GM customer service has gone down hill! I'm now 5 months waiting for a grill and there's no end in site. Their Customer Care team does NOT care. My complaint is similar to everyone else's. Waiting on a part, my truck was sitting for 3 months, and I was still responsible for the monthly payments. I'm a long time customer of GM with well over 1,000,000 spent on vehicles over the years but that stops. HEY GM IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS THEN WE WILL GO BUY FROM YOUR COMPETITORS!!!! I hope more people continue to post negative complaints anywhere and everywhere. I could write a novel as my experience has been beyond awful. I even emailed the *** and got a response from yet another incompetent customer service rep who did NOT advocate for me the customer. Hopefully one person reads this and changes their mind about purchasing a GM product.

I purchased a 2022 Yukon Denali in late September 2022. Fast forward to January 2022, the lifters in the car fail. I take it to my local GM dealer (where i purchased it). They tell me the lifters failed and it would be a 2 week turn around to have my car repaired. It has now been 30 days. I still do not have my car back. The dealership said they repaired the lifters in the vehicle and also had to replace something in the transmission! Once the lifters were replaced the tech said the engine was still "knocking" and they had attempted to fix it 3 times but they can't figure out what is wrong. GM sent their glorified "field tech" to the dealership all for him to say more tests need to be run and that they still do not know what is wrong with the engine. My husband has been talking with a GM rep for the past 2 weeks getting jerked around and told that she will have to call him back in two business days once she speaks to upper management. ZERO resolution has been given to us on the issue. This is an $80,000 vehicle that I have been unable to drive for a month and the dealership service center has zero answers as to what is wrong with the engine. At this point GM just needs to do a buyback, which we've been trying to accomplish for 2 weeks!!

** has demonstrated their lack of concern for their customers on many levels. I am new to the ** product line with a very expensive vehicle which is loaded with all the options. I have had issues with OTA updates and have made numerous contacts with ** to assist with the issues. They have refused to assist and only provide me with incompetent customer service reps. ** would think they would provide an adequate service to their consumers to instill and/or maintain a positive working relationship with them. But **< has dropped the ball in my case. They have probably lost a customer, but I am only one customer so I am sure it does not matter to them.

Worse company to do business with. ******* car dealer in *************, kept breaking things and making changes to my vehicles when I didnt approve it. They kept my car for almost two weeks and I had to get another car in the end. For all my troubles they have a $100 voucher for my problems. I also forgot to mention I had to use their credit card, which I had to also pay $3,500. So, yes, I told their customer service department they could shove that voucher up their a** I would expect to have at least a 50% discount for all the troubles. So, I would suggest not to buy from them as they are cheaters when it comes to coat and doing a good job when your car needs work done.

Vehicle shift lever, part # ********, will not go into mode to allow keys to be removed from ignition. Will only go into the accessory mode which will allow the battery to run down if *************. Have to restart and move shift lever back and forth multiple times before keys can be removed. This seems to be a continuing problem on ***** Colorados and GMC Canyons according to various *****/GMC owner complaints. Almost have pointed back to the part number above.

I bought a 2022 ***** Tahoe Z71 back in January 2022. It only has ****** miles on it and it has been to the dealership multiple times for the radio going in and out, a service safety restraint system message flashing on my dash and now the panel with the sunroof/dome lights doesnt work. The last time it was at the dealership, they said that they can not fix it and that GM has no idea what is wrong with it and that we needed to contact GM because it was a safety issue. After we contacted GM and started a case, we had to call multiple times a week asking for an update. The guy at GM said that our buyback is in a different category because it could not be fixed. The next day he called and said GM denied our buyback. We have asked to speak to someone else but he refused to give us another number to call, but then thanked us for being a valued GM customer. We have reached out to the attorney general and are waiting to see what our next step is. GM doesnt care about their customers, especially if its a safety issue. I will never buy another GM product ever again!

Maker of faulty automobiles and company that is unable to fulfill warranty repairs on customer vehicles due to inability to secure foreign-made parts. Nearly 3 months to replace a faulty torque converter in a relatively new vehicle.

Absolute Worst! Bought a 2019 Tahoe Premier and have been waiting of an airbag and head liner for more than 6 months! GM has told me twice since Oct. my part was shipped with absolutely no update. Now it could be months before my part comes in. All this time Im still making my monthly payments/insurance. I get no updates and no help and GM doesnt seem to care one bit!

If there was a negative 5 stars I would definitely give that rating instead. Horrible customer service. Ive been waiting for my reimbursement to get approved for two months, after being told by the customer service rep that it usually takes 4-6 weeks. It still is In process awaiting approval. And Ive been told theyre backed up from the holidays? Its a ridiculous excuse considering Ive been waiting since before Christmas.

2020 2500HD ***** Silverado - transmission broke for no reason on 12/31/2022! It was towed to a local dealership (not the one we bought it from), the dealership has been fair and done everything we could. GM was contacted and case was started after we contacted our local dealership we bought the truck from. They are located in ************* ** and have done absolutely nothing to help **! Finally we were told by the dealership with our truck to create a case, *** 11th contacted GM and created the case. We have had to call them everyday and this was the communication department at GM. They told us the part was ordered and it's on backorder. The estimated delivery is from Jan ***** but they can't tell us where the part is or anything else. Its now been escalated but everything at at GM takes ***** hours. They don't stand by their product at all. This has been a terrible situation and we are out of a truck for 3 weeks now and we run our business out of this truck. Very disappointed!
