I purchased siding for my entire home from 800-Hansons on 5/5/21. During that transaction a salesman came to our home and guided us to the right product. He stated that the main differenitator from other companies is there lifetime warranty. I then stated "this warranty is 1 page, because it has no exclusions. You could throw a baseball at it, drive a car into it, or even acts of god like hail. I will have to say that if the damage is to the entire home, you may have to contact your insurance" He laughed and my wife and I asked if he was being completely serious and he said yes and whipped out a sheet of paper, which I have attached. We decided on moving forward with them and with ALOT of delays, were able to get it installed. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, the week of 5/13. I contacted ******** via phone to submit a claim because my lawnmower had thrown a rock and damaged one peice of siding. They instructed me to use there website to create a claim. I did so and recieved a call on 5/23 back stating that there warranty only covers manufacture defects and that I would have to pay for a trip charge, supplies, and labor if I were to get this repaired. I told them exactly what the salesman had told me and they stated there was nothing they could do. All i am asking is for them to honor there agreement which made us choose there services. 1800Hansons will warranty products and material only for "normal issues" the evidence provided showed damage to siding that is abuse by virtue of either breaking. tearing by outside influences i.e.: lawn mower or storm damage.
This is not a warrantied and any request to repair is chargeable including associated fees.
Please be aware if the damage is not repaired and may exacerbate the issue or any attempt other than Hansons authorized and paid services will void all warranties'

As stated in my previous statement, the salesperson LEAD the sale by stating that the warranty covers ALL DAMAGE regardless of reason, his example was "if you kid throws a baseball at it, your covered. If it a branch falls on it, your covered. Even if you hit it with a hammer on accident your covered." This specific reason is why we chose to use Hansons, not only were they the most expensive option in our area but they took longer than promised to install. We are only asking for what was promised nothing more and nothing less. The siding is damaged and as promised by the sales representative HIRED AND TRAINED by Hansons we expect this damage to be covered at no additional cost and any future damage to be covered based on the assurances of the lifetime warranty promised.

I ordered a window and a bathroom upgrade they put the window in it was supposed to cost $3000 when finished it went to $4000 on the bathroom which I ordered March the 8th I've called them several times and they will not return my calls they will not put the bathroom in I paid a total of $7018 I'm a disabled veteran and I need the bathroom to shower I can't get in the tub that is here we have a bathroom downstairs a walkin but it is hard for me to go down stairs to use it I'm going to send you the work order and the receipts where I paid all the money down there will be 4 attachmentsBusiness Response

After years of complaining to Hansons about my new leaky roof, and them coming out numerous times and just throwing more caulk everywhere on it and leaving caulk and telling me to do it, (which every single time we had to leave work to meet them there) they finally agreed a horrible job was done and agreed to a new roof. They damaged my gutters when installing the first roof and denied it, but I had before pictures. They hung a new gutter but incorrectly so the water doesnt make it to the downspout and causes flooding at the foundation of my house. They agreed to fix this at the same time they agreed to give me a new roof. My roof is done, but the gutters are not correct and they will not return my calls/emails about fixing all the drywall damage that the leaking roof caused. I had no leaking around my skylight before I got the 1st new roof, then it started when the roof was installed. When they agreed to reroof, they told ME to buy a new skylight and install kit which was over 1k and they would install it, which they did but caused drywall damage all around the skylight. I have messaged and called about getting my gutters fixed correctly but no response and no resolution. I was told to make an insurance claim for the drywall which I will not. Why should my rates go up because of them?! I have already overpaid for the roof in the first place, I shouldnt have had to pay for a skylight, and I will NOT pay to have my gutters fixed or my drywall repaired!Business Response

