  The Cuddledown rewards program is a scam. It is advertised as rewards which is very deceptive. It is actually a monthly recurring charge! Beware!

  Awful experience dealing with their customer service if you encounter any glitch or problem. Has happened to me a few times over the years, and I've had enough! Find an alternative and save yourself the unnecessary aggravation!

  Just figured out mom has been getting charged monthly for Cuddledown Rewards for who knows how long. She's older and easily confused, so, after reading other complaints, I went to the Cuddledown Rewards website to see for myself if it seemed shady or not. Now I'm upset! At the top of the web page, there are 4 headings: How It Works, FAQ, Contact Us, and Sign In.How It Works - this is a ton of reading - over ***** words. ZERO mention of a monthly fee, program fee, monthly charge or program cost or any cost at all! And this is the "How It Works" page. Talk about deceitful! So then I navigated over to the FAQ's, thinking that might tell how it works.FAQ's - wow - over ***** words! this is broken down into categories: - General Membership - this section has 3 questions - Why should I join..., Who do I contact for help..., and How do I cancel.... (paraphrased to keep this review under the character limit). At least they have a cancellation question! They offer 3 ways to cancel - under your account when logged in, calling the number, or via email. Also via the Contact Us page. They make it easy at least. I've submitted my request!-Our *************** -Marketplace *************************************************************** Those are the categories and there are 3 to 6 questions under each category. And ZERO mention of a monthly fee, program fee, monthly charge or program cost or any cost at all!However, at the bottom of the website under helpful inks, there's one called Program Terms. This is close to ***** words and it finally mentions, after 700 words, "Membership Charges".It's possibly I overlooked it, but I didn't see a link to the terms within the How It Works or FAQ pages. Only at the bottom of the web page. That brings me to the conclusion that it's only there for legal reasons and if they had a choice, it would be omitted.My official conclusion - DISINGENUOUS! Advice to Cuddledown - JUST OWN IT & BE PROUD OF YOUR BUSINESS MODEL or CHANGE IT!

  After reading the complaints filed, I felt I wanted to share my previous experience which is precisely as others have gone through. The "monthly rewards program" is definitely well hidden. I never fall for this type of scam, but I did on Cuddledown. I immediately contacted customer service to demand refund, filed a complaint with the ********* was resolved - CAVEAT EMPTOR. Never will I purchase from Cuddledown.

  Their rewards program is a scam! I was not aware it cost money until I started seeing monthly charges on my account. I will never order from this company again! Terrible customer service!

  I submitted 18 claims the same way I always submitted and they got declined with the excuse that they were not eligible fees. These are merchants on their website that they cover. I called and was told I should have not included taxes and shipping in the total when the website said to include all of that. I am told to resubmit without the tax and shipping fees and will get reimbursed, will yet see if that will work. Also you cannot submit more than once a day for the same merchant, a rule that was definitely not clear when I signed up. I have cancelled my membership which has gone up from before.

  As a 40+ year customer and former VIP member, I just spent about $2K in Oct/Nov for bedding with Cuddledown. As I placed the first order, the agent suggested I join their rewards program--30 days free trial--and those Oct. purchases would be counted. Not true--they changed my trial date to late Oct. and now tell me I will only get $42 back--minus the $25 I paid to continue the rewards program in December! SCAM is the word that comes to mind--how they could treat such a long-time customer so fraudently is unbelievable. That was my LAST purchase with this company!

  AVOID CUDDLEDOWN and their fraudulent "VIP Service." I was a customer of ********************** for many years, however, no longer. They used to be a privately owned company and the majority of their products were of good quality, made in *******. In 2013, Cuddledown was bought by "************* Group" and Cuddledown has become nothing but a fraudulent company. 95%+ of their items are from *****: They like to use the term "imported," which is just a guise for "Made in *****." $25 FOR SHIPPING, for even the smallest order. Their **************** is the ABSOLUTE WORST ON THE PLANET: It is the **************** Dept. from ****, talk about "Kafkaesque" -- what a nightmare. They are based in Asia somewhere and are of no help whatsoever. I could go on and on about the bad experiences I have had with them of late, but suffice it to say, do yourself a favor: Save your money, time, and avoid the aggravation; you can find nicer linens elsewhere at less cost. If I could give Cuddledown a "0" rating instead of a "1" star rating I would -- I wish I could give them a "- (negative) 25" rating. It's a racket.
