Complete rip off - my total was more than 3x my quote. They charged 18% of the total invoice for fuel in addition to travel charges.
My furniture was delivers both damaged and dirty.

This company operates unethically and should face immediate scrutiny. From the beginning, they arrived ill-prepared, lacking the proper equipment and truck to handle a full house move. It seemed intentional, designed to stretch a one-day job into two, forcing customers to pay more. They never sent anyone beforehand to assess the home or provide an accurate quote, further supporting their predatory tactics.
Despite being promised three movers, only two arrived. Of those, one was unproductive and appeared either intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. The only exception was an African American worker who worked tirelessly and even warned me about the company’s deceitful practices. To make matters worse, my wife and I ended up moving half of our belongings ourselves because the movers were intentionally slow, clearly trying to inflate costs.
During the move, they dropped my fireplace and damaged a piece of it, which was infuriating. Near the end, an unvetted, random Hispanic man was dropped off to assist, adding to the unprofessionalism. After leaving my house, the movers deliberately passed my new home and stopped at a 7-Eleven to waste time, but I followed them and ensured they returned to unload.
Before unloading, the company required me to wait for a call to receive the “new” price—double the original quote. The representatives on the phone were rude and dismissive, showing no willingness to explain the charges. They essentially bullied me into paying the inflated price before completing the move.
This company’s practices are exploitative and dishonest. They are scamming customers and taking advantage of people during an already stressful time. Action should be taken to hold them accountable and stop their fraudulent behavior.

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. While the movers were inexperienced and smelled like weed (so much so that our whole house did so after) but polite, Randy was the worst human being I have ever encountered. He blamed broken and ruined items on me and my family rather than errors made by the movers and claimed that we couldn't complain because "we aren't professional movers." He also said “his movers aren’t cleaners” when we complained that they left black marks tread all across our halls and on my mattress. He questioned if we had a rug for them to wipe their feet…we did and provided blankets and helped them move items to speed up the INCREDIBLY SLOW process. In addition to the multiple broken items, the movers never once addressed items that were mishandled or the streaks they left all over the house. Randy blamed the heat and the number of stories my house was when we brought up how long they took, despite the fact that we had most everything moved to one level to assist and provided the movers snacks and water frequently. Randy was unapologetically rude and argumentative on the phone when we called to discuss the issues with the move. Additionally, he estimated our move would take 3 hours. It took 12 hours and the company held our items locked in their truck at each location until they received more money. Yes, we paid the extra…they had all my things hostage! It ended up costing 3x what he estimated and took 9 extra hours. While I was frustrated with the experience moving but overall pleased with the movers, Randy's misogynistic, antagonizing, nasty, dehumanizing behavior towards me and my mother left me shaking with anger and indignation. He tried intimidation tactics to wear us down on the phone and was so unkind and unsympathetic that I have to assume he must be trying to compensate for something severely missing in his life by taking it out on everyone else that unfortunately comes into contact with his company. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.

They don't deserve 1 star! They will rip you off and won't care how you feel. I was quoted 898.00 for my move by the time my items arrived; I was forced to pay over $3000 to get my things!!! I called the company and they said it took longer than expected and I has to pay for overtime NOT to mention they did not deliver all of my household goods! I had to hire another company to complete move. Workers were lazy and took several water breaks not to mention all the personal phone calls. They sent 3 guys however, someone was always on break. They purposely took their time and was in no hurry to get the job done. I had bubble wrap, mattress covers and furniture wrap for use. however, they used what they had and charged me for it. Absolutely, the worst moving company. I'd advise NO ONE to use this company EVER!!! BTW, they had the nerve to ask for a tip!!! I gave management an opportunity to make it right but, they ignored my calls and text. They should NOT be in business. They will hold you things hostage and their is nothing you can do about it. I am making sure that everyone I know does Not hire this **** of a moving company!

They are rip-off artist! who intentionally strategize the way they coordinate the services they offer/promise to deliver to customer so they can inflate there fees. They also will harass and threaten to leave your items or not take them off of the moving truck if you don't pay the additional fees they have trumped up. And they threaten to suspend/fire their workers if they do not leave the customers
household items at the storage unit on the truck, wherever if the does not the additional trumped up/inflated charges on demand DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The manager lied to me multiple times, The movers arrived 1 1/2 hours late, they arrived in a truck too small for the things I told the manager who stated that his bigger truck was broken. They used and charged me for supplies that I stated that I didn't want them to use and damage some items and did not pay for them. Missing screws and bolts and they did not complete the move, I had to pay someone else to finish the job.

