    Daughter was flying for the first time by herself, Im a nervous wreck, she was flying into *** (*******) huge airport with a tram that she had to take to get to baggage claim where my family was waiting. There was an amazing pilot that over heard me chatting with her about it and turn to me and said Im a pilot, would you like me to make sure she gets to your family? Inside Im crying cause Im so happy and my mouth says yes, please God yes! That pilot was my saving ***** and the Lord telling me there is still really good people in this world and he will make sure my girl was safe the entire flight. Thank you ****. Youre an amazing man with a heart of gold. God Bless you.

    I booked a flight and car rental through Sun Country. The amount quoted by Sun Country was $116.82 less than the total amount for both the flights and the car rental. There is a statement when booking online that says, "...Car Rental Companies may collect ************ directly from customers at rental car pickup and are not included in prices quoted or collected by Sun Country." I think it's a little bit like a bait & switch to not have to disclose the total amount that you will be charged and to not have anything on the confirmation email that indicates that you will have to pay extra to the car rental company.

    We were at the check in 60 minutes before the take off , there were 4 other passengers in front of ** and 3 agents to take the customers! However 2 of them did not take any customer and it took 20 minutes for one agent to check in 4 four passengers.When we reached the agent told e cant board the flight as she cannot send our luggage, I pointed out I was there in line at 8am for a 9 am flight but she was not helpful. She said she can book us to next flight which was after 3 days , we requested for a different destination which is closer to us for a 2 hour drive and we are asked to pay the difference of $1500. I have not seen customer service this bad , still cant believe I missed my flight even after being in line 1 hour before while I write this comment, I am in the airport where I have booked a ticket with a different airline with a layover of 8 hours

    We had flights to ******* when the pandemic started. Sun country gave us a voucher to use within a year. Within that year, they stopped flying out of cities that were within 3 hours from where I lived. Now, to spend our voucher we have to drive atleast 6-8 hours to get to a sun country airport. I've been booking and canceling for three years now hoping they open more destinations to their site. I have over $1100 in vouchers and I can't use them.

    Worst Airlines, we were there 40 minutes before take off and they wouldn't let us check in they said we were to late and our only option to ******** was standby 4 days later. Their was two other passengers wanting to check in aswel.

    **************** was not good. The airline experience was unorganized, the staff was extremely rude, there were many emails with unclear instruction and flight details. They charged me twice for the same bag! Spend an extra couple hundred dollars and fly a different airline!

    My mother bought tickets and we needed to cancel our trip because my doctor told me due to complications with my pregnancy I couldnt travel. We contacted Sun County and they said that they will refund us the amount we paid but we needed to pay a 353 cancellation fee and we did. We received the email saying how much we will be refunded and the cancellation fee amount. The agent by the name of **** called me directly and asked if I received the email and I said yes. He said the month will be refunded in7-10 days. We contacted Sun County and asked about the refund and they said we were scammed and they also said that we didnt cancel our flight on time. We waited on hold for hours to speak to different people and never got the issue resolved. The same phone number in the email is the same number I called to speak to someone else on. The person we spoke to said that they needed proof of my medical emergency and I said okay. The next person we spoke to made us wait on hold and never put the manager in the phone. We want our refund and an apology because not only did we get scammed Sun country staff were very rude and didnt care that we were out of over ****. We want this resolved.

    Wish I had checked here before booking! 6 hours before my flight was scheduled to depart at 6pm, Sun Country sent a text message informing me that my flight had changed until the following day. How does Sun Country expect customers to manage this? Other airlines that I have flown with have always at least offered a hotel/meal voucher as well as a generous flight voucher to compensate at least a little for the added expenses and time wasted. I calculated the loss of a days work, additional day of hotel/meal/rental car/pet boarding/airport car parking expenses to be $751. After waiting for 3 hours to talk to a customer service rep, a $100 flight voucher to be used within a year was offered. How does $100 back to Sun Country and the additional revenue they gain from me purchasing a future flight with them help with the $751 dollars of additional expenses that I now have? Never plan to fly on Sun Country again. Strongly discourage others from trying to save money with this airline. Spend a more upfront and fly Delta or a reliable customer-focused airline instead.

    Terrible customer service. We experienced hours of delays, rude staff, and they lost our car seat and left us stranded at the airport, telling us to just go buy one at 10pm (like we could just plop our kid in the back of a car to drive around and try to find an open store). First and last time we will ever fly them. Trust me - just pay extra to avoid this airline. Theyre not worth the headache.
