      On 5/4/23, my spouse and I had Belle Tire perform a realignment on my spouse's vehicle. On 5/5/23, after driving only a total of 14 miles in the vehicle, my husband's wheel came off of the vehicle while he was driving. After having it transported to the nearest shop, he was informed that the lug nuts on all of the wheels were loose and that one was missing completely from a different wheel. In the opinion of the mechanic, this was undoubtedly related to the alignment performed the previous day. My husband drives this vehicle regularly and has never had problems with the wheels prior to the realignment performed at Belle Tire. My husband contacted Belle Tire regarding the issue and they deny any responsibility. On a phone call recorded at 10:36am on 5/5/23, manager ***** stated that technicians would not notice if a lug nut was loose or if the wheels were loose/not secure. On a follow up call at 10:59am, ***** declined to explain further regarding his previous statements. I inquired regarding how a proper alignment could be performed without first ensuring that the wheels were secured properly, but he declined to answer. The fact that technicians are not assessing vehicles closely enough to determine if wheels are secure is a liability in itself. Adequately secured wheels do not typically fall off vehicles within only 14 miles.

      We are aware of ********************** concern and have reviewed the concern with the location Manager. We are very sorry to hear that his wheel came loose while he was driving and caused damage to his vehicle. We are glad to hear that ****************** was not injured and that no one else was injured. With regard to his wheels coming loose, verifying the torque specifications for his wheel fasteners is not part of the alignment procedure. The only time we would have reason to verify the torque of his fasteners would be if we removed the wheels from the vehicle. You do not remove the wheels from the vehicle to perform an alignment, and on the day in question, that was the only service performed. I have reviewed the calls that ****************** placed to the store, where he states "he torques them on all the time"  (Call placed on 5/5/2023 @ 9:20 am). He then called back again on 5/5/2023 @ 10:36 am and stated his vehicle is at another repair facility and all four wheels are loose, and he knows for a fact that his wheels were torqued in the last month. In general, not many people randomly torque or verify the torque of their wheel fasteners without the wheel being removed previously? So it makes you wonder why he would be doing that. If they are not removed and you are torqueing them with anything other than a torque wrench, set at the proper torque specification you will damage the fasteners. They become stretched and weak from over torqueing. Regardless, I have also reviewed the footage of his vehicle being aligned that day. At no time, are any wheel fasters touched or removed by any Belle Tire employee. I can also say, that at no time were any wheels removed from ********************** vehicle. At this time, Belle Tire is not accepting responsibility for any damages caused by ********************** wheels coming loose.

      On 03-31-2023, I ordered four new tires at the Belle Tire location in *************, and requested that my new front two tires already installed on the vehicle be kept and placed in my trunk to use them as spares in the future. The store associate confined they would keep the front two tires, and I went on my way. The work was completed, and only after arriving at my destination did I realize the store did not put the correct number or type of tires in my vehicle! I contacted the store the next business day since they were already closed when I realized this issue. The store manager didn't seem to care that they made a mistake and disposed of two new tires that I owned and asked for them to be kept! The best the store would offer was $175, which doesn't even cover one tire replacement. Belle Tire customer service has been contacted via phone calls (nobody answers, so voicemail is left), as well as an email sent to their customer service inbox. The company needs to make this write and either refund me the amount it will cost me to replace my two spare tires or send me two brand new tires to my doorstep.

      Thank you for your response. My issue remains. I asked Belle Tire of Greenwood to keep my front two tires. They agreed to keep my two front tires and place them in my trunk. They made the mistake of discarding them. Whether they were one day old with 1 mile of wear or two years old with ****** miles on them, I still am without the two spare tires that were agreed to be kept. My receipt even says to keep the front two tires and place them in the trunk! Belle Tire needs to keep to their word just like I did when I agreed to pay the bill! Technically this service is still incomplete since all items on my receipt are unfulfilled. If this cant be resolved between us, I will take this to my card company or even possible legal action.***************************

