We have an older home in *********** and were having a 3 window bay window replaced. We were asked to sign a waiver stating the plaster walls may be damaged and the company was not liable for that-reasonable I suppose. The issue came that when they finished the windows and trim, they put up painters tape that went behind the trim (very difficult to remove) without showing us the plaster damage behind the tape. After we had painted the trim and removed the tape, we could see there were numerous areas of the wall that needed patching. The issue is that because the trim is so close from one window to the next, we cant do that repair work without removing the trim entirely. It would have been helpful for the installers to show us the damage so we could have fixed the wall pre-trim installation.When we reached out to the company they just said you signed a waiver and we cannot help you with this. Just feels like poor communication and workmanship resulting in unnecessary cost to us.The window itself seems great and good quality.Andersen Corporation

We ordered eight series 100 sliding doors in dark bronze. The sides and top frames are dark bronze, but the bottoms are sandstone. They look awful. Nowhere in their literature did it say that is how they make them. They don't care and don't want to do anything about it.Andersen Corporation

We have Andersen windows that have been in our home since it was built over 20 years ago. We have been extremely satisfied with the windows, and customer service has been wonderful. No drafts, no leaks, no problems that could not be fixed quite simply. I think many window troubles are from poor installation, because the windows are well made, and built to last.Andersen Corporation

0 stars, if I could. I have a new construction home that placed Andersen windows into the home when it was built in late 2015. Along the way, we have had nothing but problems with the Andersen windows installed in our home. Broken seals, condensation, and large drafts flying into our rooms in the winter. Upon notification to Andersen, they simply advised that the company sold off that product line and would not be willing to help in any way with the warranty on the windows. One of the appeals of the home / builder was the Andersen window name. Their lack of customer appreciation, product support and follow through has been the worst experience I've had with my home. I would not recommend any company that does not stand by their product nor cares about the well being of their clients. If I did business this way, I wouldn't be in business. Do yourself a favor: stay away from doing business with Andersen.Andersen Corporation

Zero stars. **** poor customer service. We spent an absorbent amount of money with Andersen and installed 47 brand-******* series windows in 2022. We've had a total of 7 windows that have been leaking water for the past 18 months. 3 sashes have been replaced due to warping, 3 windows had the stops replaced due to water leaking into our house. The distributor has admitted 400 series windows with black trim have had problems, specifically ones manufactured in 2020 and 2021. I also spoke to *************************** and they've had an increase in service calls as well. You have the distributor that's admitted quality issues, *************************** (installers), and our builder all admit they've seen an uptick in quality issues. Enter the incompetent customer service rep who doesn't know a thing about de-escalating a situation with a frustrated customer. Completely incompetent. We spent well over 100k and this is the result. I work for a company that ordred a window as a replacement for a glass door we damaged at a customers home. We ordred this part on September 20th 2023. The website stated **** business days for shipping. on 10/2 I called to follow up as we had not recived a shipping confirmation and it was 9 days from the order date. At that point I was told the part would take up to 30 days from the order date to ship. Come 11/6 I again followed up as we had no shipping confirmation from the order placed 9/20. This is when I was told the "custom" order was on back order and that they could not give me a shipping time frame. Everytime I ask to speak with someone higher up to give me more information, I am put on hold and then hung up on. Im not sure if this is some kind of scam but as a company that deals with customers directly and prides themselves on customer satisfaction, what do I tell my customer that has been waiting since mid september for this replacement. Sorry itll come when it comes? This is absolutely horrible business practice and unacceptable.Andersen Corporation

Staff were great and professional, HOWEVER, they fail to tell you their downsides. I paid $26k for my windows, and when I power washed the house, there was a flood in my house. Called and asked for them to check the seals on the windows, and was told theyre not designed for pressure washing. I know people that paid 1/4 of the price I paid, and they dont get water through their windows. Extremely dissatisfied!Andersen Corporation

I have been complaining about mold and scaling on all my Andersen windows on my colonial style house. I have many and not one rep has come to look at one window. I have sent pictures and filed complaints, but they just dont do anything to correct a long standing problem with their windows. Recently ordered 6 wooden replacement sashes, 2 large, 2 medium and 2 small. My contractor picked up the sashes when they arrived and stained them to match our trim. Upon installation we realized that Andersen had sent 3 large, 1 medium, and 2 small - Andersen shipped one incorrect sash by mistake. I contacted the company yesterday and was told that since I had ordered the sashes online directly through them there is nothing they will do to help me. The customer service rep went on to say that if I had ordered them through a professional representative then they would have replaced the sash. So I am stuck with a sash that cost approximately $400 because of an error Andersen made and my contractor and I did not catch soon enough. Seriously can't believe that I am being penalized because I ordered through them directly. There should be a warning on their site - Order at your own risk. I'm moving to a new house and definitely won't be using Andersen Windows ever again.Andersen Corporation

So an Andersen ***************** representative contacted me shortly after I posted this review. He sent an email, followed by a phone call to confirm the issue. He said that Andersen would replace the sash, but was fairly certain it was our mistake and wanted me to send the invoice so he could review it. I sent the invoice in an email shortly after and have heard nothing since. I've tried reaching out again and crickets.... So yeah, a representative did contact me and led me to believe he would resolve the issue, but nothing has come of it. Thanks for the run-around Andersen - zero stars.
