See-thru Windows and Doors are a small business that's been around awhile, which probably explains why their level of craftsmanship and customer service is top tier. I have used them for 3 projects and they've always bprovided great service and prices are competitive. I would use them again.

*** and ***** were my installers and they were top notch. They arrived on time and did a great job of tearing out my old windows and installing a new bay window. They were professional and polite and cleaned up the area before they left. I love my new window! I'm amazed by the noise reduction it provides.

I learned of the company through a home show and decided to go with See Thru Windows and Doors after a couple of other presentations. Randy was personable, very knowledgeable of the products and market space. I felt the features and benefits of their product was the best. I opted for a French door installation to replace a sliding basement door. The door is very nice, the installation went quite well. Although, there was a problem with the automatic door lock upon the install. It did not activate. It took a couple of weeks to replace. The team was very attentive to my concerns, had good follow up and communication. The installer Ray was friendly, professional and did a great job. My experience with this company was a very good one and I would recommend this company to friends and family. I will likely use them again.

I had an unprofessional experience with this company; after 1.5 hours, their salesman refused give a price for the job. He took measurements and we picked out materials, which only took 15 minutes. He could not identify we were ready to buy. At 7:40pm when we demanded a price, because he ignored our previous price solicitations, he insulted my fiance saying she was the reason he could not finish his presentation, because she was 10 minutes late after picking up our child. He was there since 6:00pm. He cared more about explaining that they were a reputable company. I have never seen a salesman turn down money, truly perplexing. He seemed nervous, so we even tried to assist him on completing his sale, connecting him to wifi when his site wouldn't load, giving him room to work, inviting him into our home. It was so odd, I wish the best for him. But for a professional job, I'm not buying from this company or their associated brands.

TL:DR Expensive product looks nice but is hard to keep clean; Installers had to come back multiple times to fix leaks and ultimately I had to get 2nd contractor to find/fix problem; they made me feel bad. Contacted in December 2022. Wanted whole bathroom done, but was quoted ~$24K. Settled on new shower/soaker tub combo with full plumbing replacement for $13K, financed through company. Install February 2023. Difficult install went into the late evening but looked great, even though we were left with a cut line through existing floor tile. 48 hours later shower and tub soak. Still leaked. 1st repeat visit cut hole in drywall to view plumbing. Needed to add silicone at shower valve. 2nd callback found that tub spout was leaking, added sealant and replaced with ~10 degree tilt off center. 3rd callback couldn’t find the leak, just sealed everything they can find behind the wall. 4th callback with Supervisor and original installer. Called the office re. scheduling, initially told they determined problem was on my end and there was nothing they could do. After discussion told they confused me with another client. 4th visit installer arrived ~45 mins before supervisor. When supervisor arrived the shower head is spraying water onto the ceiling, which it HAD NOT been doing prior, and they tell me leak is user error because of shower head and/or us not using shower doors properly. I frustratedly say “then take the f@#$!)# shower head off”. Supervisor immediately gets in my personal space and lectures me on not using curse words and scares me. Tells me leak is from us dripping water on the floor and it will stop when I fix the floor. Had to get different contractor in to fix floor [and repair the hole they put in the drywall to look for leak]. Fixing the floor DID NOT STOP THE LEAK: there was no silicone sealant/caulk along the bottom inside rails of the shower door where bottom meets side. Many missed work days, extra expense, also hard to keep clean.

