      I purchased parts from them and was sent the wrong parts. I sent many emails and followed their many requests to prove they sent the wrong parts. At first they told me they would deduct ***** from the ***** I spent for the original shipment. I threatened to reverse payment and they promptly sent a shipping label. They received parts over two weeks ago and have not refunded my payment nor will they answer my emails. After reading many reviews of this same occurrence Im looking into a class action law suit. Do not trust this company!!

      I ordered something from there website on 1/23/25 and was told 2 day shipping. I’ve seen label created since 1/23. I’ve reached out multiple times through email, and phone and gotten hung up on and emailed with an automated response. Upon for discovery, there is multiple people with the same issue I am having. I needed this part to make it to my grandfathers funeral

      Order# ******-162431 for 4 brake rotors and brake pads was placed on Oct 16, since the initial email which had the order number I havent received any other information.When I try calling the phone number provided, is saying it is disabled/ not in service. I did try emailing and havent got any response either. The order was for a set of 4 brake rotors along with 4 brake pads. It is really frustrating having your vehicle at the shop and waiting for parts that you dont know will be delivered to you and when. I hope BBB will follow up and make sure it isnt a scam. Thank you.

      I purchased Front and Rear Strut and Coil Spring w/ Shock Absrober + Front and Rear Sway Bar Link Kit - Set of 8 order number:************. I received the parts and noticed I was missing the front struts, driver and passenger side. I call the customer service number and I accidentally entered the wrong extension and immediately routed to a rude customer service agent named “Marc” when I asked if I could be transferred to the correct department for my issue, his response was very rude and unprofessional. He was not interested in attempting to help in any way. I ended up having to dial again into the correct department. I am now being told that an investigation needs to take place to simply ship my missing parts that I paid for. Come to find out this investigation will take 10-14 business days. My vehicle is still in the shop waiting to be fully ready. The communication between the customer service department and myself has been horrific. I do want to thank “Marvin” he has been the only agent I’ve spoken to who is actually willing to help me out. He understands the frustration and customer expectation of receiving what we pay for. Unacceptable turn around time, makes a client feel as if I am lying about not receiving my parts. I should have researched this company prior to ordering my parts as I read these BBB complaints from previous customers, I can say I will won’t be recommending Auto Buffy nor will I be ordering from them again. I need my missing parts ASAP and not after 10-14 business of “investigating” the issue. The case is simple, the shipping associate at the warehouse simply did not ship my entire order. I am expecting a quick resolution to this.

      On June 12, 2023, I contacted Autobuffy(AB) to notify them that a set of airbags that I purchased from them some 10 + months earlier for my 2014 Ram pickup truck, had malfunctioned and needed to be replaced under the warranty program. I was informed It would take some time to get the replacement items from the warehouse to my door due to the lengthiness of the warranty process. I requested the option to purchase the parts again to expidite receipt of the malfunctioned items due to an upcoming road trip and ask that I be refunded the amount paid for the expedited items once all the requirements had be met. My request was approved and I purchased the airbags again but at a higher price due to a price increase, additionally (AB) informed me that I would have to cover the shipping charge to return the defective parts although there is no written policy that states this.
      Recently, I received an email from (AB) that they received the defective parts and a refund was sent to a Visa credit card I no longer own. They were immediately notified and instructed to send my refund to my ******** ******* card used for the expedited part however, I still have not received any refund at all.
      I am requesting my payment of $334.63 for the expedited replacement part & my shipping charge of $53.70 for a total of $388.33 be returned back to my ******** ******* card.
      My original purchase date for this warranty matter was June 12, 2023 and I've been emailing back and forth with (AB) ever since with no payment received.
      Any help you can give me to assist in receiving my refund, would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi There,

      The parts the were returned to us has been refunded. Customer chose to purchase the new parts instead of going through the normal warranty process. 

      We have attached the original invoice and the proof of refund. In this case, that customer do not have the old card anymore, they can simply call their bank and ask them to transfer the funds to their new account. We do not have any way to change the refund method as fraud prevention. All refunds will go to the original payment method. 