      3/23/2023 My husband took his car in for a tire repair the store called him after we dropped off the car due to having to get to work that other repairs to the car needed to be made, he opted to trust their guidance was mis quoted for **** a call came back with in a half hour that it would actually be **** after they had already started the work that they said needed to be done. ( we had no prior issues with this car) dropped off on Tuesaday 3/22/23.My husband paid for the repairs, got the key went out to the car, began to leave and upon trying to come to a stop at the store exit realized that he had no breaks.he manuvered the car into a spot before hitting the afternoon traffic and went back inside to let them know that the car clearly is not ready. to which the young man told him " oh yeah I forgot to tell you , you had a leak in your break line" This store nearly cost my husband his life, they allowed a customer to leave without checking that the car was ok and without letting us know that something was wrong. The next day we requested our parts that the store cut off of our car, another mechanic took a look and noted that there was no reason for the cutting og these parts and that onlyu bushings would maybe have needed to be replaced. We are now out **** extra dollars when we only needed a new tire or even a new set. we did call the coporate offices to which they were somewhat helpful and the store did repair the breaks that before we took the car in were just fine. According to ********* custormenr service we were double charged for labor and according to a second opion form a master mechanic we were charged for work that didnt need to be done.The level of anxiety that has been left by knowing that this company this store nearly changed my families life and potentially anyone else on the road that day does not sit well with me.

      On two recent purchases of new tires,the location at rochester road quoted one price then when we went to get the car the price was substantially higher . Once you haggle with them they do go back to the original quote However they take off your receipt the optional warranty and tire replacement without letting you know they are doing this..So if you have a flat or rotation or warranty the tire repair or replacement is on you , and they will not budge from this ridiculous stance , I have never refused this optional service nor did my daughter when she recently had a purchase they took it upon themselves to just zero out this option . so when we had a flat or have to replace a tire we have to pay . It appears since this has happened to me on two separate occasions that they are doing this to make up for losses on their end on my orders which then alllows them to charge you for new tires because you have no warranty They operate on a very untrustworthy manner I had been a loyal customer for decades but I will think twice after these recent deceits

      We are sorry to hear about ********************** tire and the trouble he encountered. In review on ********************** account with Belle Tire, I was able to locate the invoice and tire in question. Whenever a customer purchases tires from ********************** and they are installed, we rotate, balance and repair tires at no charge to our customer's. There is no additional warranty needed to receive these benefits. Tire repairs are offered to the public for free, regardless of where they were purchased. However, we do offer a Tire Protection Plan (road Hazard) or insurance on the tires we sell. In the event a tire cannot be repaired as a result of damage from the road, nail or puncture, the tire is replaced at no charge. ******************, does not have the Tire Protection Plan on the tire in question. I have reached out to the location Manager and have made him aware of ********************** concern and his BBB Complaint. He will be reaching out ****************** in an effort to resolve his concerns.

      On December 2020 I purchased 4 brand new tires I thought from Belle tire in *********** ******* store. It was 2 years later the front tire on the driver side was low so as I am putting air in it I noticed a plug used to repair a flat tire.I never had to repair it . That left me with the conclusion that that tire has been used before maybe even the entire set is used and sold to me as brand new.I went to the store to let them know they admitted that the tires are there product but didnt confirm nor deny if that set of tires new or used so they did nothing about it. I say that is fraud they scammed me financially and exposed myself ,my family and other drivers to danger not to mention they broke the law.please contact me ASAP you have all my contact *************** what they did was wrong and I want the BBB to help me with this complaint to stop companies like that from defrauding consumers and exposing them to harm.       We have reviewed the details of ******************** concern. He did purchase tires on 11/2/2020 for his vehicle. However, we did not see the vehicle again until 1/31/2022 for a tire rotation. The next visit was on 4/11/2022 for suspension work and again on 7/23/2022 for a fuel tank strap. The most recent visit on 2/18/2023, was for a brake inspection and tire repair for the Drivers front tire. It was on this visit that we discovered a plug patch in the tire that was leaking. It was not properly adhered to the tire. This plug patch was not the make or type used by Belle Tire and we have no record of repairing a tire for him from 11/2/2020 thru 2/18/2023. Belle Tire does not promote or sell 'Used" tires to the public. When the store advised ****************, he became argumentative and aggressive towards our employee and threatened legal action. This incident has been recorded by our store location in our reporting system, if reference is needed. At this time we cannot accept responsibility for the the patch/plug that was not installed by Belle Tire.

