My mom was receiving so many offers from Panther so she asked me to help her to apply online. We used the latest offer code, usually highlighted in yellow at the bottom of the offer letter. We entered all the info asked for and as we approached the end of the application right before having to press Submit, the webpage went glitchy and froze. It finally refreshed and a message appeared stating they received my moms application and someone would contact her the next business day. The next day came and went. My mom waited 2 days then attempted to call the customer support line. A recording stating we have identified your application by the phone number you dialed from. A representative will reach out to you in 1-2 business days or something to that affect. Wed get the same message with every attempt for the next 2 weeks afterwards. Nothing. We tried to even make our calls at different times from early morning to late evening, and still the same recording. Its now been a little over 2 months since she applied online and no one has contacted my mom. Now, my mom is going to have to pull her credit report from all 3 bureaus, so that she can check if theres been any attempt to use her info. Why hasnt the BBB, along with all the 3 credit bureaus, done anything about this?! Its fraud, a horrible scam preying on the elderly, and false advertisement. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!!!

I'm 72 years old and had to stop working at age 70 to care for my mother, age 92, when she fell and sustained a concussion and two brain bleeds. Mom did not have financial sufficiency to take care of herself or her home. I had been sending her a monthly allowance for years, and even though she seemed to live okay, I didn't know the true condition of her home until I moved in with her to take care of her. When I stopped working to care for mom, I only owed a mortgage, plus around $3,000 in low interest credit card debt. Within months of moving in to take care of mom, I had exhausted all my cash and I began living on credit cards. After two years, my balances and the interest rates completely blew me out of the water! I had to go back to work 6 months ago and hire a caregiver for mom who still wanted to remain in her home. I have never had such high credit card debt, and the interest rates?!!! OMG!! When I received the flyer from Panther, I thought, "Well, maybe this could be the help I need." I felt that my credit score could handle a debt consolidation loan, and my former income was now boosted due to going back to work, so I thought Panther might be helpful.Thank God that I did my research through BBB and found helpful reviews. As a result, I tore up the flyer I received from Panther, and decided to call my bank where I do quailify for a reduction in interest rates on my existing credit cards - not much of a reduction, but every little bit helps - especially when dealing with a legitimate agency. Now, I'm looking into a home equity line of credit for bill consolidation which looks promising. I'll be shopping more in that direction over the next few weeks and I'm encouraged that something will work out that is a solid direction for my financial needs.I believe in the services of BBB and I encourage everyone looking for financial help to research, research, research before making a quick financial decision that could be far too costly.

Thank God for reviews. To many in agreement is enough evidence for me that they work for darkness and deceit.

Other reviewers are correct. It's a Credit Counseling funnel using the Consolidation Loan offer as bait. My situation is particularly obvious - I make a very handsome salary, have a FICO of around 775 (depending on which credit bureau), am a home-owner of over 20-years, and have a debt far, far below my income.I also told 2 levels of screeners that I was interested only in their Debt Consolidation loan and only at the advertised rate, not in Credit Counseling (a form of pre-bankruptcy declaration for those unfamiliar). But they ending up telling me with sadness that I qualified only for "debt restructuring" through "SandStone Law Firm". This while legitimate lenders are offering me 5-8% depending on terms (vs Panthers' lie of 3.86%).Don't waste your time with Panther Lending. If I don't "qualify", who does?

I am SO GLAD I checked Panther reviews here first! I opened my laptop to look into this amazing loan offer I got from them in the mail and something told me to check them out first! I am just looking to consolidate my credit cards into one payment. I am sorry to hear some people got burned. After reading these reviews I threw my mail in the trash! The government needs to shut these scammers down! I am giving a 1 star for the company but 5 stars for bbb reviews!

I received the offer letter for a lower interest rate and decided to do my research starting here. Thank you for the information and the platform for others to also express the same concerns and issues. This saved me from the c*** inquiries and calls. If this information is helpful continue to post to help others!

How I got where I am today credit score wise is due to the rise in interest rates, unforeseen expenses medically and within the home. That said I know my credit score and there is no way in the world anyone would loan the amount and interest rate advertised. Very misleading preying on people in desperate situations. Shame on you.

So what's keeping Panther Lending from providing the information asked for by potential clients, e.g. SCC no., registration status, address, etc. How come the ** government agency overseeing such lending institutions has not yet looked into this? Also, how did they get our names and address? Anything response they make is doubtful.

Im not sure the name Panther, an extremely successful and competent Predator, is a great name for a lending business that offers a deal too good to be true, even better than what my member owned ************ can offer. If you want to catch more fish, use a better lure.
