 2 months without a washer and terrible service, I purchased a washer from another company! I will never buy anything from this company again!

      ***** and *************************** just delivered a new GE washing machine. My experience was excellent. Both men were courteous, exceptionally helpful in their knowledge of the product, and were patient in answering all my questions to be sure that the machine would function properly. ***** took extra care to secure the drain tube, and balanced the feet of the machine.

      My 98 year old father bought a refrigerator in March of 2020 and also purchased an extended warranty. The vegetable bin had frozen egetables. The water line is frozen. There is frost buildup in the freezer which apparently blocks the flow of air into the refrigerator area so the temperature hovers around 50 and sometimes warmer. We have had multiple vists from service folks. The refrigerator is not working and I cannot leave my father to deal with it. If the appliance is not working it needs to be replaced. This is a bit ridiculous.

      Do NOT pay appliances from Bray and Scarff. They do not stand my their products, paid extended warranties and their service department is weeks behind.

      I am hoping that others read my review before they make the same mistake that I did. My wife and I are doing a major remodel on a home and decided to use Bray and Scarff to purchase our kitchen appliances. The sales manager, Chris G****, who has since moved to the Frederick, MD location has been absolutely horrible. In trying to coordinate installation, he at first did not return calls. Once we were able to reach him, the install date changed several times. The latest change has delayed the installation beyond our move-in date, so we will now be living without kitchen appliances for almost 1 week. We were informed of this 1 day before the installation date. I made multiple calls to the corporate office and was assured by the operator that someone would contact me regarding my concerns. Two days have passed and no one has reached out. So sad to see what was once a beloved family-run Washington, DC business reach new lows. I went to the Better Business Bureau to view reviews and see that I am not alone. Buyer beware - do not do business with Bray and Scarff. Sorry that 0 stars is not an option on Yelp.
      Update 1: So we called Chris and demanded that the appliances get installed earlier. He said he would try. He calls back and says that we got moved back onto our move-in date except as they were loading the truck they noticed that the box for the range was damaged and therefore the range is damaged. They are now going to deliver most of the appliances on the move-in date. Other appliances will be delivered within a week. I hope.
      Update 2: So now off the schedule again. Unbelievable! Called B&S Delivery and found out that Chris never scheduled us for our move-in week. All along, it had been scheduled for week after. Dishonest company with very poor customer service.

      Purchased a n induction stove and had problems in 6 months with 1 burner. They sent a tech out who said “ They should have sent someone else out, I don’t know induction stoves.” He ordered parts and came back and put them in. When my wife turned in the stove it tripped the 40 amp stove breaker and the 200 amp main breaker. I called and the dispatcher told me I had to get an electrician out before they could send a tech out. I convinced them to send the tech back and he ordered all new parts again. Meanwhile I called GE and their tech said he has a wire shorted. GE ordered parts and I am waiting for them. Customer service is poor at best. Asked Candice to call me back which she never did. The girl who answered the phone told me that Candice was being generous by putting someone on hold to communicate a message through the girl I was talking to. Will NEVER go to Bray and Scarff again.

      I’ve had a terrible experience. I purchased a Speedqueen washer and dryer set for $5000 with Alysha. A few days later she sent out her crew to install the machines. I noticed puddles of water seeping from the bottom of the washer. It's really bad as you can hear the water squelching when moving the washer all over the floor as well as the leaking. This was careless to ship/install a faulty item and not verifying proper installation. Huge inconvenience and headache!

      Terrible customer experience. I purchased $19,000 of high-end appliances and would never recommend them to anyone. After the purchase...miscommunication, no follow up or returned calls, missed appointments with no notification and additional delivery charges never discussed ($1000.00). I am still waiting for my range with no faith that it will happen as the salesperson says. Salesperson and manager could care less in trying to make this right. One star is too many.
