Their very bad you try to get hold of them when you finally do and request for them to cancel an order and they tell you they did you explain you dont want auto ship they tell you dont worry we took care of it then you find out their pulling money out for the food that you canceled for get to Autoship doesnt allow you toCovetrus

If I could leave less than one star rating for Covetrus, I would. Covetrus is horrible with deplorable service. This is an years long ongoing issue of no service, and constant pushing to refill prescriptions that have just been refilled, including prescriptions for controlled substances. They clearly don't care about customers or animals, only their bottom line. My vet sent in 2 prescriptions to be compounded for my cat 48 hours ago. I got no notice or bill from Covetrus, and when I attempted to call them, couldn't get anyone, only a message saying that call delay times were over 10 minutes and I would get a callback. An hour and a half later I left and went to my vet (before they closed) to get pills and arrange to have the other prescription transferred to another compounding pharmacy. Six months ago I attempted to get a drug compounded, and it took it almost two weeks to finally get someone at Covetrus to answer the phone, only to be told they didn't have the drug they advertised. I tried online chat, only to be told they didn't have anyone to chat with. The real shame is that Covetrus bought and ruined Roadrunner which was a much better pharmacy and easier to use. Even when Covetrus responds to a prescription, they want you to use the computer to complete the order. Even with their help, I have never been able to open my account on the computer. After these experiences I will NEVER use Covetrus again!Covetrus

We understand how important these medications are to the wellbeing of our pets and strive to ensure these medications are processed promptly. Our system is set up to send refill reminders for your prescriptions. Sometimes, those reminders don't completely match up with when the medication is needed. These reminders can be turned off under "prescriptions" on your account. If you are unable to access your account, we would be a happy to assist with this.
After reviewing your account, I show that your veterinarian put prescriptions on file for four different compounded medications. Unfortunately, by putting prescriptions on file, that does not automatically place an order. However, you can request orders for these prescriptions by calling us directly. I do apologize for any confusion this has caused.
Additionally, I apologize for the trouble you had in contacting customer service. We recently went through a system upgrade and with that, were seeing a higher call volume. That has now been completed so we are hopeful that our call volume will start to decrease, and that we will be able to assist via our chat feature soon.

1 starTerrible and expensive service. *** told the vet who pushed this pharmacy on me. I needed a medicine for my dog urgently and the vet didnt have it and recommended I ordered it from Covetrus. I ordered the medicine and asked (and paid $$) for expedited 1-day delivery. That was Friday (Feb 23) and its Tuesday (Feb 27) and Im still waiting. When I go to the *** site it says that itll post a delivery date when its available. This was supposed to be 1-day delivery. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.Review fromEd T

First time order. LAST time order! OMG. After I order online on a Tuesday, I get a email message Friday after business hours that they are out of stock. And the wording pretty much says the drug "may" be in the following week. Then add another 3-5 days for the order so were looking at two weeks. BUT I ordered TWO drugs for my dog. So one is out of stock. Do they send the other drug that is not out of stock? NOPE! Lucky for me the vet office was open Saturday. She got me a prescription at *********'s. So I pick that up. I call on Monday to cancel the order for the one drug since its out of stock. Not once do they tell me they are cancelling the second drug that supposably was in stock but who knows. Here is the bigger issue. This is a First time prescription for my 8.5 yr old Great **** with a heart problem. ***'s only live 7-9 yrs. Gee lets just wait on the medicine for 2 weeks or so and not give a Sh**. Find out from your VET if the drug for your dog is also something used for humans. If so you can go to a regular pharmacy and NOT have to do business with a place like this. This business is ridiculous! This place should be shut down.Covetrus

I apologize for the experience that you encountered with receiving your Great ****** medication in a timely manner. After reviewing your account, before the order was sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment, we did have to verify the dosing instructions with your vet clinic. That was completed on February 7th. At that time, we were notified that the item was out of stock. Unfortunately, it is a manual process to notify pet owners of out of stock issues, and we were not able to reach out until February 9th regarding the out of stock medication. We understand the importance of getting medication in a timely manner and we are actively working on a more acceptable work flow to ensure pet owners are notified more efficiently.
With regard to the second medication that was on the order. With our current system, unfortunately, if one item is held up for any reason, the whole order is held. We do not have a way to send the rest of the order, unless we cancel and replace with two separate orders. Fortunately, we are working on a new backend system coming in the near future, that will allow the capability of shipping the unaffected item without having to cancel and replace the order.
Due to the inconvenience, if you do choose to order through us again in the future, I would be happy to put a note on your account for free next day shipping and a 10% courtesy discount. You would just need to call customer service to place the order to get the free shipping and discount applied.

Ordered Royal Canin Gastrointestinal dry dog food for my dog. Cost over $100. The food arrived spoiled and uneditable. Went to the website to request a refund. Can't get a refund over the chat tool and they tell you to call their support line. Waited on hold for 30+ minutes on support with still no answer.Covetrus

1 starHello - I have been a long time customer of *************************** cat is a patient at **************************, *******, ** *****. I am very upset. I was surprised because this has never happened before. In the past after I would place an order - I would always receive it within 2-3 days - never any problems. Not so now.My auto ship order was placed on January 10, 2023. Four days later I did not see any updates on my order so I called Covetrus customer service. I had to wait for a call back & that has never happened before either - used to get right through to someone. Anyway, the agent said that they were delayed because of the weather & that it would be shipped very soon. The next day - January 15, 2023 I finally got a ***** tracking number. But the next day Jan 16, ***** said they had a problem with the package - it was "undeliverable". ***** put out a search for it -but on Jan 18 ***** closed the case because they told me they sent the package back to Covetrus. So I had to call Covetrus again. They looked up the tracking number & told me it looks like it's on it's ******* said 'no, it is not'. Then I had to explain this entire mess...& finally they said they would re-order it for me - which they did on Jan 18. It is now January 23, 2023, I looked up this 2nd order & STILL no movement on it - 5 days & STILL no tracking number! I don't think I'll ever get my order! My cat needs this food as he has digestive problems. I am a senior citizen with my own health ************ need this product delivered to my door. I need to have this resolved.Review fromAnita B

The worst customer service I've ever had. They don't answer their phone. They offer online chat but each time I tried to use it (10 times), I'm told there is no one available. They do not respond to the contact us message system. Auto Ship is a joke. They take way too long to fill orders, without even updating you on anything. They do not answer emails. They sent us the wrong dog food and it was incredibly frustrating to try and find someone that would fix their mistake. DO NOT USE COVETRUS. They do not care about you or your pet. You are better off staying local.Covetrus

Once a diet order is placed, it gets sent directly over to the manufacturer for fulfillment and they do let us know if there are any issues with the order. Currently, our diet manufacturers are taking anywhere from **** business days to fill orders. I do show that we were able to rectify the situation of receiving the incorrect food by processing a no charge reship and according to tracking, it is set to be delivered tomorrow by 7 PM. You should have received an email with the tracking information.
