      We bought a set of ******** tires with a ***** mile rating on 2-23-22. We placed ****** miles on the vehicle and now are in need of 4 new tires. *** store manager pointed out that the ***** mile rating is not guaranteed and not reliable. He asked about tire rotation and I stated that I rotated them myself during 3 oil changes and once during a brake change. He stated that ******** would not accept that. I pointed to the numerous witness marks on the tire lugs, from my impact wrench as proof. I showed him that the tires wore evenly, with the back tire slightly better than the front. I pointed out that getting tires rotated at his store required waiting hours that I did not have and we were never informed that we could not rotate out own tires. He did offer a set of Michelin tires at a 50 dollar "discount" per tire and stated that these tires were rated at ***** miles. *** same rating system he just explained did not mean anything. He stated I could seek relief through ******** or I could take his offer...but not both.

      To whom it may concern, 

      We do apologize that ****************** was unhappy with his tires and they did not meet the Manufacturer's expectations. Our location Manager did inspect the customer's tires and had reached out to ******** on their behalf. ******** was willing to assist the customer with a prorated adjustment on the tires. However, when we reached out to the customer they had already contacted ******** and had the tires replaced. When the customer came in to have the tires inspected, we could not get any information from ********, as their warranty department was closed for the day. See case notes Below

      I dealt with this customer when he came in. I went out and looked at his vehicle and the tread depths were about 1/32 in the front and 4/32 in the rear. The customer informed me that he does his own rotations. I believe his mileage estimate was pretty close, he only had about 22K miles on them. It was later in the evening when he came in, so ******** was not open. He asked for their number and I gave it to him. He was asking what options he had to get the tires replaced. I offered him a great deal on some Michelin tires (at cost). He said he was going to try to contact ******** and get back to **** called ******** and figured the proration amount out. It was roughly $410. I called the customer today, and spoke with his wife. She said that they had contacted ******** already and they prorated the tires the same way at another shop. She said she was not happy that her husband did not get an answer right away when he came in. I explained that when he came in it was in the evening and we were not able to get an answer right away. I apologized for this, and we ended the call.

      We did not deny the customer warranty coverage. However, we do not create or dictate the terms, or the coverage offered by the Manufacturer when it comes to a mileage claim. Those adjustments are done at the Manufacturers discretion.

      I had called prior to the service regarding whether Belle Tire as an entity would be available to service my concerns that were in particular an inspection of a tire that had been plugged. The tire had been affected by a miniscule screw, however, upon removing it, the tire deflated. I had removed the tire for my spare, plugged the tire with a tire repair kit and taken it to Belle Tire to see whether they would be able to patch said tire. Hours later, upon returning, the employees had informed me that the tire was not repairable due to its "run-flat" state, and returned to me my wheel. However, upon inspecting my tire and attempting to reinflate it, I noticed that the valve stem was removed and the tire was not in place of the rim, leading to the wheel now being incapable of retaining any tire pressure. The only bit of information that was mentioned to Belle Tire was whether my tire was patchable and what they had inspected. The tire was not driven on flat, ever, yet the employees refused to return my wheel back to the condition that it had arrived in full of air and plugged because they could not service the repair and considered it to be "dangerous to drive on a tire that they cannot repair", therefore refused to insert the valve stem they had taken from my wheel, and refused to fit the tire back onto the rim properly.

      We apologize for any poor communication from our sales staff to our customer. We have to remove the tire from the wheel in order to properly inspect and repair the tire. Upon inspection of the customer's tire, it was visibly noticeable that the tire was driven low on air. enough to make a ring around the inside of the tire, with ground rubber inside of the tire. The tire does not have to be driven on "Flat" to cause this damage. It merely needs to be driven on low. It is very possible that the customer was unaware. Once this type of damage is done, the tire should be removed from service. In addition to being unsafe to drive on, it is also unsafe for anyone to attempt to re-inflate the tire. The probability of the damaged side wall exploding under pressure or having air pressure applied is high. Again, we apologize for any mis- communication.

      I got my front brakes fixed at Belle tire and paid almost $500, this was about 3 to 4 months ago, low and behold, my brakes are grinding when I turn my wheel to the right while I am driving, of course. I was not told by Belle tire that I was getting a temporary brake job done. I told him that I wanted my brakes fixed, not patched up, which is exactly what he did for almost $500 and now looking at having to have my front brakes replaced immediately before things get any worse and ruins my rotors.

      I ordered tires at the ********** ******* location towards the end of 2021. The tires took too long to come in and I ended up needing to replace them due to safety concerns and had to order tires from another company. I had put a deposit down to order these tires from Belle tire, however I did not purchase these tires and never received them and was told originally I could not have my deposit refunded but that they would make an exception and would refund me the deposit and send it to me in a check in the mail even though I paid with my debit card I never received this check and I have attempted to call the Plainfield location with no success in fixing this issue I am beyond frustrated.

      My mother went to Belle Tire on Wednesday, August 24th to have a tire repaired; the tire had been punctured. The person helping my mother informed that the tire could not be repaired and that all her tires needed replaced. They told her she would be slipping and sliding all over the place this winter. Worried that she would have difficulty driving on poor tires, she agreed to buy four new tires. However, we bought my mom her car a month ago, which we bought her because the tires were in good condition and would last several years. Belle Tire took advantage of an older woman and not only talked her into 4 brand new tires, but also sold her tires of inferior quality. My mother is on disability with a fixed income and minimal savings. She is now out $800 because Belle Tire took advantage of her age and disposition. She should be reimbursed, or at the least be given her tires back. However, Im sure by now her tires have been sold. Very disappointed at the way Belle Tire conducts their business.

      This company lies about what they offer just to get people in the door. They also destroy clients vehicle parts on a regular basis. Then they lie that they will fix it at no charge and then they do not fix it or they try to charge u outrageous money to fix the problem that they created

      I filed another complaint several months ago, but it was never posted. Weird, but here is a new one same issue. I purchased brand new tires 6 months ago from Belle Tire in Royal Oak on **********. I pick my vehicle up from Belle Tire and see that my front passenger tire already needs air, so I just go fill it ** in back, no worries. Over the next several days the tire is going from Full to flat in a matter of a day, so after work I stop by a Belle Tire location in ************ and they refused to help because it was so late in the day. Okay, fine. I try to get some appointments set up at the Belle Tire by my house and they are actively refusing to help me saying they are too busy. I ended up taking the vehicle to a different company who fixed the issue with that tire. Now the passenger rear tire starts having similar issues, so I try to take it in, they say no, so I just deal with it. Im thinking these are new tires so they should be fine. I took it in last Thursday to get the passenger rear tire fixed after getting off my ****. Guy tells me its a nail in my tire, fixes it and sends me on my way. Next day on my way into work, same slow leak issue again, and I am just surprised since I just had it fixed. Today, I was driving home and the tire was full before I left my parents house. During the drive home, I watched the tire pressure light come on in my vehicle. I decided that I would stop by Kroger and put some air in all of my tires. When I was filling the driver side rear tire, the rear passenger tire exploded. This could have caused harm to me, or worse.I have never seen this level of organizational incompetence from one organization. Its simply amazing.

      I have tried to work with Belle Tire to get my vehicle repaired, and I thought we had come to a resolution, but they failed to repair my tire when I took it there on Tuesday. I am going to return to Belle Tire today and hopefully they can repair my vehicle. 

      I really just want this nightmare to be over. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any purchase I have ever made.
