    This company contacted me at work on my business phone saying they were from frontier. The man on the phone said I was paying x amount per line and he could lower the rate per line. I listened carefully then was transferred to another rep to continue. I even said something to her and the man referring to them as frontier. I received a bill for ****** and in my total confusion of who this clear rate communication was I called the phone number. The lady was extremely rude and aggressive on the phone not an ounce of help. Ive had so much issues just trying to get our business phone numbers to stay the same after these scammers took them by tricking me. Frontier has been really good about helping me get this back but I swore that clear rate communication would get a bad review. They said they were from frontier when they called andwhen I referred to them while talking to them as frontier they never said different. Then they sent a tech to hook up internet and dsl at our office that was absolutely not ordered by anyone in my office. DO NOT CHANGE ANY PHONE SERVICE OR INTERNET YOU HAVE IF SOMEONE CALLS YOU! They are scammers and fraud. Sad excuse for any business and needs to be stopped. They are taking advantage of too many people! They trick you, scam you, rude hateful people on the other end of the phone. Do not agree to anything. Tell them you need a number and call your regular phone provider to make sure you're talking to the right people. Horrible horrible place!

The phone bill you received, should have been the only phone bill you received. If Frontier continued to bill you after you switched to our service, then Frontier did not release the service properly and they should conduct a Provider Notification Investigation to find out why your business did not port away properly.     They called my home asking who handles the Frontier bill, and my husband not being home I told them he was unavailable. She proceeded to just hang up, and I told her to take our number off the list before she completely hung up. I'm sure this will be the start of all day spam calls, which I'm sick, and can hardly get to the phone on time. I will seek a lawyer if this begins for harassment.

    I think it is a terrible co.My phone has not worked since they took over from frontier.I have medical problems and can't contact my dr.from my phone.I am trying to cancel my service but they make it hard to do.

    This company has spammed my house with over 100 phone calls in the past month alone. All from different phone numbers but all registered to clear rate. I have asked them to stop calling and keep blocking numbers to no avail. Even if this company wasnt a complete scam, this is no way to treat consumers.

    THE WORST!! I only gave them a star because this site forced me too. Terrible, fraudulent business practices! This business called my elderly father asking if he would like 'cheaper phone rates'. Who wouldn't?! They switched him from his previous carrier to their service and then shut off his service when he did not pay the bill that HE NEVER RECEIVED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE HIS ADDRESS!!! When I called to inquire about his phone being turned off, the customer service representative was awful. ****, CONDESENDING and AGGRESSIVE. He did not care that my father had not received the bill or that he has a life-alert device that doesn't work without a working phone. They did reactive his phone several days later, after charging him nearly $100 to do so. I have been working for 6 weeks to get my father's telephone situation resolved and get him returned to his previous carrier. It is finally resolved after multiple phone calls and several hours with both companies. They also charge a disconnect fee to finally cancel his service with them!!! Even that process did not go the way it was explained to me by the customer service representative. Since misleading and scamming my father into switching in June, he has been charged nearly $500 for services with this company, when his normal phone rates with the previous company have been approximately $65/month. Clearly, not better rates. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company is nothing but a scam, with shady practices.

    Trouble customer service,I was told my bill would never be over ***** and they made it sound like they partnered with frontier in **. The next day I had no dial tone and was not at my farm. I contacted Frontier and they said to call Clear Rate and I did. The lady was very rude with me and I told her I now have no phone in a area I can't get cell service. I told her I wanted to go back to Frontier only and Frontier said the number was under them and they would have to cancel. Well back and forth I finally got Frontier back. So I get a notice i was ***** behind not a bill a notice. I told the rep I am not paying dime seeing I had no service for over 2 weeks. I told her to take me to court I had neighbors I used their phone several times to resolve. I have contacted ** attorney generals office to hopefully stop this from happening to others, scam, left a one star because you have to rate but it should be zero

    *******, I received a bill for ***** and said past due, I never had service so why should I have to pay anything. I spoke to a customer service lady who said she would pass it on to a supervisor to review if payment is needed but I may get a disconnect bill, I was never connected.     I don't understand what's going on I got a bill for ***** past do when I never had a dial tone to start with. I don't want to pay anything for no service. Today I called and talked to ***** who said my bill was ****** and I explained I never had service and why higher. **** spoke to her supervisor and then said they got it down to ****** and I again said why for no service but told her I am going to pay it but will contact West Virginia attorneys office to gave them help me. According to reviews on your company I am not the only one who's had issues and people need to know this is not right. I asked for **************** who responded to the BBB complain to call me at ************ so we could talk and I have not heard from her. I would like to talk to someone to help me out. Also they said I used the phone I did not have a dial tone call out I used a neighbors phone to communicate to you all.

    SCAM! A woman called and said that Clear Rate is representing Frontier and that they could cut our business line rates by 28%. She gave specific numbers that do not match our current rates, she was clearly thinking that I am not privy to this information as just a person who answered the phone. She told me that just because I answered the call that I had the absolute right to verbally authorize the change even if I was not an authorized decision maker for our company because we would still be with Frontier. I told her she was not authorized by me or my place of employment to make any changes. Let's see if she calls back and how many times she can throw out the work authorize again...