Charged me 2x more than what i was quoted. do not DO NOT let them move a safe. Let me be clear…this is not the guys who was moving my stuff’s fault. i blame the people who run it. you can’t expect 3 guys to move a 750 pound safe with a regular dollies. As a “Professional” moving company they should have a mechanical dolly that can climb up and down steps. I should have known something was off when they said they would only charge me $250.00 more for safe, they didn’t ask me for picks of my safe my apt or my home i moved into.
Damnage was done to my walls and carpet due to my safe literally be dropped down the steps. (think about that a 750 pound safe free falling down steps) thankfully none of the movers were hurt.
other than the safe the gentleman that moved my stuff did a good job minus the safe. (again i blame the company for not properly giving the man power and equipment needed)
be carful what was a $800 job turned into over $1500 and damnage to my new house. i sent emails and called but been ignored.

I hired Pauly's Movers in early June and really wanted to take the time to prepare this review.
This company is a form of legal extortion. They provide you with a quote of less than half your actual cost. The quotes do not include all the fees and charges they apply at the end. I was provided a quote of 669.48 for a two-bedroom apartment with 1 truck and 2 workers. This is a reasonable and acceptable price hence why I agreed. My total payment at the end was $1500. I had no dining room furniture and my second bedroom was used as an office. (So light load)
The workers, even though they provided great service and had great customer service skills were late. Their supply cost is outrageous. To plastic wrap 1 mirror, I was charged 86.92. To drive my property 4 miles (from my old home to the new one) I was charged 228.22. Additionally charged 74.82 because I used a credit card. When I requested to speak with management about the whole situation. Management, and I quote, stated "I'm in the business to make money, if you don't like the prices that is your problem." I will NEVER do business with them and will make sure it is known about their shady business practices and post this review in every format that I can. Also, they damaged my wardrobe to the point, they had to throw it out as a screw penetrated out the wood damage.

Worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. So we hired them to move a hot tub, a lot of movers do not do this because it takes requires certain equipment due to the size and weight of the hot tub. However, I was assured that they could do it and had done a much larger hot tub the previous week. When the movers got there they barely brought any equipment to move the hot tub and the one dolly they brought had small wheels and broke within the first 5 minutes. The owners of the property had to lend them his equipment he had at the house which also ended up breaking. After moving the hot tub 10 ft they asked if they could roll the hot tub end over end. At that point I told them to just leave it where they had it and I would find a company that knew how to move it. The owner of the hot tub ended up bringing more equipment out and explaining and assisting them with the move which was successful to the truck. When they got to my house to deliver they essentially held the hot tub hostage on the truck until I paid the full amount for delivery. The price they give you is a scam, they over charge and over estimate the time before they deliver it driving the price up adding fuel charges and other charges that won’t be listed in the estimate but will be in fine print at the bottom. I read the contract multiple times to avoid an issue like this. Horrible business.

I helped one of my best friends & her daughter move a few weeks ago. I was assisting her move boxes for 90% of the time the movers were there. Majority of the movers did nothing but complain the ENTIRE time. Moving is stressful enough, you hire movers to help relieve some of that stress, not add to it. No one should be made to feel like they are an inconvenience when they are PAYING FOR A SERVICE. (Oh & I should mention they were provided lots of bottled water, soda, & lunch by my friend & her partner. They also only moved 1 average moving truck load of items). That was the tip of the iceberg. They completely broke the main pieces of furniture that were the entire reason she had hired them in the first place (including her daughter's bed that she had sent a pdf of to the company weeks prior so they would know how to disassemble & reassemble. The movers didn't even know this pdf existed as ownership never gave it to them). The move was literally 5 mi. down the road. When they arrived at the second location, they increased the cost of the move suddenly by more than $1000!!! & HELD HER POSSESSIONS HOSTAGE UNTIL IT WAS PAID. Much of my family has worked for moving companies. I have first hand knowledge of what goes into the average day for a busy mover & what truly difficult moves entail. This move did not fall into that category by a long shot. I am absolutely APPALLED at how my friend was treated. Pauly's Movers made what should have been an exciting day for her a worst case scenario nightmare. They broke the railing going up the stairs, scuffed & put gouges in walls in both houses without saying a word to her. I think what really is the worst part of this is she sent the company multiple emails (with pictures of the damage) and still has yet to hear back from them. Do not be fooled by this company unless you literally want to pay to be made to feel like crap & pay way more than expected for someone to break your things & destroy your house. Wish I could give 0-stars.
