      Consumers Energy was in our town doing some work on gas lines and some planned maintenance. They came to my house and replaced the line after the gas meter leading into the house. My 21 year old daughter had stayed home because Consumers had said they will need to enter the house to relight the pilot lights. The crew of 4 guys stood in our front yard talking and doing nothing for nearly 2 hours then packed up and left without turning my gas back on. I call the hotline when I got home at 4:45 and was told no worries there is a work order already in place and they will be back out to finish the job on 8/18, 2 days after they left the job site. They had thought it was completely acceptable to leave us without hot water for 2 days.

      I got a phone call telling me they were going to shut off my power and I have paid my bills. When I check the next **** I have not received yet and it is not due unit September 9th three weeks from now. Also, we keep losing power and not because of storms. On a nice sunny day we will lose power for a while. The reliability of the power has gotten a lot worst over the years. I wish we had a choice of who we could get power from or at least a little more say in what they do to keep the cost down.

      The company was out to replace a box. Nobody came to the door; nobody showed id; they were driving unmarked cars. They turned off my power which was only for a brief time, yet I was unaware of them even being there. I called and spoke with ***** and she was very helpful and empathized with my feeling. Had a call back from ***** the "supervisor". She was not the least bit interested in my complaints. She was more interested in telling me why I was wrong and making excuses for the workers. Poor customer service!! A simple "I'm sorry that was your experience" would have gone a long way. Sometimes employees are so territorial...they would rather explain why the customer is wrong instead of simply apologizing.
