      I purchased a stool online (2/22/25) and when it made it to me, I built it and threw away the box. a week or so later the new catalog came out with that stool for $59.95, that didn't make me happy either after paying *****. then when the area it was purchased for was finished being built I found that the stool was too tall. i was told without the box it is considered "used" though it has never been used. ohh and it is too late for price match! And even though your website says I can return for any reason the person, ******, on chat only said, sorry for your inconvenience. And that was it. No option to return or anything, no refund of the $20 that I over paid.nothing. So, I message Northern Tool online through ******** and whoever wrote back said they just needed my order # to look into it. They wrote again in 4/3 that they would refund the $20 difference, if I just wanted to keep the stool. Well $20 is better than nothing and even though their policy says return for any reason.apparently that isnt true. But whoever was writing to me has dropped off the face of the earth because even though I said that would be nice and asked what they needed from me, and wrote a couple times after that wondering why they arent responding-it is 4/12 and I still have heard nothing!!

      Wed like to clarify that our Low-Price Guarantee is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Although your request fell outside of that timeframe, I do see that our team has previously issued a refund on 4/13/25 in the amount of $21.24. Refunds typically take 13 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
      We also regret the delay in your resolution and understand how that added to your frustration. Were actively reviewing the matter internally to ensure a more consistent and timely response experience in the future.
      While our return policy does allow returns for any reason, certain conditionssuch as the absence of original packagingcan affect how the return is processed or our ability to resell the item. That said, we always strive to be flexible and fair, and were sorry this wasnt clearly communicated.

      We bought POWERHORSE GENERATOR 1yr ACC DAMAGE REPAIR PLAN Unfortunately, the product has not performed well because it doesn't work properly after a month and a half after having bought it, the generator did not want to start despite having oil and gasoline.the manager of the store refused to make us validate the warranty because he says that it was our mistake, and we are in total and absolute disagreement since the generator has only been used very few times after buying so we asked him to give us a valid solution since we paid the warranty to avoid this type of problem, but his answer was that we had to buy him a new one.We asked him to talk to someone else and he said no. So we had to call the customer service phone and they gave us a number of the manager and we did not have an answer either, we returned the call to customer service and they give us an email which didnt answer either. The company doesn't care about helping you, they only sell you the warranty, ours cost $100 and they blame you saying it was your fault, but they don't help you at all, not even the customer service staff or the supervisors they have since they don't answer calls, emails or messages.

      Bought a pressure washer with the extended warranty. Paid over $5,000. Issues from day one. They never allowed me to return or exchange. It literally caught on fire and blew in 2 separate incidents and they want me to pay for the repairs. And lied about what's covered in the bogus warranty they sold me. I have all my phone calls recorded with their horrendous customer service employees. They have had my machine for months to supposedly fix and it's less than a year old. I still do not have it back and they are demanding another $1,200 before they fix it. I'll be filing court papers on Monday 6-17-24 if they don't have a new machine for ne by 8:01am

      Ordered a Milwaukee speaker for my son's birthday, it advertised that it was eligible for a free battery. Once the package arrived it did not have the battery with it. I called customer service and was told that that item did not qualify for the free battery. There was no attempt to make this right, it was just a sorry you can return it if you want. It was completely false advertising and should have been held to what was stated on the website.

      ********, went to local store kept getting asked if I needed help every 5-10 minutes and after my 3rd no their security guard came up a said management asked for me to leave. I just laughed put whatever I wanted to purchase back on the shelf and left. Looked on Better Business Bureau and it's nothing but 1 star reviews. I'll definitely spend my money somewhere else from now on.

      My first and LAST order with this company. Ordered a 50-ton hydraulic press on 12/21 and was told it would be delivered 12/29 or there about because of the holidays. After several calls with them assuring me it was on its way, product was delivered on 1/24. It wasn't a 50-ton press, but two 10-ton jacks. Called on 1/26 and was finally able to talk to a supervisor. He seemed very helpful as I told him my story. I no longer wanted the product and wanted a refund and for them to pick up the wrong product. Was told I would receive my money within 48 hrs. It is now February 7th. I do not have my money and I received an email telling me that a replacement order had been submitted. Called them back AGAIN. They are holding my refund until they receive the wrong product back, however, that is on hold with their transportation and supplier. NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME. I am now waiting for a call back from another person so I can get my refund so I can pay the people that will actually deliver what I ordered.Not once have a received a follow up call from them. I do not trust one word their reps say.

      Took North Star pressure washer to *******, **. location to be repaired on 10/09/2023, learned they had lost their repair technician back in November. Decided to retrieve pressure washer to be repaired by someone else on 12/21/2023 because Hampton location taking too long to repair. Went to store only to find pressure washer had parts disassembled and decided after talking to store personnel, that I would return to the store on 12/26/2023 to pick up pressure washer, after it has been reassembled to the condition that I bought it to them, fully assembled. Returned to the store today, 12/26/2023 to pick up pressure washer only to discover parts are missing to include a very important piece called the Dump Loader, which the store manager informed me he could not find. My dilemma now is I cannot pickup my pressure washer because a vital piece is missing, and the store manager seems to not care about replacing it or finding it. I've contacted corporate about this situation no response yet, I'm now contacting the Better Business Bureau to proceed with legal litigation next week.

      We are sorry to hear that this has occurred. It appears that the part that was lost was an obsolete part that did not have a replacement, so we had to do some research to find a suitable replacement that was available. They have now located the replacement and the part will be available next week. They have contacted the Norfolk store to schedule a repair service due to the loss of service repair staff.

      The supervisors are horrible, the Shipping esti.ates are a joke at best. You guys wouldn't know your a****** from your elbow, I'd invest in a sinking ship before I'd order from your s*** show again. How do you have a deal with a delivery date shown and then have that fall apart? Ordered nov 21st, shown as delivery nov 30th or dec 1st then o get an email saying ot was going to be 4 to 6 weeks smh. I'd shoot myself before even thinking about using your company again! Better yet, I'd buy tools from a crack head before I'd shop here again

      I cannot get this company to stop sending catalogs and promotional leaflets to our residential address. I have called 3 times in the past year starting Feb 2023 and have been online and used their chat site as well and we are still receiving a lot of unsolicited mail from them. Each time I am in contact with them they say they have deleted us from the mailing list. We will never buy anything from them again if this is how they treat their customers.
