1 starBeen dealing with a manufacturer defect for almost 5 months about paint shipping your door I told them it's a manufacturer defect for the paint it's a 2015 ***** Silverado **** I went to two Auto bodies one that they recommended the people who recommended it said it was General wear and tear I went through insurance insurance says it is a manufacturer defect that they have paint problems with the 2015 models they told me that GM should be covering it reached out to GM several times GM states that it's a general wear and tear it is not General wear and tear I have proof of that on my insurance paper when it went in for the service and now my insurance is denying it I've asked for the service manager of General Motors to call me numerous times they keep putting me off and putting me off now they're saying that they called me the 30th that never happened my phone records show that GM never called me and never left me a voicemail this has been going on for 5 months now with no resolution Meanwhile my paint is getting worse and worse I do not have $1,700 to get this paint repaired I expected better at a General Motors is there something I could do to get them to payReview fromKimberley K

1 star*** WARNING SAFETY HAZARD***I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado that abruptly stops when driving. This is the 3rd time that it has stopped with abrupt hard jerk. I have taken it to the dealership 3 times. The first time it was taken to The ********** Chevrolet (Reliable) it was new tires that I bought and change them back to the original tires. When doing this they did not change my censors from the new tires back to the old. In December of 2022 this happened again and I had to tow my truck to the dealership in ******** (Lakeside) in which they said it was a censor that was broken and was replaced. Per there notes that were read they could not duplicate and hoped this fixed the issue. On 8/17/2023 same thing happened the Brake issue that has been taken to the dealership numerous times. The dealership is stating they can not duplicate the issue and I can come and pick it up even if it is a safety hazard. I reached out to GM in which I spoke with the customer service reps, the first one wrote my information wrong and never followed up. The second time I called I was transferred to the person who is over my case. She does not answer and her phone just rings. I reached back out to Lakeside and they stated I can pick up the truck. I asked this is a safety hazard, are you sure its okay for me to pick up and drive. If the brakes abruptly stop and cause a wreck hurting someone or myself who will take responsibility? I have done my due diligence in contacting and reaching out to the dealership and General Motors with no one taking responsibility or action in getting this fixed. This is a lemon that was sold to me and GM needs to be responsible for the products they make. Lakeside states they are basically working for free and cannot figure it out, I did state I am paying on a vehicle with full coverage insurance that is sitting in your lot with no one trying to figure it out.******** GM DO BETTER*******Review fromLaurel P

1 starGeneral Motors wants no responsibility after you buy their product. I have an oil sensor alarm that will not stop even though I have had my oil pressure diagnosed and is fine and I had the sensor replaced and that wasn't the problem. The problem is in General Motors engineers that you cannot challenge. After $3000 spent they want me to have it rediagnosed. They do not have to be qualified or responsible. No more GM cars for meReview fromSalvatore M

1 starI purchased a brand new 2019 ***** Silverado. I keep the truck in the garage its immaculate but the factory runningboards that they put on from the factory are chrome and where the plastic inserts are for stepping into the vehicle. The chrome is blistering around the plastic insert. I was told by corporation hotline that they dont know if the runningboards would be covered under corrosion. This is c*** that you install accessories from the factory that arent covered under corrosion on something that is surely a manufacture defectReview fromTara V

1 starHello General Motors/Buick, I recently purchased my 2018 Buick Enclave in October 2022. Todays date is August 9th, 2023. I have all the paperwork, repairs & receipts. The 1st thing that went wrong within two weeks of owning it was the brake ************* needing replaced! Three weeks later the brake ************* are needing replaced again so I had them changed the second time, two months after, We had the brake ************* replaced again for the 3rd time. 4 weeks went by & the Brake ************* were replaced again for the 4th time! I started having trouble going up a hill & took it in for *************** told me that it is the Torque Converter that needed replaced, ******************* 3 days after they fixed it the shaking was back again! Buick found the fuel system needed cleaned. I had them perform the fuel system service. Then about a month later it resorted back to the same condition but worse! We are now in May 2023. They found that the control arms needed replaced & all the spark Plugs!! We go into June 2023 the *************** start grinding again after the 5th brake job within less than a year. 2 weeks after the repairs, The Buick Enclave starts acting up again & the check engine light came on so I took it back in for a ************* said it was a *********** needed a new coil pack, so I had Rice Buick GMC replace that. The bill has been already at $6000 that we have spent repairing everything & keeps going! I finally got the brake job done & now its been a week into fixing the Brembo brake pads I had specially ordered from a different company through GM & the ****************** are grinding severely again! August 2023 the brake ************* are still grinding & the check engine light is on & it wont shift gears!! My Oil keeps draining out of the vehicle before the scheduled oil changes every ***** miles! We have had numerous attempts for the Buick enclave to be repaired properly & Rice Buick GMC has failed to replace the defective parts!!!Review fromVee W

1 starReceived a letter concerning my vehicle right when the warranty expired. Was told to take it by the dealership only. So, I did exactly what the letter said. Was told by local dealership to drop off car in Friday. There was no loaner car. Called next day to check status. I was told technician assigned to the vehicle was off. I am dumbfounded. Called General Motors and was basically told I may get reimbursed for a rental. After going the whole weekend without a vehicle, I call Monday and found out the technician was not there again. Oh, and hes actually off until Thursday, so I call General Motors again and got a woman with an attitude and basically told me we may reimburse youand the message was loud and clear.deal with it. So, I did. I usually purchase ****** or ******* However, with *****, wanted to support the technically America made car. General Motors, thank you for saving me the money of the upgrade I was going to doeventually America will get tired of customer no service. Look at Eastern Air lines. Look at all the other business that are closing. People no longer need a dealership or buy new anymore. Remember that, when things are not totally entitled to your company. Meaning, the greater thing about America is, we still have a choice as to where we spend our hard earned monies. I got my car back, and will NEVERpurchase a GMC product again. ****** learned loud and clear.Review fromJohn W

1 starWe put a deposit down on a ***** Bolt EUV in mid-April. We were told we would get our car within 12 weeks. Now it turns out it will take between 6-7 months.I respect the dealership Im working with. However, gm has no regard for its customers.I went on line and did a search for the same car and one came up that was unspoken for in Ma. How in gods name can gm send cars for which deposits have been made to dealers without preordered cars? Shouldnt committed buyers have priority?
