If I could leave 0 stars I would. TD Auto Finance sent a lien release letter stating a lien had been released from a vehicle and stamped a title with the lien release information. The Wisconsin *** requires an electronic lien release and will not accept a stamped lien release title. I have contacted TD Auto Finance 5 times already trying to get an electronic lien release sent to the ** DMV. I have provided everything requested, yet I am still getting the runaround. Their policies are frustrating, confusing, and time consuming. It appears they purposely make their processes difficult for customers. Their customer service is horrible - expect to be transferred around multiple times until you reach someone who essentially says I can't help you. When you ask to speak with a supervisor, they tell you it isn't in their policy to do so. When you ask to email the documentation, they tell you it isn't in their policy to do so. Fax or snail mail are only accepted, yet when you send a fax online, they still state there is an issue. Beyond frustrating. I would NEVER work with this company again.

Ive had my account compromised 5 times now in the past few years. This time they locked me out of online banking and wont give me any info until I come into that bank and verify I am who I am. I dont feel safe keeping my money here and I definitely am not a fan of them revoking my access to my account

TD Bank is a squad of terrible, money hungry thugs that will take money from you for any reason they can. They make the process of withdrawing or taking money thats rightfully yours, grueling and close to impossible. Dealing with this bank is not for the weak and it is not for people who want to keep their money growing [or even keep their money]. Having an account with TD is a liability and you WILL lose money. Do not join. The only positive thing theyve ever done for me in the 6 years that Ive been banking with is write Happy birthday on the *** when I withdrew on my birthday. Pure garbage banking. Youre better off keeping your money in your mattress. If it was an option to give 0 stars, I would. TD Banks practices are unethical and exploitative. I repeat: DO. NOT. JOIN.

They told me 7-10 days on lien release. So far it be almost 30 days. They were very rude and unprofessional to deal with when I called regarding lien release.

This is the worst bank. I had a retail CC with them received the statement for 12 months when it came in the mail and I paid it. The last few months never got a statement in the mail never got a late notice or a phone call that a payment was not made. Didn’t realize until they hit my credit report. They take no accountability towards anything. I made the payment right away , but no help on there end , and no consideration that they should have called or sent a late notice.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received from TD Auto Finance. Initially, the process of setting up my vehicle loan was straightforward and efficient. However, a significant issue arose regarding the payment of my vehicle. On May 16, 2025, the vehicle I financed through TD Auto Finance was sold, and the outstanding balance was paid in full. The other financial institution involved confirmed receipt of payment on that date. Despite this, on May 27, 2025, my account with TD Auto Finance was debited for a scheduled payment on the same vehicle.Upon contacting TD Auto Finance, representatives were unable to locate any record of the payment. I was informed that it would take 14 business days to track down the payment and an additional 14 business days to resolve the situation. During this period, I was contractually obligated to continue making payments, despite possessing documented proof of the loan's payoff from the other bank. After several hours spent on the phone, the issue was finally resolved. I was informed that the payment check had been incorrectly scanned and applied to the wrong account. While the payoff date was retroactively adjusted to May 16, 2025, I was then told that a refund for the overpayment would take 14 days to process, followed by another 14 days to be disbursed. This experience has been exceptionally frustrating and reflects a severe lack of efficiency and customer support. The extended timelines for resolution and refund, coupled with the initial inability to locate a confirmed payment, are unacceptable. I would strongly advise prospective customers to consider alternative financing companies given this experience and the consistently negative reviews observed across various online platforms

If I could leave zero stars, I would!!! It all started for me in September 2024 when I paid off my 2022 ********, and after 2 months, TD auto told me they lost my title. They requested a duplicate title, and 2 months later, no title and more excuses. When I called ***************** I left a message (via email only) for the "fast track" office, which is a separate company that handles all titles, and after another 4 weeks of waiting, still no title. After a minimum of 25 calls back and forth and excuse after excuse, I was fed up and sent a message to The senior executives, who handed it down to another level of management, who called me with more excuses and lies, and still no title. I had to take the Lien release letter, fill out the duplicate title form with a check for $25.00, and surprise. I GOT MY TITLE!! I have purchased many cars from multiple financial institutions for my business and me personally but have NEVER seen such poor customer service, and to top it off, they do not care! so sad