      Other customers with the same issue who closed their old accounts easily got their money transferred to their new accounts by calling their bank. Also, their bank never returned the money to us, meaning they still have it with them available to be transferred to ********* new account anytime.

      In response to Auto Buffy's statement, I am rejecting it for the following reasons. I contacted Auto Buffy (AB) before hand regarding my application for warranty replacement for 2 defective airbag parts, I purchased from them for my Dodge Ram truck. Since they had no express options for me to receive my parts for my now disabled vehicle, I asked if I could just repurchase the same part and be refunded the cost paid for those parts once the warranty inspection and approval process had been completed. The AB representative stated they needed to inquire if this exception to their warranty policy could be allowed. Some days later, I received an email that I interpreted as my request had been approved due to the instructions that I was being given. It stated " you may re-order the new kit now"  (See Attached) I was further told that I would receive my refund for these replacement parts (New kit) once I shipped back the defective ones. This was done at my expense. 

      Some time later, AB emailed me that they had processed my refund but the amount was for $286.82 which was the cost for the defective parts. My agreement with AB was to be refunded $334.63 for the replacement part I purchased. Additionally, the refund was sent to an old Visa card that had been cancelled by my bank some time ago due to an unrelated fraud matter. I immediately notified them of this but was not given any information on how to recover my funds as was explained in their statement provided in this complaint. My bank is currently investigating this matter but no guarantee has been given that I will have my funds transferred as AB states.

      Lastly, AB owes me for the shipping charges I incurred to return the defective parts. According to their policy, the customer would be responsible for shipping cost for any of the following reasons:

      *Customer purchased and incorrect part(s)

      *Customer need to make a general return

      Neither of these reasons apply to me. It further states that if the company sent out a bad part, they would give me "a flat out refund".(See Attached) 

      In conclusion, according to the verbal and written agreement between AB and myself, Ab owes me:

      $334.63 Cost for replacement part

      $53.70 Defective part return shipping cost

      Total Due $388.33

      If my funds are returned to me by my bank or AB, AB would owe me:

      $334.63 Cost of replacement part

      -$286.82 Cost of the defective part

      Bal Due $47.81

      +$53.70 Defective part return shipping cost

      Total Due $101.51

      Your concern is about getting a warranty replacement and our company just like other companies, is doing the same thing. The purchaser will be responsible for shipping the parts back for a replacement. 

      We have already refunded you the part that you have returned and we cannot refund you more than that. We do apologize.

      It was your discretion to purchase the new part and was not forced to do so. We hope for your understanding.

      Hi Team,

      Thank you for letting us know about the complaint.

      The customer placed the order through our website and contacted us about the parts claiming that we sent the wrong one. We have asked the customer to send the photo or the parts and it shows that we did send the correct one. We asked for him to send his vehicle details such as the *** to check the vehicle information. Upon reviewing, customer has a 2003 Ford ***** Super Duty Lariat / XL / XLT and the parts that he purchased is for F-250 only. These two car models are different. Please see the file attached for your reference.

      In line with our return policy, if customers purchased the wrong parts for their vehicle, they will shoulder the return shipping fee and it is outlined on our policy. **********************************************

       

      We will be glad to assist the customer with returning the product for a refund.

      On March 1 , 2023 I purchased a loaded strut set for my 2017 gmc sierra ******* After 1 month of driving a bushing failed on one of the struts causing it to hit my control arm when I brake and make noise. I've contacted the company every day for over a week and get the same run around that I will get a callback. I've left numerous messages. All I want to do is exchange the part for a new strut and send them the defective one but no one will call you back. Which appears to be their M.O. when you read their reviews

      I have called them at least 10 times and left messages. No one has called me back. If you call and act like you want to order a part and then tell them whats going they get you off the phone quickly and transfer your call to a voicemail.

      The part came from autobuffy and was filled by ******. See the attached invoice.  This is the typical response from Autobuffy on so many complaints online.

      They don't send the right item and refuse refund unless you remove your review. Once you remove your review they still will not replace the wrong item sent for the right item or refund. Check their 1 star reviews on ****** and ********** reviews. I ordered CV axles and received door handles.
