      The Harry Gutter Helmet was purchased on 7/14/20. I called Gutter Helmet regarding the gutter helmet being clogged and preventing proper water flow, as advertised. During that time, I was informed that under their new policy, the consumer would have to pay a $50 charge for the techs or those responsible for correcting the issue before we could receive service. When I spoke to the representative at that time, I informed her the contract does not state this, the warranty from 2020 does not state this, the salesman did not say this, and we would not have signed up for this if there was a charge every time you came to fix an issue. She stated that this was something that started in 2023. I informed her that this charge should not apply to past customers since it was not a part of the contract. Based on the contract and warranty, we (consumers) cannot have anyone else other than Harry Gutter Helmet fix these issues. We cannot allow anything to come in contact with the gutter helmet. I spoke to a young lady from headquarters, and she told me to read my warranty. I told her the warranty that I printed at the time of my purchase did not include a $50 charge. I asked her what page she was referring to; she informed me that she did not have the warranty in front of her, but I would need to contact the manufacturer, and they would need to send someone out to take a look at my parents' gutter helmet. The warranty specifically reads that if any clogs, gaps, spacing, or misalignments that cause animals or birds to enter the system occur, contact your installation dealer for service. Now the installation dealer is requesting my parent to pay $50 up front just to send someone to fix it. This has been a total headache. There have been terrible storms, and this gutter helmet is still clogged and possibly causing water damage to my parents’ porch. DO NOT use this company; they want you to honor the contract and warranty, but they will not honor their own contract and warranty.

      Terrible customer service. AI generated ***** is not helpful. Charge $100 just to schedule a repair. There is no one to speak to directly. Waiting months for repair. No promt on system to address repair needs.

      HORRIBLE AND UNRESPONSIVE COMPANY FOR SCHEDULING AND COMMUNICATION. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND THEN CEASE COMMUNICATION. Sales Reps are nice until the contract is signed then they become UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOWNRIGHT RUDE LACKING ALL INTEGRITY AND CREDIBILITY. I signed a contract ONE WEEK AGO, PAID MY DEPOST OF $1,000 and literally NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO SCHEDULE. I am DISPUTING THIS FRAUDULENT CHARGE AND WILL TAKE TO COURT IN ADDITION TO FILING WITH BBB and OAG office for fraudulent business practices.

      Our conversation didnt happen until I filed this complaint and threatened to cancel my contract. That is an extraordinarily poor business practice. I had no communication or a portal to know when my installation was scheduled. Weather conditions is not an excuse to not communicate! Even the salesman, ** ******, was sassy, unprofessional uncouth and disrespectful towards me when I exhausted all other efforts to communicate with not even so much as a return call from your toll free number. This is completely unacceptable and future customers should absolutely be aware that a week or more will go by after you sign the contract before they will hear anything about an installation date. You MUST communicate consistently and return calls within 24 hours to customers. This is VITAL! There are too many fraudulent companies who exist to solely scam people. You charged my deposit of $934.00 and then vanished until I threatened legal action against your company for fraud. This is completely unacceptable, and my one star rating stands as of this moment. They better do one heck of a job on the installation next week and not jerk me around. I absolutely will NOT stand for it in any form.

      I give this company 0 stars. I just read the other reviews and agree with all except the few fake good reviews. Please do not use this company. I regret using them to the highest degree. After they installed the gutter helmet our roof has continued to leak. Every time it rains water pours into our house. I have called customer service many times they either don’t answer, are very nasty and dismissive, or hang up on you. This is a horrible company. With water pouring into our house it has taken them 4 or 5 weeks to give us any appointment. I paid them 4 weeks ago to come. I don’t know what else to do. So I am writing this review. Horrible company!!!

      As with other consumers leaving a review, this company fails to honor the Gutter Helmet Lifetime Performance Warranty. They promise to clean your gutters once a year-lie. They promise your gutters will never clog-lie. The lifetime performance warranty is guaranteed to allow free flow of water without clogging-lie. Instead of honoring the warranty, they want to charge $150 to clean your gutters- true! I paid $6,125 for lies! Find someone else to install a gutter system. Gutter Helmet doesn't work any better than any other system and IT WILL CLOG! As other consumers mentioned, I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Customer Service is non-existent these days. If companies won't honor warranties, they should be heavily fined or put out of business! It's all a scam.

      Gutter Helmet gutters are supposed to come with a "no clog" lifetime warranty. Part of Warranty includes cleaning your gutters once a year, at no charge. These gutters do clog up, they are NOT maintenance free. Now, they told me they've changed the contract! They want me to send them pictures of my gutter system, and it will now cost me $150.00.
      I will also file a complaint with the Attorney General because this is a scam.

      I bought these gutters because I thought they stood behind there products and there main thing is if it gets plugged up they will come and clean it out. I called them because it was plugged up and they wanted me to climb up a ladder and take a picture. I’m 70 years old I can’t be climbing up ladder and that’s not what our contract says. So they said then it’s going to cost me 150.00 dollars to have them come out and unclog my gutters.

      The Warranty for this product is a manufacture's warranty. we are not the manufacture. As the dealer for this product we have the right to charge a warranty assessment fee to send a crew to the customers home to determine if the customer's issue is warranty related. If it is deemed to be warranty related we, per our agreement with the manufacturer will preform warranty related service without any additional fees. if the issue is not warranty related other fees may apply.

      Since we needed gutter protection from nearby tree needles, I contracted with Gutter Helmet to put their product on our house in 2019. As per their sales person, video, and advertising, we were shown and told that if the helmets purchased did not perform as shown, they would fix the issue. Ever since the first rain we had after installation, their product has not done what was promised. The issue we had was that the fir needles that fell on the roof and helmets did not blow off with the wind and did not wash off with the rain. GH’s local maintenance techs came out and cleaned off the offending needles on the edge of the helmets. They also said that this was a very common complaint, but we had never been told. Our local office in Federal Way told us to call them whenever we needed that service to take place. We even set up a schedule with them for their cleaning off of the helmets for twice a year at NO CHARGE. Our contract with GH had no charges listed for any cleaning. It was part of the agreement.
      Now there is a $50 destination fee, plus whatever other fee they deem necessary to come out to our house. I’ve had several conversations with the local GH and national. The rules have changed and I/we have not been “grand-fathered in” with our old contract. There is a stubborn and almost discourteous attitude when talking to the big-wigs at national.
      Since Gutter Helmet Company has made it perfectly clear that they are not interested in keeping their word, I will do (and have done) whatever I personally can to show and tell to any interested persons that want a gutter cover precisely how Gutter Helmet treated me. I feel very cheated and feel it is my responsibility to warn others. It is my belief, based on my experience, that Gutter Helmet is a disingenuous and dishonest company.

      This customer has a manufacture's warranty for this product that he purchased. As the Dealer for this product we charge a warranty assessment fee to look at customers issues. if the issue is deemed to be warranty related then we will preform the warranty work with out any additional charge to the customer. The manufactures warranty does not include cleaning the customers roof and the exterior of the gutter helmet.