      I was not aware of that patch being in that tire I never noticed it until it started leaking and when I put air in it I noticed the patch.I have not taken it to any place to be repaired. If I had a leak problem with it I would have brought it to the same shop I bought it from. I know I purchased the tires some time ago . I have no reason to make up a story like that and for what. My vehicle was in your shop many times so is my wifes vehicle was in your shop I spent thousands of dollars in your shop for repairs.Ido not need to scam your company like I was scammed by your company.those tires came out of your shop installed by your employees and no one else touched them as god is my witness .

      The price that I was given at bell tire website was not the same price I got at the store for the same tires. The website had asked me all kind of questions about my car ( car maker, model, year and body style) but never asked me about tires size.

      ************** did reach out to our office and we have spoken with him. We extend our apologies to him for any confusion. Below is a recap of the conversation our **************** rep had with *************** 

       

      Customer called to state they had filed a ******************** report for false advertisement from our website. The customer said he pulled a tire quote from our site, and went into the store to set an appointment. Upon his arrival the sales rep walked out to verify the size and it was wrong compared to the size the customer looked up. With the correct tire size, it wasa $300 increase compared to the tires he had choose.

      I asked the customer if he knew what size rim he had, and he said "No, I'm not a tire or car guy so I don't know. I just went off what your website recommended." I informed him that the website will get the year make and model, then asks what kind of trim design your vehicle has which will ensure most cases its the right size. There is always the chance that the website will be off by a little and thats why our experts go out to verify before taking any form of payment.

      On janurary 14th I took my vehicle to my local belle tire to have serviced with a full tire rotation and to figure out why two of my tires I just had replaced a MONTH prior kept going flat. Upon dropping it off belle tire doing the tire rotation employees tried selling me a new valve stem saying it was bad. I declined the valve stem replacement because it was funny to me that, this seemed to be the problem only after belle tire yet again messed with my tires. So belle tire completed my tire rotation and called For my vehicle to be picked up. I picked my car up and left Belle tire and drove to discount tire 0.9 miles away down the road. I told them what belle tire had said and asked for a second opinion on my valve stem before replacing it. Upon discovery on behalf of discount tire my valve stem surprisingly just needed to be cleaned. Wow can you imagine that. Also discovered 3 bubbles in brand new tires that were just replaced a month prior to that Belle tire SOMEHOW managed to miss while doing a FULL TIRE ROTATION and then left me drive off belle tire property like that. So belle tire did a full tire rotation on my vehicle, pitched an issue about a valve stem and managed to miss 3 bubbles on tires. I dont know how a company could fail so horribly. It took me 3 times calling customer service before I called headquarters and headquarters didnt do anything but direct me back to customer care. From That phone call it took another 3 weeks and multiple voicemails to ***** at customer care and still did not hear anything. I then called corporate again which redirected me back to customer care. I do not know what kind of system this is but I call it extremely unprofessional for a multi million dollar company. All in all Belle tire is trying to make me pay ***** to put the warranty back on my tires. Belle tire should be held responsible for this fee because A. They missed the bubbles on a full tire rotation B. if anything was to happen because Belle tire did not properly perform their job correctly then it becomes their liability. It became their liability the day they let me leave their parking lot bold. So I would like for belle tire to pay the ***** and call it a day. It was a bad job on their end period. Also let someone know higher up your company needs a better customer care center that can perform better.

I extend my apologies for the trouble she has experienced. We have made arrangements to have the two tires replaced per her request at no charge. This will fulfill the warranty obligation for these two tires. Moving forward she will not have Road Hazzard protection on the two tires in question.

      I went in for an alignment. My car did not have any lights on the dashboard lit up. Immediately after my alignment I started my car and found 3 lights on my dashboard lit up. I asked why my lights were on and the service manager "****" had no idea why. A Belle Tire technician pulled my car back in. 5 minutes later I was walked back to my car and they showed me that my ABS sensor had been severed. The service manager asked the Technician if the lights were on before the service and the technician said he didn't look at the dashboard while pulling it in (or pulling it out). In fact the Technician claimed to have no idea what happened. The service manager then claimed the "tech" could not have severed the cable it just was not possible for that type of service. I looked up how an alignment works and where the cable was. The Technician had to put a wrench within 6 inches of the hanging cable and loosen a large bolt on the tie rod. If the cable was severed at the time instead of being plugged in it would have been hanging in his face (also the lights on the dashboard would have been lit up prior to pulling into the shop). One slip of a wrench can in fact severe an abs cord from the sensor unit which is obviously what happened. I told them to replace the part and they wanted a $150. I replaced the part myself for $35 and 1 hour of time (which most shops charge $90 a hour). While replacing the sensor which is absurdly easy I found out that the only way the cord could have been severed was by the belle technician. The Alignment was $100 dealing with Belle Tire was the worst shop experience I have had. Pictures available upon request.

