I have been a Target Card Member since ****. For about a year, if I make a payment more than the minimum payment it takes OVER TWO WEEKS to post to the account. I have had to make many phone calls to their customer service who then insists on calling my bank to "make sure" they sent the thousands of dollars to them. Today I spoke to a ******* (claims to be a supervisor) who refused to give me his ID or confirm # for the phone call and refused to make my credit available, when I paid the balance in full May 3rd. I ultimately cancelled the card. Do not use Target RedCard.

Target is absolutely ridiculous. I'm a truck driver and during the pandemic I was so busy driving and getting supplies delivered all over America. My Red Card was set on autopay and since I couldn't manage my credit union I switched my payment to my other bank since they're nationwide. Unaware that it didn't apply for the current month my payment failed to post. Target ended up putting 2 late payments on my account. I've written, called and filed a complaint with CFPB about this error. Target refuses to rectify the entries. I had same issue with Kohls and Walmart. They immediately fixed these late payments but Target is so greedy and unfair they will not fix it no matter what. I can't wait to pay this account off and close it even though it's one of my oldest cards. I refuse to give them my business after this.

years i been with them, and now the people you talk with you can't understand. I tried to get to my red card account, could not. Wanted to sign in could not. I spent 45 mins on the phone and ended up canceling my red card.

Worst customer service Ive ever received. They fill these jobs overseas and the communication is horrible. Nobody can give you correct info. Cant redeem rewards for two months now and no one can fix the issue. They laugh and pretend they cant hear you when they dont know/want to help.

I had alot going on and forgot to pay my account. It was reported to credit as 30 days late and my score dropped 100 points as a result. I have been in good standing with them since I opened my account quite a while ago. I called to see if they could remove it as a one time courtesy and they said they couldn't. I know that's not true because every other creditor I've ever had has been able to. Thanks for nothing

I had a Target RedCard before pandemic and was making payments. Lost my job during pandemic & I attempted to make payment arrangements, they refused and wanted the full amount. Which initially was like $500, but they wanted over $1000, now they took over $2,600 out of my account which is now pretty much frozen because I am now over $2000 overdraft. They took over 300% of the actual amount owed. This company is a big rip off, they dont care if your kids are eating or have a roof over their heads. I tried to make payment arrangements and purposely refused so they can get More money out of people who can barely make it. Now I have to try to get assistance to pay my rent because they left me with nothing in the bank. The Rich get richer and the poor get Poorer. If you plan to get a Target credit card Dont you will regret it just as I am regretting it now.

Used to be the best, not anymore. The website *****. Call the 800 number and you get nothing but young rude kids who don't want to help you! On top of it all they put you on hold and play Mexican Mariachi Music. I'm not in the mood for party music, I complained and they said most of our customers are Spanish as she was and she hung up on me! S**** "Woke Target"!

ZERO STARS. WORST business and customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a stroller for my granddaughter online and took "advantage" of the discount on a new credit card. I received the bill, set up the account through my online banking and paid off the item in full. The payment was posted 3 days late. I took responsibility and said I should have made sure payment landed on the correct date and asked if there was there anything they could do. I was told I was eligible for a one-time reversal. Perfect. This should have been the end of it. The following month I get another bill with interest and another late fee. I called and was told they could not reverse the interest which is why I got another late fee. Since then, I have spoken to 8 people. They continue to charge me late fees and more interest on late fees. Now they tell me they can only reverse 2 late fees in a 12-month period and they will only do it if I PAY THEM FOR THE OTHER LATE FEES, which should never have been charged in the first place. I'm about to pay them just to get them off my back and stop further late fees. I feel this is wrong and they are profiting from customers fraudulently.
