    I had a very strong feeling this company was profiting off of peoples fear. After doing some research and looking at how this company was advertising there Rapid Radio to the average consumer I left a comment on there ******** stating the obvious I will put a copy below.These will not work in a scenario where all phone towers are out since they rely on LTE signal (Phone Signal) correct? Im asking because you didnt really answer on your website. Thats something to definitely let people know as you may trick someone other than that they are pretty cool. I also attached a copy of their own FAQ where they give a scam like answer to the question Will this work in an area with no cellular coverage? There answer It will work better than a cell phone, that's for sure - we use ALL the carriers (not just 1, like a phone) plus it's a different technology than a phone call.. PLUS gets better signal. In return the company did not give me a answer or try to explain their product they blocked my comment and my account in less than 5 minutes to save anyone from seeing the truth and potentially lose them a sale while peoples emotions are high no where have I seen this company admit there product will not work if all towers go down and that is sad. Lets not even get started how they hide there yearly $50 Fee. Its all about marketing and wording with this company.

    **** is not a customer of ours, and reporting us to the ******************** because he does not understand the product. There is no refund necessary, as he is not a customer and just trying to harm the business.

     

    We have donated thousands of radios for the hurricane relief effort with the ********** Samaritans purse and more and our radios are working in cell phone areas that don't have coverage, due to our redundancy and the different bands than a cell phone.

     

    This person is mistaken, assuming, and we're not sure of the point of this complaint.

    I purchased 5 rapid radio. Which are supposed to work anywhere even out of the country. They say even in a castrophy you will have communication better than a cel phone service anywhere unlimited distance. That is why I purchased so many. They are $400.00 each.Our cel phones did not have service for several hours yesterday due to ******* was out all over.We got the rapid radios and they had no servi e either. This is false advertising and a rip off. The product is worthless in an emergency which was my sole purpose of the purchase. I am very angry about this and telling everyone not to buy them.

    The company Rapid Radio is not telling the truth.  I have checked the credit card history **** never did a charge back and there are no credits from Rapid Raadios going back to the ebeginning of August.  Therefore I am expecting a recund for 5 radios and a base station which was over $1000.00.  So now We have absolutely no use of the radios and no money back.  If I do not recieve my refund I will no other alternative exept to contact my attorney and get him involved in this matter.  I have referred customers to you, thjat has stopped

    Just a couple things to note for anyone thinking about buying these. Theyre not being 100% honest on some things so there may be more.-All over their website, they stress theres no monthly fee or other hidden fees. But in the fine print, there IS a yearly fee. Its $50/radio (which is about $4/month/radio).-They say there are no yearly contracts, but they require you to pay the full $50 fee at the beginning of each year, which is like being locked into a contract for the next year.-They proclaim heavily it works ANYWHERE. This is not true. It does not work in the mountains, desert, oceans, caves, or anywhere else there isnt cell service... where radios would be most useful.-They claim we cannot rely on cell phones given future wars. This may be true. However, these radios themselves are cell service based. So, if cell phones dont work, these wont work either. Deceitful.-They claim no lag. This is not true. Its impossible to have zero lag.Having said that, they appear to be quality made and work well for what they are. They certainly have their place and advantages. But given their deceitful marketing practices, I wouldnt trust them.

    We finally received the radios on June 12th after Rapid messing up the order and some how putting it into my name instead of my boyfriends as the form we completed and losing the original order. One of the radios stopped working in a week and we have not been able to get ahold of anyone at the customer support call center, we have completely a form regarding the radio not working and the issue for the company. They have horrible customer service that needs to improve! These two radios were a test run to see if we wanted to buy more I can say so far it has been a very poor showing on the companies behalf and would not recommend nor buy anymore if they can not provide support for what they sale.

    I received my four-pack of radios on June 12th. I reached out to support via email the next day because one of my radios was DOA. I never received a response. on June 16th i was told that they would send an update and reset the *** card in that unit. They said if it didn't work, to let them know. I power cycled the unit multiple times, and I'm still having the same issue. I reached back out to support the same day, on June 16th, to let them know that the problem still existed. It is now June 18th, and I have not heard a response from anybody at Rapid Radio. If you try to contact them via social media they delete your post

    I bought 3 of their radios on 3/20/2024, $194.97, order #********. They were not going to work for our family because in the fine print it says you will need a CB license. I was refunded $155.97 which is $39.00 short of what I paid. Never got a call back but received an email saying it was a 20% restocking fee. NO WHERE is it stated there would be a charge for restocking. They claim a 100% money back guarantee. I have sent several texts to them with no response. I even had to pay $19.61 for shipping them back. This is not a reputable company. They will not respond either.

    I purchased several units from RapidRadios. They do not perform as listed. I live in a small area in the north and travel to other places in the state, and the radios ONLY work in my little city. They don't even work in a big city like *********. I have tried contacting support via phone and email many times with no luck. I have asked to return them, and they won't respond.     I have reviewed the response from the business regarding complaint ID ********. Despite sending over ten emails over a period of three weeks, I received only automated replies. Consequently, I filed a complaint with the BBB and returned the product via certified mail, along with a letter indicating my intention to pursue the matter in small claims court. My refund was processed, and the response to this BBB complaint is the first communication I have seen, validating the legitimacy of this business.


    In my opinion, this experience raises concerns about the company's business practices, as the product also did not perform as advertised on their website.