We reserved our gut remodel for our master bathroom with Randy M******** and the October 22, 2022 work order noted that this was a “Rush Job – Heavy Mold.” The contract we signed for financing October 24, 2022 mentioned a “full bathroom gut, new shower, floors.” All of the fixtures in the bathroom would be replaced, that we would purchase separately except the shower. November 30 to December 1 was the time frame. Until then, my family of 4 plus my two visiting parents had to share one bathroom. I was very disappointed and disgusted when they called the day of the install to say that they did not have ANY of my shower fixtures so they had to postpone another 2 weeks. The guys who did the work definitely did NOT adhere to the “measure twice, cut once” adage. The shower ceiling tray was not the right dimension but that wasn’t determined before a nice chunk of my ceiling was cut out. They replaced the drywall but the section doesn’t match the rest of the ceiling. I asked them to remove the existing medicine cabinet and fill the hole. They filled it with drywall but taped it and you can still see the green backing. As for the new medicine cabinets, there was definitely no prior planning before they took a saw to my wall. They didn’t use a pipe finder because they ran into a huge pipe behind the second medicine cabinet’s hole. They said they could reroute the pipe, but I was losing confidence so I said no, just surface mount. Later on, I asked Randy how much it would cost for them to fix the sloppiness and paint. Even though we were already paying $32,000 for the remodel, he quoted $1800.This was appalling considering the price of the gut remodel. The freestanding bathtub had a crack in it. The replacement was installed with an additional drain trap even though the tub came with a trap so it wouldn’t drain. The tub had to be uninstalled and reinstalled.I’m glad we left the shower bench out because they didn't have the right one.The shower looked nice when installed.

As a construction project manager (PM), I requested an abbreviated home inspection. Due to my experience, I was assigned Randy M. (their General Manager). Randy arrived on time and we started off with quick discussion. I reminded him of my PM experience. Randy measured the area quickly and started his briefing. Randy specifically showed me that BP received (15) 5-star BBB ratings. The problem is that this BP is not listed in BBB. See-Thru Windows, parent company, is listed with 12 ratings at 4.42. Is this fraud or at least false advertising? Without interrupting, I let Randy talk about how MOLD (1st time) will impact homes and that his product eliminates this issue. Randy then discussed of how MOLD (2nd time) base tile install impacts the home. Randy pulled out photo album and show MOLD (3rd time) pictures. I just informed Randy that I don’t need to see the pictures, but he left open the photo album with some very bad MOLD issues. The first three times Randy talked about MOLD, I didn’t interrupt and just friend reminded him that as a construction PM that I am familiar with MOLD. Randy eventually put the photo album away and brought up another discussion on how bad the lack of proper tile installation would cause bad MOLD (4th time). I’ve had enough be lectured and asked him to leave. Instead of being apologetic, Randy became confrontational and argued more and more. 30 seconds of arguing in my kitchen, I had to throw Randy out. I’ve NEVER been treated this bad from a vendor and I’ve hired several dozen vendors. I caution you with their heavy-handed approach to getting business. Good luck! BathPlanet by See-Thru info: 2640 Crain Highway Waldorf, MD 20601 Recap of issues: 1) False advertising: BBB 2) MOLD pressuring 3) Arguing 4) Cell # googles for "Hometown Improvement" company not BP

To set the stage: I am an 80-year old woman wanting to remodel one of my bathroom. The last 2 years I have had medical problems one of which required a brain biopsy among other biopsies. Mr. Randall M******** and his colleague Ms. Be Tucker arrived at 2:00 p.m. (representatives of See-Thru Window) and held me hostage until 6:30 p.m., on July 26, 2022. I was tired and told Mr. M******** that I would not sign asking him to leave. He continued to badger me, insisting I sign the contract. He finally left, she stayed. Mr. M******** told Ms. Tucker in a subdued voice to make me sign. Ms. Tucker looked tired also. I told her I would sign the contract so she could go home but not to process the order and not to deposit the check because I would take advantage of the 7-day cancelation policy available in Maryland. On Saturday, I canceled the policy via email and requested to have the deposit check returned to me. Mr. M******** has not replied to my request to cancel my order nor returned the check, instead he opened a credit card account with the remainder of $13,500. (I have the money to pay for the remodel in full in cash.) I have put a stop payment on the check and I spoke with the credit company to cancel the account which they have done. Can you help me to have Mr. M******** agree to cancel the account? I am worried that he may have "other tricks up his sleeve." Does he have any rights to continue with the bathroom remodel.
