      If i could give less than one star i would, do NOT waste your money supporting this rip off of a company. They will NOT cover anything regardless of what their plan says or you are told. Read all the reviews and see they back this one up. Total rip off and scam. I wish the criminal activity would be stopped as it is fraudulent to say the least.

      I would give this company negative reviews if possible. They are a scam. We have purchased this plan over & over in hopes it would be safe to have it & they would fulfill the guarantee but they never have. We had one furniture store manager replace furniture bc of our loyalty to that location but outside of that guardsman has never provided any type of repair or replacement as promised. How they are able to continue operating is appauling. The furniture stores that still sell this policy is doing their customers a disservice & definitely losing my business.

      Purchased a 5 year complete protection plan, fabric warranty for 219.00usd. Filed a claim for a small hole in my sofa and was denied the claim, despite the plan covering pet damage. I will never recommend this company or purchase another warranty for furniture through Guardsman again.

      Terrible Experience- stay away! I purchased the protection plan for my dining table that clearly states it covers any wood chipping. Well within months it started chipping. I filed a claim and after a month I just got an email saying sorry its not covered. I've been trying to get a hold of them to figure out why and its been impossible. They don't answer the phone, have horrible customer service and complete fraud company.

      We purchased the 5 year Guardsman Protection Plan for $376.46. Our recliner has broke under this plan and they refuse to have a technician come to our house to repair it or as they state replace it. They do not service our area. Why would the Furniture store ***********, in *********, sell a service when Guardsman is located in ************, ** 5 hours away. Also why cant I make a BBB complaint and only leave a review? This is a scam and for the salesperson to get a commission knowing that there is no company nearby. And why doesn't *********** send their technician to fix it who is 30 minutes away. My next complaint! Our calls and emails are ignored and if you talk to someone they are rude!

      Still waiting 5 months for them the fix my couch. We can not sit on a part of it because it is broken. I have called so many times and they said that it would be 8 weeks to get the part. After 9 weeks I called and they said they they didnt put in the claim yet because the person who came out did not get good pictures. Now we have to wait another 8 weeks because someone didnt do a good job. No one called us to let us know. Is this takes your money and does not help with the problem. So disappointed.

      Guardsman is absolute scum of the earth. Filed a claim on 1/31/25, never heard anything from the until I called on 2/27/25. They stated the receipt I submitted was no good. I resubmitted on 2/28/25 and they stated it was past the 30 day period to submit all documentation. Denied my claim and refuses to let me speak to a supervisor or manager. I will never buy anything from this horrid Company ever again!

      If I could, there would be NO star! Scam company! Why isn't the BBB looking into it?! Bought furnature, I could exchange for ANY reason. They denied my claim. I bought furnature for over $1700 and they offered me $300 then wanted me to pay them to remove wore out furnature!! BBB IF YOU EXSIST! HELP ALL OF US GET OUR MONEY BACK!!

      I cannot recommend this company. I have called repeatedly and asked for a report of the status quo of my claim. It takes a long time before anyone answers the phone, and because I am hearing impaired I cannot easily understand whomever I speak with and have to ask, "Please repeat." The mechanism of an expensive recliner is not working and I have requested to speak to someone about an approximate time/date to expect a call. I have received no calls and I am the one who initiates the calls to Guardsman without any success for feedback information. If you have the choice of selecting an insurance company, think twice - read the reviews . . . before investing money in this company.

      What a sad company to work for I'm sure. I paid close to $500 on my furniture warranty and it was a total scam. My claim was instantly denied, it was incredibly difficult to get to speak with anyone, waiting on the phone for a couple of hours and then eventually being told that my barely used furniture with its issue would not be covered, and the reason was evasive and kept circling back to it just isnt covered. total BS. if I could deter even 1 person from getting this coverage, I would be happy.
