    MONEY STEALING COMPANY. HORRIBLE! We had the worst experience with Wolf River Electric and continue to experience horrible service from them (both with the panels and customer service). We would strongly NOT recommend them, they didn't even calculate the amount of panels we would need correctly so we are still paying a high utility bill and seeing no benefit from the THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS we invested. If we try to write all the issues down that we experienced, this review would be pages long!!! Here are some of the highlights: They don't communicate, after you pay them it all goes to hell.... we had to call or email numerous times to try and get updates and answers to project status, plans, failed inspections, and more for the whole duration that it took to complete. We had a ton of no shows when they said they would be there to work, had a few failed inspections, and one of their workers even called the sherif on us. I wouldn't get into those details, but I can say the sherif visited and they had no issues. They took over a year to complete install with no good reason for the delay, but it did cause a delay in getting our fed. rebate. They didn't communicate regarding plans and what was happening on site, they put holes in our siding that weren’t even used in the end. We had a nice sloped hill away from the house with black plastic and decorative rocks, now there are weeds coming through the rocks (looks horrible), we tried to get them to fix that, but no luck. We got a call this year for a free spring panel check (install completed last year), would they call us back to schedule it? No. Still hasn't happened and I keep asking/leaving messages. We are so mad with how everything was handled and how things are still being handled... ugh!! The icing on the cake is when they asked me to take this same review down a few months ago, which we did as they said they would work with us to fix it. Have they called us or made any attempts to do so? NO!

    Wolf River Electric did a great job installing a solar system for my residence which included an EV charging station for my garage. Thought it would be a whole year process, but they had the system installed within a couple weeks. Thought the price was competitive and comes with a very good warranty.

    Wolf River did an amazing job with our array. They are the only ones that figured out how to cover out electric bill. Everyone was through, and professional including the sales person, the install coordinator, and everyone crawling around on my roof! I would recommend them to anyone that is interested in solar.

    We had a great experience with Wolf River. Promptly returned messages and answered questions. When the day came for installation, they were courteous, professional, and did a very neat installation, both on the outside of the house as well as with the connections inside the house. We are only the fourth solar installation in our relatively small community in Iowa, with municipal electric service, so it was a learning experience for us as well as them, but the city inspector who was out to the house several times was very interested in the installation. He's currently leasing, but hopefully I can give him a referral in the future.

    Every representative from Wolf River Electric was knowledgable and helpful and expert at each step of the installation process. I would not have been able to manage a project like this on my own. From meeting with me to explain the benefits and ease of solar energy to personal assistance with contracts and financing, to permits and installation, to every professional along the way, we were impressed and satisfied to see our panels produce energy and move us into self-sustaining energy. Our family recommends Wolf River Electric to be everyone!

    Thanks to Wolf River Electric, I am a proud new solar array owner. They made the setup very easy and were able to answer all of my questions. They also handled the back-and-forth with the city inspector and the utility company, making it pain-free to get everything installed and commissioned. If you are looking for solar, I would recommend them!

    they did great they were here to install all the panels which was 15 panels in4.5 hrs and finished up rest when the electrie company okayed the project

    Very happy with my solar panel system install. My solar journey began with several meetings with a Wolf River Electric solar-specialist. All of the meetings were on Google Meet so I did not have to travel to the office for in-person meetings. The specialist reviewed my energy bills from previous months, specifically my average electricity consumption and recommended a design using 12 solar panels mounted on my house roof. And upon further thought, I asked that we install the panels on my garage roof instead, which the specialist had suggested as an option at our first meeting based on the orientation and slope of the garage roof. The specialist was able to use my street address to determine the optimal choice location for my solar panels. As the install process began, some rescheduling was required due to winter weather and for coordination with local utilities and municipal inspectors. The installation crew was very respectful of my home and property and did a thorough clean up when they had finished the work. The installation process involved electrical panels, brackets, switches, wiring, and even a trenching-tool to install a power cable between my garage and the main power box on my house. All of the work was reviewed and inspected by licensed Wolf River electricians and by the City inspector and their electricians. Final inspection was also given by my local utility provider, as my system qualified for Net-Metering in my state. I am very happy with the quality of work and with the professionalism and helpfulness of the Wolf River Electric team. Thank you Wolf River Electric.

    Wolf River did really good work for us! Our biggest issue was delays with xcel activating our panels. Our sales team and install team were wonderful fast and efficient. The only difficulty came when we had to involve xcel energy into the processes! Yikes (it was also the holiday season) All round 4.5 stars so i gave a 5 if somehow they got things with xcel energy to run smoother but its hard for me to blame them for that! Christian our sales rep was fantastic! Helped us a ton even when we had moved onto a different handler he always showed up to help us out!
