My first experience with them and now Im looking for another home warranty business. This companys not covered part is larger than whats covered and make sure you read through jt. Dont know how they can be in business. There is no detailed information whats covered or not besides whats at their website and the not covered area is long. I would not recommend them to anyone.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

The door is listed as a non covered part, and we were not able to assist with this claim. never once I was given the warranty information, besides just a receipt of yearly payment paid. Other warranty covers the total of the dishwasher not just this and that.Why should I have to pay for a diagnostic of $161.08 and then being told this is not covered? how would I know that the dishwasher has cracked in the inner door if I didn't ask a contractor to arrive to check it out? so I'm out of my pocket $161.08, that should've been covered at least the $61.08 ($100 deductible).If you are so great, why is there so many bad reviews on your business practice and customer service? nope, that's not the case.As I said, there is no detailed information on what's covered or not.Also asking contractor if they preferred to be paid by you or by me, that's just very rude. the contractor did tell me that you guys never paid, apparently it's a very common practice. and there's no transparency other than hiding behind a policy that I have yet to received.Review fromK. Unhappy with this company and their practices. I have had to spend money to have a contractor come out to tell them the model and serial numbers. I have been trying to cancel for a week now and they cant seem to respond to that either. Dont choose them.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

We require a verbal diagnosis and estimate from the technician, including make, model, and serial number, to determine coverage under the **********************. I see that after receiving this information from the contractor, we were able to verify the part is still under warranty. Therefore, **** was unable to assist with this claim. I also see that you have spoken with our cancelation department, and your cancelation takes some time to process. Once a refund amount is determined, we will reach out to you with more information. Although we were not able to assist with this claim, you may want to consider the many other items covered under your warranty plan. Correct. The fact that you needed a contractor to verbally give you information that I could have easily provided, is ridiculous. I could have even taken a picture for you- instead I had to wait a week for a contractor to come out, pay him for his time, to be told information that I could have provided. Cancellation should not take that much time. When I started my policy, it was instant. A week after sending in my cancellation, still no word. Scam, dont waste your time. Whats the point of home warranty when they are not willing to pay for basic services. Now I realize why many contractor are not willing to work with this company. Complaint sent to state attorney general office.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

1 starFirst off- AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY TO BE SAFE OR YOUR HOUSE PROTECTED. Due to gross negligence and disregard for my familys welfare, this company blatantly disregarded safety procedures and technical experts advice resulting in a FIRE in our home. Only AFTER the fire would they repair/replace the necessary parts as recommended by the technician. What did they do to make the situation right? They sent me to their lawyer ***************** for assistance. Upon research I found that **** is also the companys **** Presidentso his interest in assisting us went as far as refunding our $100 deductible and basically telling us it wasnt their fault. Then admitting it could have been handled better then it should have been handled better. Even after all this, his resolution was heres your $100 back and if you have another issue, please let me know. Flash forward a few months and a waterline just burst in our home. I opened a claim only to be denied because the plumber said it could have been an issue with the water pressure. Any loophole to avoid helping/paying for anything of course. So I once again called ***************** and asked for his assistance, and surprisingly he wont return my calls. Whether fire or water dont worry- they WONT cover it. Do not trust this company, spend your money on them, or even humor their cheap warranty options. They do not cover anything, they will deny service without giving reason. They'll take your money but will not fulfill any promises.Paid for a technician to come out and service my dishwasher. The fix was easy, needed a new control board. **** denied the coverage, giving no reasons. Fix was easily within their warranty coverage and at a reasonable cost.Again, do not give them your money or business.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

The warranty is in place to assist with the cost of repairing or replacing specific items that fail from normal wear and tear; not all items are covered. The contractor advised that the control panel on the dishwasher has failed. Since the control panel is not listed as a covered part, we are unable to assist with this claim. Although this claim was not approved, the warranty offers coverage on a wide range of items throughout the home and attached garage. Thank you for the response.This is fantastic and enlightening as how your supposed warranty company, and others, operate. I will keep this scheme in mind, and will absolutely avoid you, and other "Warranty" companies in the future. It is so helpful to learn of this exception of a common part after you coerced me into wasting my money on a technician. I have had very positive experiences with the **** claims staff. They have been helpful and extremely polite. My only dissatisfaction is the time it has taken to receive my reimbursement for a claim made a week ago. It was approved the same day as the service and the money was to be transferred directly to my bank account. I am confident the claim will be paid, however, I am used to obtaining money transferred directly to my account within 3 days at the very most.At this time I expect we will continue this Home Warranty after the current one expires, unless there is a change in our satisfaction with the service.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

Received this home warranty when I purchased my condo. Little did I know how invaluable it would become. I have since renewed twice on my own and wouldn't be without *******'s Preferred Home Warranty for small things as well as larger expenses. This company is run as a scam. They wont cover basic functions like the garage door opening, they wont use their last name. They wont let you speak with their supervisor. They wont provide direct phone numbers. They wont provide direct e-mail addresses. In 2022, they want you to send a dispute by mail and the said they would reply BY MAIL! This is pretty obviously to make your policy unredeemable.Additionally, the contractor insisted on payment upfront, because he said they never pay their claims. This, of course, didnt matter to me, because they refused to honor my policy at all.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc.

I have reviewed the claims and contract and see that we have two claims. As described in the brochure, the warranty does not cover general maintenance, which was the only issue noted with the **** claim. Therefore, we were unable to assist with this claim. After looking at the second claim, I see that the contractor advised the springs needed to be replaced; springs are not a covered item with standard coverage. I also see that you transferred to a supervisor right away, and I am pleased they were able to explain that the dispute form would be emailed to you and that you could email the finished dispute back to us for review. Please understand that we do not provide last names, email addresses, or personal information to our clients for the safety and security of our personnel.
