    Worst flight experience ever! After already arriving late to **, we were left on the plane for over 1 hour. Then a lady on the plane began yelling at other passengers and wouldn't stop-with no help from any Sun Country staff member. Once arriving in ** to get our bags at 1 AM, we saw over 100 other passengers, all only from Sun Country had already been waiting for 3 + hours, also with no help. There was no communication during this time or any help/support from Sun Country. On top of that, the 1 Sun Country worker would yell at anyone who asked for information or help. Finally, at 4 am, our bags came, keep in mind multiple passengers were still waiting for their bags at this time and had been for 3+ hours- at 4:00 IN THE MORNING. All Sun Country offered us, was a $50 voucher. We do not plan on ever flying with them again-worst customer service ever.

    Totally damaged my expensive brand name bag and offer my $20 cash or $50 voucher.I did not agree ..made calls, sanded emails..after 2mo all they did send my $50 vaucher,because i din not agree with $20 cash. Terrible customer service!

    Very disappointing when you receive a cancellation 2 days prior for your return flight with no rescheduling. I understand things happen but to leave a person stranded without any rescheduling of any kind is ridiculous. Thank goodness for Delta. I went back to my tried and true airline because they have never left me stranded or disappointed. They always fix your issue or concern and dont just throw it back in your lap to handle. I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap flights = poor customer care.

    Horrible customer service. Family of 4 booked a trip to ********** Beach, ** from *********** **. We saw early on in our vacation the weather was not going to be favorable for our return trip so I called to change our flight to the following day. Was told everything was taken care of for a flight out the day after our original flight. Id be seeing an email later in the day. I never received an email so called back and was told that there was a mistake and we were never booked on the flight and there werent any more seats on that flight but they could get ** out Sunday night. When we asked about reimbursement for 3 extra days because of their mistake they thought giving us $100 flight voucher would make up for the over $2,000 in additional costs we now have to bear because of their mistake. This is the second time in one year that they have made mistakes with my flights. I was giving them a second chance but no more. Ive had better treatment on spirit airlines than Sun country. So disappointing!!

    We had a trip to ****** booked for February 22 (7 am), on the evening of the 21st we received an email saying our flight was cancelled because of "impending weather event" HOWEVER, 2 flights that were scheduled to depart at 8am and 9am WERE NOT cancelled (weather event was a NON-EVENT at that time of the day....they said call to rebook, the wait times were HOURS long so there was NO way to get on another flight...AND we had insurance that we paid nearly $500 for that we can NOT get back!!!

    Worst air line ever. Delay flight on last two flights. Also a complete cancelation. With our last delayed flight still sitting in terminal waiting with no one letting us know whats going on and we should be taking off at this time. I would never recommend this air line. I would give them a zero for a review but they don't allow that.

    In October of 2019 I booked 6 tickets to ****** for my family. The tickets were to be used for a March 2020 family trip. That was the very beginning of the ***** outbreak. We made the very difficult decision to cancel to keep our family safe. I did receive a credit for these tickets. No where on the credit I received via email does it describe the limited time I have to use these credits. When I began to research options for using the credits i was told by customer service that these credits had expired. At this point we were even deeper in to the ***** epidemic. **************** indicated I had received a call where this was all explained. I did not receive such a call. I wrote to Sun Country asking for a transcript of this call. I received a call back from Sun Country legal (I have the individuals name but will not include here). This person said that no call could be located and might there be another number they would have called. I said no, but gave them my husband's phone number. This person said they would check and get back to me within the next couple days. I never heard back. I sent emails to this individual, and to Sun Country legal but have only heard that **************** (not legal) would be getting back to me. Nothing.Bottom line - there was nothing indicating an expiration on the credit, and no transcript of the phone call from Sun Country where it's claimed it was all explained to me. I'm not asking for an actual refund, only an opportunity to use the credit. It seems incredibly unfair that Sun Country should keep my money.

    Coming from ********* with straight flights to ****** and these guys have never seen a fish shipping box before. They would not let my fish box ship with the foam inside completely covered and sealed. Told me I had to take the foam box out and have just the card board itself. I told them Ive flew many times with these on their airline and others. The supervisor there named ****(dark skinned skinny with accent bald)said his 20 yrs of working there hes never seen them before or let anyone take them on the plane. They made my trip extremely difficult with loss of time, stress, inconveniences, unprofessional check-ins. Also Overcharged luggage fees. I flew back to ****** and guess what? Five other people with the same shipping box came on the same flight up to ******. If I ever use Sun Country again I might have send that supervisor home with a rotten salmon tail to the face or maybe white bass guts. He definitely deserves it after saying it was okay to send it under the plane then changes his mind unexpectedly. Forcing me to unpack everything and repack in front of everyone. He kept saying he was the boss of Sun Country so he took photos of the shipping containers as if hes going to receive a trophy.

    This is not the Sun Country we used to love when it was locally owned.Jan 5th, 2023 flying from *** to ***. Plane coming from *** left about an hour late (westher). No big deal. When landing hit bird on windshield. Plane out now Had to wait for new plane from ***. Finally left and arrived in *********** about 8 hours late. Around 11:30 PM. Missed my shuttle to ******** ( 5 PM ). Had to get hotel room. Picked up shuttle at 8 AM To ********. Sun Country sent every passenger a $100 voucher. I emailed explaining the extra expense incurred that other didn't have. Asked for a $120 voucher to cover most of the room. Denied. The old Sun Country used to be so much better. Several years ago we had a Plane issue in ************* and they paid for hotel room, food and gave a $200 voucher to everyone.No customer service anymore.

    We have a Sun Country **** credit card that we pay an annual fee for. When we first got the card it allowed us to pick a seat and check the first bag for free. Since the you now have to pay half price for a seat and half price for a checked bag. The mail complaint is that when my wife went to book a seat and pay for the first checked bag it would not give her the half price. We have since found out that if the primary card holder is not on the same booking the half price does not apply and were told that we would each need our separate credit card account. This make no sense as we can both charge using the one account but only the primary card holder gets the benefits of the half price seats and checked bag when not flying with the primary card holder. My wife was very upset and felt that this is a scam by the for her to not get the same benefits that the card offers. .
