Had new shingles and vinyl siding installed September 2023. After a heavy rain in April, I noticed the roof was leaking I got ahold of Hansons to come out and fix it and they sent a guy to fix it, it didn't help the leak they sent another crew out and whatever they did it didn't help it actually made the leak worse. I have been contacting someone from Hansons since April 2024 to fix the roof and spots on my siding and when they do respond it's just a brush off saying they don't have a crew to come over. They got my money and now the repairs aren't important anymore. P.S. Hi. I bought siding, trim and gutters for my house from Hansons in the year 2020. Due to covid did not get materials in to when they started house in winter of Dec.2021 through Feb.2022 in a snowstorm. I have a loan out for I think $10,000. I probably still owe half if not a little more. I thought I would have been getting presentable materials all around the house. The siding is dark ***** like trim. The problem is that in front of my house the siding at windows and above windows is dis colored. This happens the first time in 2023 which Hansons came out and replace. Now it has happened again the same siding and I have called and talk to customer service and a manager, and the manager says that Hansons does not replace under warranty dis colored material due to sun. I have showed pictures of trim above windows in front of house and show where trimming at windows where sun hits in the same areas as damaged siding is that the trim in these 2 areas is not dis colored. ****** manager said they would come out and replace if I pay for the repairs. I stated why would I do that if the same outcome per our conversation. This was just last week Oct.18,2024 trying to resolve issues with Hansons on siding.Business Response

Tell us why here... 1800Hansons is sorry for an issue that is not warrantied per warranty at Hansons, we do not cover the fading of siding under our warranty, and the last repair was completed as a onetime courtesy. If you are interested in receiving a quote for repair, we can help prepare a quote for replacement of this siding, but per our policy, fading is not covered.
The area in question has a direct solar influence. No other materials are affected.
Suggestion. Contact the manufacturer for any relief if available

The Area in question has sun light hit same material around damage material and is not dis colored and has kept it color. All in front of house. Also, on their ****** web site warranty it does say 1-800-Hansons siding is protected against discoloration, mold, mildew, and ultraviolet light.

we have reviewed the signed contract specifications, the communication that was sent and acknowledged to confirm the order and the facts also bare out that at the final measure the door wall was discussed and no conflicts from Mr. ****** occurred with the direction.
The Branch Manager has offered a substantial discount as a courtesy to change the unit AND WAS REFUSED AND OUR MANAGER WAS DISCONNECTED FROM THE CALL!

I ordered windows from ****** back in April of 2023. The first set of windows we received had many flaws and they had the manufacturer came and looked at the windows to see if they could be ***aired. The said no and they would need to order a second set. Those were ordered and many flaw to the point they had to order a third set. That set was installed in the spring of 2024. I had reached out to the *** again because on the Third set of windows some of the windows close on there own and other don't close and I have to force them to close. He told me he didnt know what i wanted him to do and i should just call for service on them. So I called the customer service line had to wait agin for someone to come and look at the. They said they had to order parts. This was back in August and still no word. During all this time I am still pating full price and not happy with the company or windows. After having new kitchen windows installed in March of 2023, I noticed a crack growing out out the corner of one of the windows less than a year later. I reached out to Hansons for service to replace the window in April of 2024. After the company asked me to provide serial numbers from inside of the ******************** rather than sending a representative to review the issue, the wrong window was ordered and left on my front porch. The window was reordered again and installation was scheduled for July. On the installation date, I was advised the wrong window was ordered. Five months after my original request was made and I have received no follow up and the window has not been replaced.Business Response

