      Had a controller fail under warranty. No replacement available. Customer service ordered replacement pump and controller. Warranty replacement now costing me $88. Waited 5-7 business days and contacted store. They told me the parts where back ordered with no shipping date in sight and still billed my credit card. Went online to Amazon, found exact same new part and ordered it. Part came in two days, installed it and works great. Why is Sleep Number not maintaining spare parts for warranty beds? Why did I have a replacement sourced and installed in two day if none were available? Why was I not told of there ongoing supply problems and told it was back ordered? Why was my credit card charged prior to the item shipping? What good is a warranty if the business has no capability to honor it?

      Great customer service and follow through. We received a call from Jake, our store associate, a few days after receiving our bed. He's helpful and knowledgeable.

      The initial sales consultant was fantastic, and the beds may be wonderful however the communication around delivery is lack luster at best. The initial 6 1/2 week lead time was fine. The text/email message 2 days prior were spot on. The last minute phone call from a disgruntled employee the day prior to delivery was ok but not confidence inspiring. The total lack of communication the day of delivery never happened and it wasn't until I spoke with a helpful service rep at the delivery cutoff time that I discovered the delivery would not be made. Later that evening I received a call that the delivery would now be scheduled another 6 weeks out. Unacceptable even by today's standards.

      The sales people were a dream to work with however after we receiving our bed, it was nothing but problems. The experience that we had with sleep number Customer Service after purchasing our bed was absolutely terrible. We contacted them on multiple occasions, they sent technicians to our house three separate times where they tried to fix our bed however they were unsuccessful. At times it felt like we were being laughed at because of the split in the middle and they were uncaring about the situation. We have a split king bed and the split in the middle it leaves such a gap that our children get stuck in it. Sleep number has stated that they cannot do anything other than give us a king size bed or mattress at a place where we would then lose out on thousands of dollars. The experience was awful and no one was willing to help us. We have excepted the fact that we have a defected mattress and now will have to live with us for the next 15 or more years.

      We just purchased our first Sleep Number bed and we can't wait to get it. I have chatted a few times with some questions and they have aways been very helpful answering my questions and even making recommendations for sheets. Great customer service so far. Look forward to getting the bed. Will update when we get it and try it out.
