Very disappointed. Less than 40K miles on my truck and my lifter broke. Repairs were quoted at $4,700. Mechanics state is clearly a manufacturing issue. I complain, they knock off $1,300 (which I am grateful for) and tell me I can seek more from GMC Corporation. I twice confirm that accepting this reduction will not prevent me from receiving additional assistance. I contact the number they tell me to call (which works for GMC but is not GMC) and they tell me since I already received assistance, I'm not eligible for anything more. I ask to speak with supervisor and he calls me back but does not leave a phone number or way to contact him. I call back through the original line to have him call me and eventually speak with him. He won't tell me the name of the company he actually works for, wouldn't provide me with a phone number for him, and said they had contacted the dealership that did the repair (which I do not believe because I spoke with dealerships day before and they said nobody had contacted them), and denied my claim. I researched online and found a class action lawsuit (******************** General Motors) for the exact same issue. I brought that to the attention of the "Supervisor ******" and he said my truck did not qualify as a "lemon" in **********. I explained I just wanted some help with the cost of the repair and an assurance that any similar or related repairs would be covered and he refused. I am a previous owner of GMs (from a family of GM vehicle owners) and we (and my family) will NEVER purchase or support GM again. The "customer service" I was provided was an absolute joke. If someone provides a product that is deficient, they should just own it and fix the issue.

I purchased a 2020 GMC Terrain in September of 2020. Since my purchase I have been having the same ongoing issue (rattling noise) from the left side of the vehicle. I took the vehicle to the dealership initially purchased in which after multiple visits was told it was fixed.it wasnt. I moved out of state, took it to another dealership for same issue and multiple visits, which I was informed it was fixedit wasnt. Mind you I am having to pay out of pocket (I have an extended warranty). Now its at another dealership which also said they fixed the problem I paid over $300 for repairs, within days had to return my vehicle back and now they are saying I have to pay over $500. I am beyond frustrated, angry, disappointed, and confused that I continue having to pay for a repair that was supposed to be fix almost 4 years ago. GMC is refusing to reimburse me, or offer any assistance, but honestly I shouldnt have to continue paying for the same issue. I have been having a rental car for more than two weeks, that I hope I will get reimbursed for, but again thats me having to spend money I dont have. I have submitted service records showing the multiple visits and payments made for this issue. This experience is souring my relationship with GM as a brand. If I ever need another vehicle I definitely will not consider a GM vehicle as much as I have an affinity for them. Sad that they are more concerned about money than doing right by the customer

Very disappointed with General Motors parts production. I ordered a rebuild from crate 6.2L engine through my GMC dealership for my 2014 GMC ****** 1500 on Feb 1, 2024 and as of today, April 30th, 2024, still no parts have come in. Well only to have the dealership contact GM and find out that they are expecting to possibly have the part in November! Ive made payment on parts that were ordered so Im out money for parts, and just sitting here with no vehicle and money out of my pocket as well. This is absolutely ridiculous and way too long of a wait for parts!!!

I bought a 2021 Silverado 1500 with an 8 speed transmission. I have recently found out that they have had and are still having problems with these transmissions. No where in the owners manual or on the trucks information system does it let you know that the transmission fluid needs to be changed every ****** miles. I recently had mine changed, at a ***** dealer, at a cost of $1300.00. THIS ISSUE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Being a ***** person for many years and with the cost of vehicles today, I can not believe that ***** has not fixed the problems with these transmissions and recalled the ones that have already on the road.

My most recent GMC purchase has been my most disappointing one yet. I purchased a Certified Pre Owned GMC Yukon that arrived with defects missed during the 172 point inspection including a defective driver's seat, a leaking antenna, clogged sunroof and non working drive assist system. The result has been thousands of dollars in repairs and I am still left with a defective driver's seat after 3 diagnosis appointments at Certified Dealers and 4 repair attempts. GMC no longer makes this seat, is unwilling to help despite it being a safety issue and the result of a non-fixed recall and the result is chronic pain as it has caused me an injury. The steel bar at the bottom of the back of the seat protrudes through the foam and hits me in the tail bone every time I drive. I have endured many hours of physical therapy, chiropractor appointments, x-rays, an MRI and the unfortunate reality that I now have chronic pain because of the seat issue. GMC has done nothing to help, they opened a case to appease me and have offered zero solutions, and the dealership literally told me my only option is to get out of it. It is my 5th and last GMC, they do not care at all about their customers.

I purchased a brand 2024 new ***** trailblazer with only 12miles on it back in January only drove it 900 miles when the torque converter and transmission went bad they only fixed the torque converter it was in the shop 2 weeks before I got I back. It ran good for 4 days then started cutting out skipping , bucking , vibe rating all over again. Took it back to the garage it has been there for 4 weeks now. I have filed a complaint with the main company requesting a new replacement vehicle and they have not honored this request as of yet. I have never seen such poor quality in a vehicle ever in my life. I cant believe I am paying on a brand new vehicle that I can not even drive and these people will not replace this with a new one. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT !!!!!!!

GM should be ashamed of themselves for delivering a defective Lyriq to the customer. Being a gigantic car industry dealer, they cheat customers with poor customer service. They dont have guts to talk to the customer to listen to them. ****** who is the leadership team person doesnt care.Cadillac Lyriq is one of the failure car designed by GM

I bought a car from ********** at ************************************************************************ that was produced by GM Corporation and it turned out to be lemon with tons of different flaws in the body of the car and power train. It had factory damage engine oil consumption, heater and A/C problems ,airbag problems. They kept the car for 31 days and they havent done anything. I tried several times to resolve. Neither Alpine dealership nor GM corporation want to take the responsibility. This is absolutely absurd for the company of this scope.

On way to ******** my car engine lights came on for 3rd time in a matter of months (all times addressed at GMC) we had to stop in ***** at a GMC dealer, we couldnt take my car. We had to get a rental to get to ****** then have to return the car to *****. No update on when my car will be ready needs a whole new engine 2022 Yukon XL bought brand new. GMC has been completely unprofessional I spent all day on the phone trying to figure out what we need to do to get home yesterday. I spoke to a ****** twice who was so rude telling me good luck call Toledo dealer and create a paper trail and that sense Covid car rental places are low, so we have to drive rental back to ***** and figure it out from there and now here we are stranded in ****** having to drive to ***** with no rental to get home and no flights. GMC pretty much saying your out of luck and you have no rental or way home. ****** calls me back today I asked for a manager yesterday twice and wont even let me speak cause I said I wanted to speak to a manager not him so if I spoke at all he said are you speaking, do you want to speak to me or not over and over it was like talking to a child but I couldnt speak and then tells me well a manager wont contact you for another 24 hrs ??. I even asked if we could just return rental here and fly home from ****** and not have to drive back to *****..nope.