We started the process of getting new siding and windows on our house in February of this year. It was suppose to be completed by June. We decided to go with 1-800-Hansons. Big mistake. We have taken countless days off work to stay home for installers to not even show up. Today is another day of that. My husband is home from work today because 1-800-Hansons installers were coming back yet again to fix mistakes that were made. They were supposed to be at our house between 8am and noon. Still haven't shown up and apparently nobody from 1-800-Hansons can get ahold of them. This happens every time something is to be done at our house. The outside corners of the house were supposed to be white and not the same color as the house, but we said it was fine the way they did it just so we wouldn't have to deal with the mess of getting it redone the right way. Siding is literally falling off our house in places because it wasn't installed correctly. That is what they are supposed to be coming today to fix. We have waited months. We have also had to have a window fixed as the lock broke the very first time we opened the window. We had to buy all new outside lights on the house because they were wired wrong and could have burnt our house down. Then they just screwed them to the house with huge 6 inch screws because the crew didn't know what they were doing. Numerous things have gone wrong and I will never do business with 1-800-Hansons again. I am very disappointed. The salesman sat in our house praising this company only to pad his pockets I think. I feel like we should get some sort of a discount or something since nothing has gone right and we have had more out-of-pocket expenses due to 1-800-Hansons mistakes. I just expected things to be done correctly and professionally after paying that much money for services and products. No matter what we do, we can never get anywhere with anyone on the phone. This whole process has just caused nothing but headaches unfortunately.Business Response

I dont know what 1-800 Hansons means by they are glad we have a satisfactory conclusion. I still have not been able to talk to anyone above the scheduling department. They cancelled and rescheduled again since the last response. They showed up at a different time then we were told so we werent home once again to tell them what needed to be done. I dont know what warranty work they are referring to, because this is still all from the original installation that was done incorrectly. We had to sign that the work was completed before it was even done. Nobody has reached out to me from 1-800 Hansons except the scheduling department and when I ask to talk to someone higher than them, they tell me I cant.

There is still trim done incorrectly on the back of our house that was suppose to be fixed on 9/30/24 when 1-800 Hansons were at our house. Like I said, they unfortunately came at a time that was not scheduled so we were not there to show them. I did however talk to someone in scheduling about that issue and she said she would order the trim and they would fix that also when they were there. Ive had it with all the back and forth. I just wish it would have been done right in the first place instead of causing all the headaches. Nobody has yet to address the issues of the outside lights all being wired wrong and us having to replace them because they were just screwed back up on the house. Or the fact that we had to take all those days off work to be home when they came just to have them no show. And lets not forget about the corners of the house being the same color as the rest of the house instead white like the purchase agreement says. We are just letting that go because I cant imagine the nightmare it would be to have 1-800 Hansons have to come out to fix that. We were also charged almost $5000 in a wood agreement and we didnt even use the wood. They went right over top of our old rotted siding instead of tearing off the old stuff like Ajay, the salesman, told us they would do. They just want this over with and to be compensated for everything that has went wrong.

I had 1800hansons come out was supposed to install a 12 foot sliding door for me. They originally forgot parts and left my wall torn apart for several weeks! Two weeks before I was even contacted by ******. Finally they came to install my door and I dont believe and permits were used and it is 100% not up to code! My 12 foot header is supported by a single 2x4 on each side. The studs above the header are not even touching the header. Theres no casing used. The header has nothing but air in between the 2x12s. The foam has cracks of day light all over. Im worried about the integrity of my house now. They have left my door like this for over two weeks! This project was supposed to be done over two months ago! And it keeps getting pushed back and pushed back for mistakes made on your end. Then I have to wait once again in line like I’m a new customer instead of just taking care of it. I gave you a chance to fix the problem once again on 9/24/24, but once again my project was cancelled and moved back another 3 weeks! Because it may rain. It rained from 10am to maybe 1030am at the latest! The dry wall could be done and literally had hours to do the outside trim with no rain.
I was told the dry wall needs to be cut outside which isn’t true. Because everyone knows sanding dry wall is 100x more messy than cutting it.once again I am super disappointed, but unfortunately not surprised. Going with Hanson has been nothing but trouble from day one.

(All I have heard is excuses since day 1) The contractors were aware of the materials needed and yet Hanson sent new contractors that had no idea what they needed. How about the cancellation because of rain and rescheduling a month away when it didn’t even rain?
How about the fact you came to installl my door on Aug 2 and forgot parts because my door wasn’t inspected prior to scheduling?how about the fact I as a customer had to call you back and teach you how to properly frame a door? Because you almost destroyed my house.
Or how about the fact I had to call you back to tell you my door wasn’t installed straight or level after I had already called you back to fix the framing.
how about the fact we’re almost to 3 months from the original install date. That means three months of not being able to use my family room?
This has been the worse customer service I have ever experienced.

The initial cancel was not made with a written and signed cancel form which was provided at the time of sale. The customer call *** cancel was forwarded but required a due process to refund.