[H363137**3238313831H Transcription via *******] Water began leaking into my house, and I discovered a warranty from H33363531303433**31**H left by the previous homeowners. Before a H33363531303433**31**H representative came out, I had another roofing H32303235**303035**32H inspect the issue. They informed me that H33363531303433**31**H**; poor installation had caused significant problems beyond just the water leak. The roof was installed so poorly that mold has developed on the decking, the wood is deteriorating, nails are popping out of the shingles, and there is a hole near the furnace vent due to the roof**;s weakened state. Concerned, I sought a second opinion from another roofing professional, who confirmed the serious issues caused by H33363531303433**31**H**; workmanship. When the H33363531303433**31**H representative finally arrived, he didnt inspect the roof or check the attic for damage. Instead, he simply told me I had every right to be upset. Shortly after leaving, he sent me an estimate for a new roof, which was not what I requested. Despite multiple attempts to contact him, he has been unresponsive. When I reached out to H33363531303433**31**H**; service department, the representative I spoke with became confrontational, claiming my warranty was void because it hadnt been transferred to my name. However, the warranty certificate I have contains no mention of any requirement for transfer. To make matters worse, she stated that even if I was willing to pay H33363531303433**31**H to inspect the roof, she would refuse to arrange it. At this point, I believe this situation has escalated into fraud and negligence. H33363531303433**31**H is refusing to stand behind their work and honor the warranty, leaving me to deal with the consequences of their poor installation.Business Response

I was told by ***** a manager at Hansons that they would remove the electrical meter, the conduit, and shut off box and reinstall them properly. He stated he would contact a licensed electritian and have it done properly. I have a text from the electrician stating that ***** was told the cost and said he would get another electritian. Then ***** told me and his vise president that the electrician told him that all Hansons had to do was clamp it in place so that it would not shift any more. Based on my conversation with the electritian I do not believe that the electrician told ***** to "clamp it in place." This would tarnish the electritian's reputation. However, the vise president believes ***** and the vise president has not reached out to the electritian himself. Hansons went from telling me that they would fix it to dismissing it as if there were no issues. The brick siding was removed from my home and the subcontractors and that did the siding left the box unsupported for 3 months. The pole shifted and is no longer straight. March 30 Sunday evening we noticed that our kitchen roof was leaking. When I got on the roof the next day I took 3 pictures of the pole while up there. It appears that the sealant around the pole now has areas that water could pass through. Previously, I had a before picture of the box while attached to the brick siding where it was straight. I also took pictures of the boxes right after the new siding was installed behind the box. I have a text message that I sent to ***** on October 28, 2024 that shows the box attached to the brick siding before the subcontractors even started working. On this photo I sent him I drew on the photo 2 spots where the box would be moved to. This shows that ***** knew before the work began that the box had to be moved. Hansons subcontractors realized that they could remove the brick siding from behind the boxes and continue to work without having to wait for Hansons to hire the electrician in October.Business Response

The independent report that was provided by the homeowner acknowledged that issues with the roof stack boots required repair for some time and may have lent itself to water intrusion. This was not installed or warrantied by Hansons.

All of our windows were installed by ************** years ago. We were told there was a lifetime warranty for the windows. Our windows have had condensation for years now. We called ******** about the problem; however, they will NOT replace the windows. Seems a lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. I paid for install of new facial boards and gutters. Somewhere along the lines the facial boards were not included in the price. Although zi asked the gentleman who gave the estimate along with ******. The lady in the office who took payment and was also told by her the facial boards were included. The install was scheduled. The installers showed up. They couldn't install because the boards were not included. I called Hansons to rectify the problem. I was then told I would be paying extra. Which was already supposed to be included. I then ended up talking to *****. The **. We agreed on a resolution concerning the boards. The new install date was scheduled for today Jan 10, 2025. Installers showed up. Again, they can't install because the boards were not part of the install. I called Hansons while the installers were here. Of course, there was nobody available to talk to. Now, I apparently am waiting for a call back from someone. I'm frustrated. I paid $2000 to have new gutters i stalled. Its been 2 months and still nothing. When I requested my money back to go elsewhere. I was told no. Either I get what I paid for or I want my money back to go somewhere else. This is ridiculous.Business Response

Earlier this summer i had a roof replaced through hansons for 20,000$ the week of construction, the first day they had torn the old roof off, it started raining so the project wasnt completed until the following week, meanwhile it rained in my house for most that week. When they finally did finish the work a lot of the shingles appeared to be installed wrong (curling, uneven rows, etc.) So i got ahold of them to fix/replace what was wrong. Theyve scheduled and canceled at least 5 appointments for various reasons on why they cant come inspect the work. Sunday 12/28/2024 i noticedmy roof was leaking still so i called again for an appointment scheduled 1/6/2025 which they have once again canceled and rescheduled.Business Response
