    If I could rate them as a ZERO I would they have the worst customer service rep and even the supervisor was nasty. the Supervisor *****, *****, **** however he spells his name refuse to give his manager's name, ********* names he also refused to give the address to where I can call or write to higher management about his unwelcoming customer service he showed no concerned that my grandmother had been out of phone service since 08/31/2022 and gave me an expected date of repair 09/09/2022 anytime I called in for phone repairs I informed the rep that my grandmother has a life alert and if her phone isn't working that means she can't get help in emergency situation he goes to say ma'am there are other people's grandparents that doesn't have phone service I told him I wasn't calling for other people's grandparents I was calling about mines he gave the impression that he could care less my question to him was if something should happen to my grandmother and she can't call for help who should I **** I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone even if they offer an incentive **************** is everything when working with the public first you have to be a good listener and don't cut the customer off I got that from the rep and the supervisor the need more training or go work in a place that doesn't require them to deal with the public

    Dear ********************, thank you for your review. Anytime a customer is without phone service and a medical emergency arises is a cause for concern. We reviewed your grandmother's account and a trouble ticket is open with Frontier for 9/9/2022. Frontier is the local exchange carrier in your Grandmother's area and they are responsible for all repairs to the phone lines. We did let Frontier know there was a medical issue i the household and they gave us the earliest available date which was 9/9/2022. Frontier also put your grandmother on a waiting list in case they got an earlier opening. We are very sorry that the repair could not be addressed sooner.     today I received my first bill and it showed a pasr due amount and a threat t cut off my long distance service by Sep. 19. since I had never received any prior bills, I was upset. I found that my long distance was already cut off. Since today is sep.1 I was even more upse. The company had misspelled my name and left my apt. number off the invoice,but a very nice mailman asked me if this was me. Anyway, I called your cusrmer service line and I talked to a Very polite, very professionel Lady named ******* who took care of my concerns and made sure my name and address were changed. She did provide me with a small credit amount and took my debit card for the ******** and told me that my long disrance would be restored as soon as possible,but would probably be the next day. ******* is the only reason that you are receiving a somewhat positive review.

    They Clear Rate called and said they representing Frontier. They are misrepresenting themselves. They are not Frontier. I called Frontier to confirm and had to put a Freeze on transferring any of my phone numbers to any other carrier. Be aware they are scamming.

    This company preys on senior citizens!!! They called my 80 year old mother and told her they were updating her phone service and scammed her into giving them her phone **************** for DOUBLE what she was paying with her long time service provider. Within a week I got involved and even though her phine was not connectted to them yet, and she had gotten the bill but not paid them yet, they disconnected her phone and stole her phone number. Additionally it took me over 15 minutes to reach them and my call got dropped 3 times due to thier horrible phone service. The previous phone company said they could not restore my mom's account because Clear Rate now owns her phone number (which my mother has had for over 30 years). I intend to file complaints with FCC, MI Attorney General and hope everyone else that has had an elder abused by this company does the same.

    I was contacted supposedly by the parent company of my phone carrier, and told that they were taking my account, as they were separating some of the accounts in the company. The next thing I knew I was supposedly a customer of ******************** Rate! I had never heard the name before, and suddenly I was their customer!!! They messed us up. One of the features that is vital to the operation of my profession was the ability to remotely forward the company phone to my cell phone or to that of an employee from a remote location. For years we had been able to forward the phone for a 24 hour a day, emergency response business from our car or anywhere else simply by dialing into a special number, adding a security code, and entering the new number to forward to. Clear Rate told me they had never heard of such a thing, and with them I could simply go to a computer. Computers are not readily available at 70 miles per hour! I spent roughly 20 hours on the phones getting my service switched back to my original carrier, and then Clear Rate demanded termination charges of over $600! They were my carrier for 24 hours! Now I receive a threatening letter, demanding an additional $177! They are ROYAL CROOKS! They are SCAMMERS of the First Order!!!

    This place is a scam!! With very rude customer service!!They called my 75 year old dad lied to him about a cheap phone service .. which my my dad thought it was midco. When I realized what happened I called Clear Rate and explained my dad dint understand. For 2 weeks of service they sent him a **** for 72 dollars. Which I called to disconnect. Now they sent a **** for 174 utterly ridiculous!! Do not get involved with these scammers!!!!

    My mother was lied to on the phone by telling her that her existing carrier was discontinuing long distance service. They switched entire service over. When she learned the truth and wanted to stop Clear Rate, they gave her the run-around and basically refused to stop the service. For that I prefer to **** no stars because that is not service of any kind.

    Clear Rate has been an awful company to deal with. I was misled into switching which I consider a SCAM. I don't understand how they have an A+ with the BBB. This is unbelievable. Our company lost so much business in the couple of weeks we were scammed into switching over. I filed a complaint on this site and wasn't aware a response was given to my complaint. I contacted Clear rate on several occasions, and they failed to assist me every time. Anyway, I paid the total due despite not having the Servies promised. Now they have sent our Company to a ***************** claiming we owe them more money, which we do owe. Clear rate is an ************* and should have a D or F rating. I have read all these complaints/ratings on here from other people and companies with the same Scam/misleading info their representatives gave to get them switched over as well.

    I was miss informed by the person that had called me. Was misled to believe that I was speaking to a Frontier representative the phone service I have always used.When I received my **** from Clear Rate. I called and explained the misinformed information and cancelled the service with Clear Rate. Paid a fee of $39.00 for the time I was with Clear Rate.Now I have received a past due **** from Clear Rate for $114.56 saying that they are going to send this to collection. I called Clear Rate. They say this is a early termination for breaking a contract.I had no contract with them. They say I did. Have been waiting for quit sometime for a call back from them.
