    0 stars they must not have any customer service. They make it sounds so good and then you get the box and no phone service not even a dial. I have tried to call and message them with no answer. Worst company I ever dealt with.

    Writing this review for my 74 year old grandmother and her 84 year old husband. If we could do 0 stars, it would be splendid. They have had Clear Rate Communications for some time with little issues besides connection problems here and there. When it rains, the phone gets full of static and they cannot always hear through the phones. This brings me to my next area of concern, they received a phone call from someone stating that to keep their landline phone, this box would help them keep it and reduce their bill. This box was received a few days ago and after plugging it in, their phone has not been working. One, the box won't even turn on, and two, their phones now say no connection and they cannot make or receive phone calls. Even after disconnecting and reconnecting, changing phone cords and batteries, and moving the box, the box continues to just get warm and not work properly.Getting in touch with this company is an absolute joke, my grandma waited on the phone for over 30 minutes to speak to a human that never once answered the phone. Emails go unresolved and tickets that are created continue to be ignored. It is a shame that these companies can get away with this, but they do not feel comfortable switching right now because this company has also charged people for devices when they change phone companies. I took photos while I was up at my grandmother's house of the bill and what the box came in, and I am hoping and praying they did not get scammed. This issue and company desperately need to be resolved, especially if they are known for targeting elderly individuals and scamming them as well. Awful.

    Phone is down 75% of the time for past several months cannot get any relief from the customer hotline nor electronically.

    The company is unreachable! We have had no luck nor has the Attorney General in reaching this company. It is a dire NEED now as our Mother who is turning 94 lives alone. She is capable of staying in her own home and doing most all her needs. SHE NEEDS A PHONE that works!!!! We wondering if this is a GHOST company the only bills people.

    Phone calls, voice messages and emails with no response. Never able to contact anyone or actual talk to someone other than the automated system. This is for my 76 year old uncle that hasnt had a phone in two weeks. His bills are paid! This is outrageous! Who do we need to talk to! Whats going on? Are they just taking peoples money!!!?!

    Try to resolve an issue with phone equipment that was sent back to them. Cant get a call back or resolution to this issue. ****************.

    I have trying to contact this company for days regarding my 95 year old mother in law. She was slammed on 10/15/24 by this company telling her att would no longer support her landlines and she had to change to their company . The device was returned to this company on 10/25 without ever being installed or activated. Now they are threatening collection agency unless she pays their bill. I have notified the *** as thus company has been sited for slamming elderly numerous times over the last 2 years

    This company is scamming older people to switch their phone service and then the service is horrible and they dont answer any questions or return emails or anything. They cant use the phone service and you should be ashamed of taking advantage of older people. God is watching and h*** is wide open. Its definitely not even a ONE star but we had to leave a star

    My friend had Clear ************* She is 96 years old and forgot to make a payment. I tried to help. I first tried to set up an account on their website to pay the bill. It required a "Registration Code" that I could only get by email or phoning them. I sent an email and got no reply. I sat on the phone for half an hour and they ended the call with a promise of a call back. I did not receive the call back. I mailed a check for the outstanding amount. They did not cash the check, but they did cancel the phone service completely. I have emailed and phoned once again with no response. Apparently they do not have a customer service department. I will attempt to find another landline telephone service for my friend.