      We are sorry to hear of ******************** experience and apologize for his troubles. I am very familiar with the suspension set up and alignment procedure for ******************** 2008 ***** Odyssey. While highly unlikely that the *** wire was severed during the alignment process, anything is possible. In Addition, had the lights been on prior or post service, ************** should have seen them on. I will move forward with processing a refund to **************** for his wheel alignment. He should see his reimbursement check with in the Next 10 Business days

      The company had my ************ in there possession and now will not produce the footage to suppose i took the ************ with me. . They also said they was in the vehicle when I brought them but they was not i brought them in another vehicle. I would like the footage to confirm I me personally took the tires and tires. 5 17 *********************** never reached out to me after i had the 5 tires and rims swapped out on my girls jeep. They changed them out mid june right be4 my girls birthday. I want Belle tire to take responsibility and show how those 5 ************ disappeared. I did not take them. If they cant produce footage of the tires leaving the building i want to take further actions.

      To Whom it may concern,We are aware of ****************** claim. We did in fact service a 2013 Jeep Wrangler on 6/25/2022 (invoice ******** attached). According to the invoice we swapped 5 wheels that the customer supplied. These wheels where inside the vehicle when the vehicle arrived. We did not keep the customer's wheels or tires. We do offer a 6 month storage program for a ****** a term. The customer did not purchase or pay for this service. Our store employee vividly remembers loading them into a van for this customer.The customer did contact our office on 11/22/2022 with the statement that he has called the store several times in the last six months to confirm the wheels and tires were still at the store? However, when we reviewed the call log, the customer called the store on 11/1/2022 and stated: "I got a quick question. I had came in and got some tires put on my girls. Jeep. And left the other ones there, and she kind of didn't remind me. So I'm trying to figure out if you guys still have them sitting there. There's a 17 inch 17 inch black with some just some regular tires. She actually bought the tires from you guys there." This was his one and only call he made to the store about these wheels Between 6/25/2022 and 11/1/2022.At this time, we cannot accept responsibility for ****************** wheels. we have no information or proof stating we ever had them in our possession after 6/25/2022.

      I would like compensation for five rims, 17 inch and five tires four of them that were purchased from the ******************* Belle tire location from my girl and one was a 35 inch mud tire that was brand new on the back of the vehicle.  Im not asking for anything thats not mine. Im not asking for anything free. Im only asking for what is owed to me..  Pay for the tires my girl bought at that location four of them and also 1 35 inch mud tire. Also 5 17 inch black rims. I spoke with **** in customer service. He said he was going to reach out to lost prevention and find video footage of when the tires left the store but I dont have any footage to support when the tires left the store only random workers saying I took them..  I wouldnt be asking for these tires and rims if I already had them. I want Bille Tire to take responsibility and letting the tires leaving the store .  Please take responsibility in the issue at hand..  Ive wasted enough time going back-and-forth, trying to get property thats owed to me.  Lost prevention is more than welcome to step in and show footage of when and where the tires went. If they can produce  who took them from the store, that would be amazing and this would close our issue altogether.  Compensate me for 5 17inch black rims and four all season tires and one 35 inch mud tire. The story that the belle tire location has doesnt make since.  I  spoke with **** in customer service, and he agreed. ******************** in ************* ******** needs to take responsibility in the loss.

      10/22/22- had 4 new tires put on at **************** ** location. Went back for one valve stem replacement due to losing air over a short period. Instead of checking the valve stems remaining, they sent us out the door fixed and the 3 others all leak still. ******************* the manager was extremely rude in helping to resolve the remaining issue of the rest of the leaking valve stems. As part of the mounting/balancing/labor/replacement part cost per tire, one would rightfully assume the valve stems would be replaced. They claim they would replace them for an extra cost if the customer requested at time of original work done. While it took some time to get them to replace in a timely manner, and no extra cost. Manager first told us we were going to have to wait over a week until they could look at the truck. Should have just did the job right in the first place. And did I mention ******************* the manager was not one bit professional? Will not be using belle tire after this experience.
