      Be careful about purchasing from this company. Investigate local installers prior to purchasing. Local installers refuse to work directly with Powertrain due to poor reputation. I purchased an engine which failed within 6 months, and less than 1K miles. Per Powertrain warranty department this was a known manufacturer issue. Company did replace engine, however, did not cover new install cost; which I had to pay. Powertrain defaulted to limited warranty language (4 months later); rather than step-up and cover full install, as this was a known problem.

      well i just ordered a transfer case from them, they were strict on me having a part number or tag off the transfer case to make sure i had the right one . i had the vin but they said it was not good enough. so hoping their due diligence is to insure they are getting me the right part . said 6 days to build 5 to ship. ill post later after recieving part as to quality 1883.00 for a rebuilt not bad .
      when 1200 used or 3200 from ******.

      This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The transmission i bought lasted 2,000 miles and this is what happened. The whole process took almost two months.
      Here we are, 4-18-23. The parts they sent to fix the transmission were the wrong parts. The mechanic shop is back, waiting for the next set of parts. The truck has now been down for 21 days with no end in sight.
      They have now informed me they are shipping another transmission to replace the defective one.
      It is now 4-20-23, and the transmission has not even shipped yet. I am now up $1,127 in rental car fees.
      It is now 4-25-23 The replacement transmission finally showed up on 4-24-23. Because the transmission took so long to get here, they can't put my truck back in the shop until Thursday, the 27th.
      As of today, my rental car fees are now $1,393.60. Now this has cost me $2,000 more than if I had bought a new Chevy transmission from General Motors. My truck has now been in the shop for a total of one month and five days from the time we filed the warranty claim.
      It is now 5-3-23 My truck was finally fixed on 4-28-23. I emailed Power Trans the following Monday with a copy of the invoice from the mechanic shop requesting my reimbursement of the $1,548 that I had to come up with. I have yet to hear from them, letting me know when I would be paid back.
      Getting the truck fixed took 33 days and cost me $1,880 in rental fees and $1,548 in shop fees. I will follow up here on how long it takes them to pay me back or if they even pay me back at all for the shop fees. I would have saved over $3,000 if I had purchased the transmission from Chevrolet.
      It is now 5-16-23, and I have not been reimbursed for the cost of the repairs that were included in my warranty. They told me two weeks ago that they would send me a check. I will report back when I finally get paid in full.
      It is now 5-25-53 I am still waiting to receive my reimbursement check. This company is a fraud.

      Awesome company. Very helpful and knowledgeable people. They have no problem answering your questions and customer satisfaction is a high priority for them.

      I really like this company installed several of their engines and transmissions, have had great luck their employees are really helpful when the freight companies mess up on resolving the problem.

      Absolutely love your social content! It's given me so much useful information about my engine in my 2008 F150. I haven't made a purchase yet but it's definitely happening with the next paycheck. Thanks so much for giving out the information that you do FOR FREE! The information and knowledge I've gained from y'all is extremely valuable and will continue to be put to good use in the future when I purchase my rear end and transmission for my truck and finally get it up and running again! Thanks Powertrain Products!

      They should not even get a one star. Honestly everything we had was pretty decent up until we had a problem with the rear differential. So we had bought a brand new engine ( engine had faulty spark plugs and wires which we paid extra for No Refund or replacement), the first rear differential was whining badly called there customer services was advised to keep driving it would go away and that fell off my car which caused it to seized up and brake my driveshaft. (thank god my kids were not in the car with me), they sent a second rear differential that is fault and is still whining and took it to a DINO shop which they sent them a video and paper work stating that it needs to be adjusted but the company Powertrain only wants to pay 2.5 hrs of labor. The one thing I would like this company to ask itself is how would you feel if your loved ones had to order parts from your company and they are having the same issues? How would you feel that your kids, grandkids etc are getting in vehicles that aren’t safe? Spent $9,000+ on parts and still not getting any answers or help because you all do not want to deal with your customers not cool.

      Approved my warranty claim in december - still have not cut me the check for repair work on the JUNK PRODUCT they sold. its now end of march, were really close to 4 months.
      I send about 1 email a week and get responded to about 1 time for every 4 emails i send - the response is some BS like the one below that i got 10 days ago. Unreal to have a giant corporate company and no even be able to pay its bills.

      - AGAIN - NOTE - that was sent over 100 days since claim was approved - also been 10 business days and no more info despite my 2 more emails and a call.

      Very Bad Warrantee department, promised everything via phone conversation but never follow through or pay a claim.
