    Central portfolio is one of the worst Cantonese in America. They collect debts for a company called Westlake financial Westlake financial is the biggest corrupt company I’ve ever dealt with. I miss one payment of $400 on a $10,000 car. They came immediately and took the car And now Central portfolio won’t even accept my money of payment because it’s not enough money for them. I would like the better business bureau to know the type of people they are and how they deal with senior citizens. Nobody contacted me from the dealership from Westlake financial or from Central portfolio They just came and took my car.

    They called me looking for the person that I take care of and before I could explain who I was they hung up on me 2 times because I called back asking what this was regarding considering all the scams being perpetrated on the phone and then I was told they gave me their name and that was given with attitude so being short tempered on the third call and not given a straight answer as to whether or not this was a scam call I told the rude person to F off and then had to look them up online when they could have just stated they were a debt collector company and I could have helped them with this issue

    I keep getting text messages but they want me to verify personal info and I’m not giving my info. They can’t tell me where the bill is from. I’m not sending any money and they hung up in my face. Very suspicious business and can barely speak English. Asked for manager and they would not transfer me to manager.

    Committing fraud putting a debt on your credit report with not even verifying the debt first so I hope that this gets out about this company cfpb and the ftc plus my attorney general has been notified

    I keep getting text messages from them with the wrong name on it. I attempted to go to the website the text provided, but it went to a "this site for sale" page. Also, the number provided on the text is different from the one on the real website that I had to google. The real site kept wanting more and more information before stating validation failed and that I did NOT have an account with them...

    This collection agency called my landlord over an outstanding medical bill from Yale University on 8/16/22 for $29.25.
    I have no idea how they have my landlords phone number but more importantly I asked them to send me something in writing telling me who they are, to validate the debt and are working for Yale Medical’s behalf.
    The customer service representative was rude and condescending and I respond in kind.
    I Find it hard to believe that a collection agency harass me and my landlord over $29 bill from three years ago that they refused to validate.

    “ Shanita” I believe it was something like that was absolutely horrible. I called because I received a text with someone else’s name saying they were trying to collect a debt. She had attitude and literally went off. I urge you to listen to the call and call me back. I have concerns has to why someone else’s name is on my phone number. SCAMMERS

    Refuse to take me off the list and or talk. I’ve told them to stop calling and texting me. As much as J state I don’t want to receive calls from them they don’t stop. By the way as well they will call you first with hang ups on a Saturday. Comes up as credit one bank.

    Terrible. Got text message from them, no letter. The text looked like it could be fraud. When I called them they insisted in getting my date of birth. How do I know where I called wasn’t a scam operation in India!? They were not helpful at all. Supervisor hung up on me.

    Employee was incredibly rude. Continually implied I need to better education myself on the debt collection process when I asked about a debt verification letter. Claimed they sent me a letter, but never received it. He said that wasn't his problem.
