      Bought new 2023 LT ********* 3.0 Duramax 11/18/22. By 11/25/22 it was in the shop for a check engine light. ****** stated the code corrected itself after being in the shop for 5 days. Took it home and drove it 700 more miles before the check engine light came back in this time for emissions this was on 12/24/22. The vehicle has been at the shop since have spoke to GM who refused to stand by their vehicle and did not offer any assistance what so ever! I ended up buying another new vehicle as mine is still in the shop. Talked to service advisor at my Chevrolet dealership who advised they have had vehicles with the 3.0 Duramax coming into the service center non stop! STAY AWAY FROM THE 3.0 DURAMAX, and honestly GM Id you can help it!

      I have always been a fan of GM and purchased GM cars most of my life. I just read on Real America's Voice that GM is providing grants to elementary school teachers to train elementary students for LGBTQ activism. Shame on them to promote this on young children who are incapable of understanding the consequences of these life changing decisions. I am disgusted and disappointed in GM for partaking in this. I will never buy another GM product again.

      So try to buy a 2023 **********, I am a GM employee. Because I dont want all the dealer add ons (extended warranty, gap insurance) the dealer refused to sell me the car. Wonder how much more cars GM would sell if they had dealers that stopped gouging customers. Use to be a GM cared about employees as ambassadors for the company.

      WE PURCHASED TWO BRAND NEW VEHICLES FROM ***** (******** to be exact and had a great experience on 8/2021 and 1/2022 ) WE HAVE ONLY HAD THE TRUCK SERVICED ONCE THIS YEAR BY ****************** DUE TO LOCATION. WE HAD THE OTHER SERVICED A FEW TIMES AND IT WAS ONLY EVER SERVICED BY AGAIN, ************! NO ONE ELSE HAS TOUCHED OUR VEHICLES.ISSUE 1- THEY WILL SCRATCH YOUR ***S WHEN ROTATING TIRES AND TRY TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND THEN TRY TO FIX THEIR MESS UP ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND DRIVE THE *** OVER 100 MILES FINDING SOMEONE TO FIX THEIR MESS UP WITHOUT EVEN TELLING US THEY WERE DRIVING MY *** TO SCOTTSVILLE ON TWO OCCASIONS PUTTING OVER 100 MILES ON MY BRAND NEW VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHES ON MY POWDER COATED *** PREVIOUSLY BECAUSE IT WAS A BRAND NEW VEHICLE ONLY SERVICED WITH A *****/GM DEALER!THE GM, *****, GAVE US HIS WORD THAT HE WOULD BE THERE ON THE *** OF THE THIRD TIME OF MY *** "TRYING" TO GET FIXED!" HE WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND AND LIED ABOUT GIVING HIS PERSONAL GUARENTEE ABOUT IT BEING FIXED CORRECTLY AND TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR PUTTING OVER 100 MILES ON MY BRAND NEW VEHCILE WITHOUT CONSENTING WITH ME FIRST UNDER MY INSURNACE. SINCE ***** WAS **** I FOUND THE ***** MANAGER, *********************, AND HE OFFERED A FREE FUEL UP AND OIL CHANGE FOR ***** NOT BEING AROUND AND THE ISSUES OF THEM TAKING MY *** ON MULTIPLE OOCCASIONS WHEN WE WERE TOLD THE *** DOCTOR WAS COMIMG TO ******.THE BEST PART IS WHEN YOU CALL ****** NUMBER LISTED ON THE ************ WEBSITE, ************ - *************************** IS THE ONE WHO ANSWERED EVEN THOUGH SHE WILL DENY IT WAS HER AND ARGUED, I MEAN ARGUED WITH ME AND SAID I HAD THE WRONG NUMBER. I LEFT VOICEMAILS FOR ***** WITH NO RETURN CALLS BUT ONCE IN THE BEGINNING WHEN GIVING US HIS GUARENTEE THAT HE WOULD BE THERE AND WASNT. HOW PATHETIC! I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THE NUMBER LISTED ON THE WEBSITE AND WHEN I CALLED WHEN THE **** WAS ARGUING BY SAYING THE NUMBER IS WRONG ON THE ***** WEBSITE! MIND IS BLOWN!WHAT A SHADY BUSINESS!

      THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. THEY PROMOTE THAT THEY BUILD THE BEST TRUCKS AND CARE SOO MUCH ABOUT THE CUSTOMER WHICH IS ALL BS. I BOUGHT A 2022 DURAMAX TO USE FOR MY BUSINESS. LESS THAN A YEAR IT HAS BEEN IN THE **** MORE THAN 5 TIMES AND THEY COULDNT CARE LESS. AS OF RIGHT NOW MY TRUCK HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE DEALER WAITING FOR REPAIRS OVER A MONTH NOW. I AM ON THE ***** OR LOSING MY COMPANY DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO FULFILL ANY NEEDS. THEY CONSTANTLY SAY THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME WHICH IS ANOTHER LIE. OUT OF THE ENTIRE MONTH THEY HAVE NOT CALLED ME ONCE ITS ALWAYS ME CALLING NON STOP LOOKING FOR ANSWERS. MY ADVICE IS STAY AWAY DO YOURSELF A FAVOR !!!

      Having had multiple issues with GM Dealers and Transmission issues, I reached out twice to the Executive Referral Team a third-party source I believe. I even gave upper management the chance to offer any resolution. After making this decision, to write my review, I was very surprised at the grades left at this site, the BBB. I remember years ago when American Car Manufactures started losing sales to imports. Mostly due to quality issues. Much hasn't changed. I've been GM all of my 65 years. My father even worked for a GM dealership for over 25 years. A very sad time for manufacturing. Same problems, same attitude. Sale and then forget. We as a Nation can do better!

      GM does not service what it sells.Our 2020 Cadillac CT-6 has a problem with it's Night Vision System, which is a high-priced option. Dealer in ********************* ** says they can't restore system without a "special tool" only available on loan from GM. They have waited months for the tool with an increasing backlog of customers with defect issues with this expensive but problem prone system. The local service department reports that they have no idea when or IF they will receive the tool. Meanwhile the expensive system is worthless. GM needs to get their stuff together and provide both reliable products & dependable service. Both are not available at this time.Our lease is up in March 2023 & we are considering going back to BMWs for future transportation needs.

      Leased 2022 Bolt EUV in July 2021. In August 2021 we received the recall notice for battery replacement. A software update was completed that limits battery charge to 80% of capacity as a safety measure. The recall has been in effect for almost 1.5 years! And we have heard nothing from GM ***** for several months. In spite of the 80% performance limitation, we have paid 100% of the lease payment every month! This was our first GM car and I suspect it will be our last. How can they tell us the battery is not safe at full charge, issue the recall and then disappear!?

      Bought brand new 2021 Tahoe High Country. At ****** had a cracked rim. GM refused to fix it. At ****** had a 2nd cracked rim. GM would neither respond to the dealership service app requesting a replacement nor would they return my many calls.I spend a total of 6 months dealing with rim-tire issues. Shame on GM for treating their customers (who Ive been for 25 years!) like this. Dont buy GM products. I went yesterday to trade for Infiniti and the customer service is exceptional! No more GM for me

      427 Corvette...Will not stand behind their product Purchased new in 2013 a 427 Corvette convertible. Had had minor issues that were all taken care of under warranty. Last Friday night 10/2/2022 I was sitting at a stop light and the engine failed. I had the car towed to Chevrolet with only ****** miles on the vehicle. I drive this car less than **** miles per year and it is garage kept. Chevrolet informed me that the valve spring on the number eight cylinder failed and subsequently caused damage to the intake and injector and all had to be replaced at a cost of over $1800. I brought up that this vehicle only has ****** miles on the odometer and inquired to General Motors corporation if they would stand behind their flagship vehicle and help with some of the repairs since it has been well documented that valve springs have been known to fail on these motors. I was told by General Motors corporation that since the vehicle is a 2013 they will not warrantee any work or help me in anyway due to the age of the vehicle. They refused to talk about the low mileage and condition of the vehicle and would only state that I am out of luck due to the age of the vehicle. I was currently in the market to buy a new truck from Chevrolet and now I will walk away from General Motors for not standing behind their flagship product. I was not asking for a complete warranty repair, I even offered to pay labor if ***** would pay for the parts. And they still refused and told me it is not their concern and that they have reached their decision. Thank you General Motors corporation for completely souring me, a lifelong Chevrolet purchaser and owner of nine Corvettes on purchasing any of your products in the future.
