Just before Xmas, my car was trapped in the garage due to a broken cable. Precision Door sent a repairman out within 5 hours of my call to assess my situation. The tech was knowledgeable, helpful, and honest in admitting that his job was more in line of a sales rep. than of a repairman. Having previously repaired the heavy wooden garage door, I agreed that it was time to get a new steel garage door and opener. I was scheduled for the Tues. after Xmas to replace my door and genie opener, but due to the winter storm and the flu workers were unable to come until Fri., Dec. 30, 2022. I could have been squeezed in on Thurs., but I didn't want them to be in a rush. The new repairman arrived promptly on Fri. morning. He was a newbie to the company, but had had 4 months of training in installing doors for Precision Door. He did find camera wires near the steel supports holding the old cables, so not wanting to cut the wires called for another man to briefly assist him. I appreciated his concern, and overall this worker did an excellent job of installing the garage door, cables, and the electric door opener. He, also, took time to explain the garage door sensors and openers. It took 4 hours to complete this job, and I sensed his boss was anxious for this tech to be on his way. The only surprise I had was that there was no door handle on the new door unlike my old door. Precision Door assured me that if I want an interior handle, they will come out and install one for no charge after a follow-up call to see if I was satisfied with the work completed. My only complaint is I dislike having to communicate through a call service. When I had the problem with the no show, my calls were dropped twice and had no idea who could help me. It is still a mystery to me in terms of who is in charge of the ************ area. Their main office is in Caledonia. Overall, I give the workers an A in their skill, and management a B. Anyway, I do like my door. Thank you.

Very easy to set up appointment via phone call. Technician, *********************, showed up on time after a courtesy text. He quickly evaluated the problem and gave me choices to remedy the issue. The requested fixes were performed quickly. He showed the finished product. Explained how to maintain it. Provided the proper product to maintain it. Then, upon request, explained where I went wrong how things got so messed up. The warranty was explained and payment was very easy.Precision Garage Door of West Michigan
